This was a beautiful drama
However, terrible terrible endingI enjoyed watching this drama until episode 16
I was hoping for a sweet ending this ending was very disappointing please? You need a season three to satisfy the viewers. The drama was very funny and very sweet I like how the second couple came together I would watch this drama again and stop at episode 15. The leading characters had great chemistry. Houses we're beautiful
What a waste for ending. What is with the three years later I don't think the ending needed all that

I love this drama
I love this drama so much. It's so funny but with real life's struggles . I laughed, I cried and I learned valuable life's lessons. But in real life, we should never lost hope as these following verses give us hope. Please allow me to quote the following:"Don't let your shortcomings discourage you and determine the course of your life. Jesus said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2Cor 12:9). When you depend on the Lord's unmerited favor, His undeserved grace will turn you into a champion for His glory!"
I just quoted these verses because I felt this drama is so sad especially when the FL said that
"I work like a dog to survive
But I dont know why Im still in this rut
Look at all those houses
But why there is no home for me."
I hope other reviewers of this drama can also feel what others felt. Even an ordinary person like me was so touched by those statements because it's real to many.
JungSomin's versatility is superb as there is a complexity of emotions here. The best acting is not just in crying but also in other emotions a person felt like when you are angry, surprised, frightened, happy, sad, etc. JungSoMin is truly the rom-com queen...

Initially a perfect 10/10 or even more
From Ep.1 , I wanted to rate this show a 10/10. Everything was good, perfect. It was the nicest romcom we ever gotten for a very long time, story is cliche, yes, but it was still good nonetheless. The cast is also perfect, they had perfect chemistry with each other and the OST were also damn good, especially with Yuri's Story of Us. This show was a perfect 10/10 only from Ep 1 to 15. Ep 16 lost my 0.5 rating, ep 16 was not it. A sudden unnecessary conflict just barged in from out of nowhere and ruined the episode, (spoiler) the main couple did not end up together because of that conflict, they missed each other and met again but they probably stayed as friends(?). NOPE. It was as if you enjoyed 15 episodes with them being lovey dovey, but just breaks up because of that small issue. I don't know what the writer was thinking for the last episode. I understand that the story does not revolve around their relationship, but also friendships, work life balance, a 'home', which was most important to the story's values. But we definitely could not ignore the romantic relationship between the main couple, it was ruined. There was never once a boring moment in the show, it was sooo nice, the comedy, the romance, everything was nice. Also kept telling my friend to watch this but the last episode, smh. This is the first time a show actually made me disappointed with their ending, especially for a romcom, the happy ending we all anticipated for didn't happen. But in all case, this show doesn't deserve such a low rating either, if you watch it from the first episode to the 15th episode, then it's perfect. Writer-nim, why did you ruin the last episode... it's really a waste.. damn it.Ep 1-15: 11/10
Ep 16: 5/10

Do yourself a favor and pretend like it stops at ep 15
So many spoilers sorry.WHY?! Just whhhhhhy??? They'd fixed everything they really needed to by 15 (they could have just shifted up the side plot to resolve then as well.) but no.. they felt like they needed to add a 16th episode where the main couple break up for the most ridiculously contrived reason ever. Obviously they don't get back together because the man would have to be a complete idiot to take her back after she dumps him because, and I paraphrase "looking at you would make me sad that my father was a jerk." Seriously??? wtf. On top of that she ghosts her best friend's wedding because she's too busy being petulant?!? Girl doesn't deserve Ja Sung. Her anger when he left her earlier on was completely justified but they managed to resolve things. However this ending is ridiculous and completely out of left field. Why they thought they should ruin such a cute drama with this rubbish ending is beyond me.

wasted potential for a great something
The difference between a house and a home. A hit and a miss with a dash of humor and aesthetic houses. I would love to recomment it if interior designing and architecture of houses fascinates you.Genre - Rom-com
Story - Pretty houses, struggle and problems with buying houses and why to buy a house. The story does justice to the theme and maintains steady interest in the building up of the premise. But if you are a regular drama watcher then you already are aware of the cliches of a normal drama and this is full of it. From unnecessary and annoying love triangle to meaningless breakups, they try too hard to stretch the story when they should have kept things simple. The characters are sweet and lovable and make you relate to the story to a certain extent but that's all. The chemistry between the main leads was painfull to watch especially because of the male lead. The parallel storylines are not that commendable making it extrememly mediocre.
Acting - Jung So Min is a good actress but there are limits where she becomes a wallflower. KIm JI Suk is a good actor with a great potential but wasted because the character was not convincing enough. The chemistry made it impossible to fall in love with the characters.
Will i watch it again, NO.
Will i recommend it to people, NO.

House + Love = Home
"-The fateful last episodes ruined, for many people, what could have been a great drama."Here´s my take on this:
I didn´t love the end. Then, did I hate it? Not really.
This drama presents us with a great variety of ships throughout the episodes, some better than others; some I loved more than others; some were unnecessary *coughs in love triangle*.
There are a lot of cliches, but I don't mind them since most contrast with the comical ambiance that the screenwriter so well created. The romance between the CEO and an employee is the biggest cliche of them all. I could argue that there are particularities that differentiate this couple from others of the same genre, but I just can´t be bothered. It`s a cliche, so what? Accept it and move on.
Ships and boats apart, I can finally get to my favorite part: House + Love = Home. That is what we all look for, a sense of belonging. Finding a home is finding love, comfort, joy, peace. It´s not as easy as it sounds, and this drama shows just how hard it can be to find/build one.
The real estate tips were a fantastic addition. Not very often do I come across a drama that provides pertinent information explained in such an easy way.
All the houses that were showed got me mesmerized. At a certain point, it felt like I was watching "Property Brothers" in a good way, of course.
Lastly, I have to commend the acting, which was exceptional and, by far, the best attribute of this drama.
To everyone who is considering watching this show, please go for it. I`m certain you´ll be able to find the same or a similar type of comfort I felt while watching it.

it was going so well????
I think that overall, the drama is really good. I don't watch a lot of office dramas, but tbh because it's about more of the office of a creative industry, it was interesting to me as someone wanting to work in the creative industry. I also really just simply liked seeing pretty houses (both exterior and interior) so this drama gives me quite a lot of joy just because of the houses shown. Also, I really adore Gyeom and Chan's friendship a lot. The type to fight a lot but really they care so much for each other and always there for each other and they were just really adorable and nice to see.Tbh some of the turn off sides like the whole tsundere, rich guy who's mean and cold (of course i know he's actually a pretty nice guy and all but yknow, its still kinda eh to me when he was all mean), and the whole breakup in the near ending episode for conflict and then getting back together. I expected it, but it's still eh. That's kinda fine and all BUT..... ONE PROBLEM i have is with the last episode. I seriously, genuinely don't understand why they decided to suddenly make a problem right at the ending.... Like I would be fine if maybe the BIG problem is at ep 15 and the resolution is at ep 16 but this???? isn't the case at all. Suddenly dumping the whole disappearing dad turns out to be the person who made the bf lost trust in people??? And breaking up over it??? (Which yknow understandable why they broke up BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE TIMING OF IT ALL) like I'm really genuinely confused what the hell happened??? Like I really think that whole dad thing should've been the main conflict and main reason they brok up in the mid episodes instead of gyeom getting broken hearted and getting into an accident and them breaking up bc jasung feels bad for him.... like literally compared to whatever the hell they dumped at ep 16 shouldve been the main thing for their like.. around 3? episodes of breaking up.... idk it really doesnt make sense to me how they dropped such a big thing at the last episode..... honestly kinda ruined the drama a little for me. but yknow, eh. I still think it's good, just not about the last episode...

Light treats as an appetizer
This drama storyline is a bit similar to "This Is My First Life" with Jung So Min, which she was also the lead. I am just a big fan of her.The chemistry among the cast is great and its showed by they interact with among each characters in a light and funny interaction. The buildup of the storyline is solid, but the ending was very disappointing. It seems they tried to finished the series in a hurry and crammed it into the last episode. No detail breakthrough of how the story progress/end, unlike in the beginning. It just end of story, you don't need to know why or how.
Very unsatisfying watch. "This Is My First Life" is a way better watch, like a full course dinner.

Waste of tears
Worst ending ever! A complete waste of my tears and 16 hours of my life. I absolutely adore watching Kim Won Hae! He is a brilliant actor. Chae Jung An was so fierce! Loved her character. And I would be totally rude if I didn’t mention the cameo of one of the greatest actresses of all time, Lee Jung Eun. But the outcome of the show was dreadful. Real life is full of disappointments, I don’t want to watch it or read it. I use tv, movies, and books as escapism. If you have a fragile heart, you should avoid this drama. If you are hoping to walk away with a a mile, you should avoid this drama. If you long for the fairytale ending, avoid this drama. If you are feeling dark and hate love, enjoy. Was this review helpful to you?
Cute romcom, but skip Ep 16
I will admit that I watch Kdramas for the cliches and fluffy, happy moments and general feel-good quality and this show has a lot of these. A chaebol ML, a strong-minded (?) FL, good visuals, decent OST and a solid supporting cast. The first few episodes were genuinely funny and entertaining as well.A lot of the recent shows seem to have writing problems towards the ending (cough-Startup-cough) and this one suffered the same fate. The last episode made no sense to me at all! I have no idea why the writer went down the route they did, but it had no story or visual correlation to the first 15 episodes.
Overall, I watch dramas for the enjoyment and light moments, and I must say this delivered to a large extent. Not the best romcom out there, but fun nevertheless.
