But end was disappointed
Story was interesting ,all leads were good . Shi Dong ,I guess I wrote right name . He portrayed the best brother image really I think every girl wants such a brother who is so caring and for him her sister happiness is first priority for this re ready to sacrifice his life but ready to put on risk his sister's husband life because if something happened to him then how his sister live without him.Love story was good as well as both the lead too. Hou shi is so cute.
Everything was going perfect but end leads to disappointed ,specially the end l.
She came back into a real life and she met him and drama over ,what did this mean , her brother disappeared for one year ,. In search of him she drowned in little water and entered into parallel world where his brother known as Devil and real devil was missing and everybody mistook him with devil and gave him a place of Devil , where was that Devil I thought he would come at the end and they go back to their world . At the end one person had to sacrifice his life for some type of power ,I forgot what type of power . Actually it was some type of practice in which one person had to sacrifice his life .that person was lead but instead of him . Then two person sacrificed their Life ,so that he lead a peaceful life with his wife where only one had to sacrifice but two person sacrificed this I don't understand then he himself sacrificed this also I didn't get it . One thought I should not put logic into it and just enjoy the drama . So when he died she came backe to her world along his brother where her brother don't know about parallel world and he thought she got crazy when she talked about it because he didn't get it anything. So why he didn't know now I thought two possibilities one is may he lost his memories or she just dreaming .
Then she looked for Hou shi so she went to the same place where the story started so she found him and they both see eachother and drama get over. So what is this all about . Is there second season ? To clear our doubt

Sweet and Binge Worthy
I started this drama with no expectation at all, surprisingly, it actually captured my interest, and soon enough I was hooked and was binged watching it until 4 AM.Props to this drama, as I truly admired and respect how it didn't just focus on a singular kind of love. It's not just about the romance between two people; it also showed the love between and for family members, love for friends, and love for the masses/people around.
While the story isn't perfect and there is quite a big plot hole towards the end, the main essence and message of the story still wasn't lost and still gave an acceptable cap to the story.
Other Reasons to Love the drama:
The main leads Hou Chi and Shi Xia are just too adorable! The growth in their characters as the episodes progress is truly worth looking forward to and watching. What started as an awkward relationship turned into such a sweet cotton candy kind of relationship. I can't just stop rooting for them. Plus, can we just give some props to how great the acting of Hou Chi was. The way he was able to carry that poker and innocent face just helped in making the story so much more gripping.
The sibling relationship of Shi Xia and Shi Dong was also given great justice. I loved how they were able to resolve something that has traumatized Shi Xia for such a long time. I also loved how until the end, it was proven that even if Shi Dong is a bit weird in showing it, he truly loves and cares for his sister.
The relationship between Sect Leader/Owner and his Children. While I kinda fast-forwarded this part, this is actually one of the main storylines in the drama, and I must say, it was embedded quite ingeniously. What I appreciate the most in this aspect of the story is how it highlighted a parent's love for their children more than anything else.
What I Find Lacking:
The Ending... The continuation of everyone's life from the xianxia world to the modern world is quite confusing and abrupt. How did Hou Chi survive and how was he able to send Shi Xia and Shi Dong back to the modern world, at the same time transporting himself as well? What is his life in the modern world like? Why is it that only he and Shi Xia remember the other world, but Shi Dong doesn't? There isn't a whole lot of explanation, I think that adding one more episode to clear this up would have made the drama perfect.

Yes, it was far beyond my expectations!!!
Indeed, It was a great surprise for me! I thought it would be a second or third class drama, because it seems to be a low budget production, with actors not too famous. However, I am so addicted to the original and funny plot . Ando also I appreciate that male lead is always kind to female lead, there is no humiliation as in many asian drama.I cannot stop laughing when the two "brothers" meet.
If you enjoy light wuxia romantic comedies, you shall not be disappointed. I hope it continues in the same vibe, since now the drama is still ongoing.
I will not describe the plot now. I wanna just write down a short reccomendation because I almost skipped it.
I apologize for my poor skills in English.
Have fun!

Surpassed my expectations for now
I am pleasantly and overwhelmingly surprised at how good this drama is right now. I say 'right now' because C-dramas have a way of going downhill somewhere in the middle. I didn't get bored once during the first 10 episodes and currently, there's no evil love rivals or meddling parents trying to marry ML off to someone to further their political aspirations. They're managed to keep my interest with humor, a dreamy fantasy atmosphere, interesting supporting cast and the relationship between Shi Xia (FL) and Hou Chi (ML). I'm amazed. I really am. Granted, it's a little goofy, but it's an amusing sort of goofy and I give them credit for being IMAGINATIVE and CREATIVE - which is something sorely lacking in a lot of C-dramas. Now for a few details. It's apparent that there's more than just brotherly/sisterly affection between ML/FL, and FL is starting to realize that by episode 10. ML is such a novice at relationships that he's currently clueless that his behavior goes far beyond the behavior of a brother. First of all, brothers don't kiss their sisters, even accidentally, and they don't cherish a gift to the point of being flayed by a fire whip. I'm not saying that brothers aren't protective; it's just that it's clear that this relationship of theirs is something more. It brought tears to my eyes when ML suffers punishment for FL and refuses to draw a line between them despite his master's anger. And what's up with that? Why does Master Stone-Face (my name of him) hate women so much? Did some Bi Hong's mother break his heart or something? I guess we're find out.
Right now, my favorite character is FL's real brother, Shi Dong (the Devil Lord). He's such an original character from his wild attire to his 'inventions'. His back and forth with his sidekick is amusing as well. He's such a temperamental rascal I can't help but love him. However, I do wonder about this brother/sister relationship between him and FL. Are they REALLY biological brother-sister? Because he, too, seems a bit too possessive of a mere sister. The brother-sister relationships in this drama are a bit questionable and somewhat creepy, but who knows what will be revealed as the drama progresses.
All the characters are pretty interesting from sweet by shrewd Bi Hong to the meddling fanboy, Yi Yao Gua, to FL's new bestie, Qing Feng. I do kind of hate the Sect Leader right now because he's such a cold-hearted tyrant who only cares about Hou Chi becoming the Alliance Leader. He treats his own son, Bi Hong, like he's worthless because he's not a immortal. Like I said, there's got to be some story behind this guy's behavior. I'm just hoping he's not going to try to force Hou Chi to marry some sect princess or something as most parents do in C-dramas.
I just really hope that this series has a happy ending because right now it's light-hearted yet wonderfully romantic as the relationship between ML/FL grows. Also, the scenery is dreamy and divine. Wished I lived there! I really, really don't want ML/FL separated at the end - they are from different worlds after all so who knows how the scriptwriter resolved this. From experience I know I can't trust Chinese scriptwriter for happy endings. If she has to go back to the 'real' world, I hope she meets a real world, Hou Chi. I'd just as soon have both her and Shi Dong stay in the fantasy world forever.

Parallel Xanxia World
I guess the FL is meant to be a teenager? She acts like she is still a child, so I guess that she is written to be naive and gullible. She constantly needs protecting. The SML shows up many, many episodes into the drama. He is a breathe of non-stoic air after the band of icicles at the martial arts academy. In contrast, the demon world is colourful and creative, as all rules of decorum are thrown out the figurative window.I tried to pick this drama up again after having dropped it once, but it was torture to try to stay interested in it. It doesn't have a plot, unless the plot appears sometime later in the story, but, that's a personal annoyance to me, when the plot is witheld till you no longer care what happens.
The ML, despite his stoicism, I thought was rather good. In contrast, I wanted to like the SML, just because he was at least a colourful character, but, for someone who was supposed to be inventive, creative, and intelligent, he remained incredibly uninteresting as a character. I don't know if this is because of the actor, but I do think another actor could have brought more to what was supposed to be a colourful character, but ended up being just another arrogant one devoid of emotional depth. Anyway, this is another Xanxia snoozefest.
