Cast: I love Sooyoung! She was the reason I started this! :) I am really happy with her acting! I hope she will be in a lot more dramas in the future! Lee Jong Hyuk did wonderful! And OMO Hong Jong Hyun!!! First time ever seeing him in a drama. I think he's amazing! I loved his character so much!!! I hope he is a lead sometime! I would watch his drama!!!
Also I think there should be a rating for Characters.
The characters in this were amazing!!!! Another + for the writers!! They made every character in this understandable!
Gong Min Young: She is one of my favourite female leads now! I love how she didn't take any of Seo Byung's crap when he was like "I'm not a good man for you"
I LOVE HER!! Her character didn't disappoint me even once!
Seo Byung Hoon/Seo Il Rok:
I liked him! He wasn't that much of a jerk and I think he was really cool and... I don't know.. Like even near the end when he was refusing to just recognize his feelings... Yeah I wasn't happy and I think he should've just down something earlier... But I really liked his character.
Master: He's sooo... I don't know... Just.. :'( I love him! I love how it didn't end with him being depressed. If he did I might have died of sadness. But YES! I love Gong Stone/SeoByung couple! I shipped them to the max... But Master was just so cool and lovely... :'( Why dramas do this to me???

Acting was good, in fact I was pleasantly suprised with soo young's ability and who knows if she grows out of being in SNSD she could try acting.

It is a light, breezy and cute drama with adorable characters. The show is so, so much better than the movie, which was sooooooo boring.
Lee Jong Hyuk and Sooyoung have a great chemistry together. I love that the different stories are not only designed but the Cyrano agency leaves room for natural feelings as well. And the cameo by famous actors is like icing on the cake. The OST is super awesome and refreshing.
All in all, one of the best dramas of 2013!!

In Short: A cute rom-com which makes time fly by. Some things were amiss, but i thoroughly enjoyed myself. Would have chosen master, he can cook.
Pros: The episodic format makes time fly, and I liked the couples. Sooyoung was surprisingly refreshing as the idealistic female lead.
Cons: Why would you not choose the guy you call “master”? Also, a kidnapping plot with bombs? In a super breezy rom-com? Really?!

The whole theme of a dating agency that helps people come together was a very cute idea to me. I saw a lot of potential for this drama and I would be lying if I said it wasn't cute cos it very much was. I enjoyed every client that they went through and how they helped them with their romantic problems. But there were a lot of questioning aspects to this drama. Things that just didn't really make sense.
The cast I thought was a little strange. I had recently finished watching A Gentlemen's Dignity before I watched this and thought it was very strange that Lee Jong Hyuk was playing the main lead and Sooyoung was playing the main girl. I couldn't help thinking that their age difference was probably a little too much. Even Chunhee and Sooyoung's age difference was pretty big. No matter how much I looked at it, Sooyoung just looked like a teenager (yes I know she was 20 something at the time) coming in between a bunch of adults. I do wish they had a cast that had a balance in age, whether they found a lead girl around the ages of Chunhee and Jonghyuk or a younger cast to suit Sooyoung, it would've given the drama an even more refreshing sense to it. Hong Jonghyun made me fall in love with him in this drama to be quite honest with you.
The acting was good, Chunhee and Jonghyuk played their roles very well. Sooyoung surprised me the most probably, I was unaware that she had gone into the acting world and her acting in this drama was a pleasant surprise for me. She did a very good job for having the pressures of being a main character. I'd definitely be excited to see her in more dramas or movies just to see how much her acting can improve.
Jong Hyun's character was pretty stoic which is understandable since he had just started getting into the acting world as well. I enjoyed his storyline, it was a nice thing to watch and take my mind off of the main themes going on.
The music was pretty good. I find no complaints in that part. It suited the drama pretty well.
Unfortunately I don't think I'd rewatch it. It has a very cute concept to it which I do enjoy, I'm a sucker for those things. However, there were just some things that bothered me too much for me to rewatch.

Well I think this drama has successfully developed the story of its prior film, Cyrano Dating Agency. If you feel so empty after watching the film, try to watch the drama, it's more cheerful but not cheesy. I like how the writer did in every episodes.
One more thing I like from this drama is the cameos! Oh, how I miss seeing Gong Yoo! And of course, Lee Kwang Soo. And oh, I just realized that Taemin is good looking. Hahhaa.
I think I will put this drama on my favorite list!;D

I applaud the originality of the plot, and the message of the story, which basically tells you that love requires courage, and there are two types of people in this world when it comes to facing love: those who'd rather watch from the distance and imagine what it could have been instead of making a move, and those who take the risk once and once again even if they fail, simply because it's worth it.
As for the cast, and back to Lee Jong Hyuk, he's THE actor in the show and he really fits the role.
I found Sooyoung's character a little irritating at first, but I ended up liking her, and I think she did a pretty decent job.
I found Lee Chun Hee's subplot a little lame and boring, though. It's such a pity, because I really really like Lee Chun Hee and I think he's an underrated actor that deserves better roles in better dramas.
But one of the strongest points in the cast is the large amount of cameos. My favourite ones were Jung Yu Mi and Gong Yoo. The fact that there were different mini stories developing at the same time than the main plot. This helped relieving the strees being put on the main story all the time, and it helped conveying the message either way.
However, I feel that the closure was a little messy; actually that's nothing new in Dramaland, but a little disappointing when you feel you're watching something fresh and new, and it ends up having the same flaws you usually encounter in other stories.
That's why I feel that, even though I enjoyed this drama all in all, it had the potential to become much more than it ended up being.

Would have been better IF I watched it in 2013. A drama that caters to a specific Period or Era.
This drama felt so outdated and has too much cliche scenes. Something about it can make you realize that it was produced back in 2013. The elements and scene presentations made it feel that way almost the entire time.I love Sooyoung and that's my main reason in getting into this. I can't say it's a compete waste of time to watch it but it's really close to that? Thank god I'm a bearing person and God knows how many times I almost drop it. Hahaha~
Now let me break down the things I like and dislike about this drama. Because there's a lot....
Dislikes...
× This drama just made me feel so bored. I'm always doing a lot of stuff while watching it not because I have a lot to do but because the scenes were too bland and uninteresting.
× Too much cliche and recycled love twists going on. Like really? A good drama is a good drama no matter when you watch it. But this drama clearly won't entertain the satisfaction of the watchers in the current times (2021-Present)
× The sudden leap of relationship between the Main Leads on Ep.07 made it so weird and rushed for me. Like they got no better way to make it work so they decided to level it up without any side tracks happening. Lol~
Likes...
× Something that deserved heavy praises is the way they're making their Pair Up Project so greatly. Like, I myself felt amazed watching those scenes. Probably the main reason why I stayed till the end. It's surprising how i'm more interested to the side stories compared to the Main Leads love story. Hahaha~!!
× I love the versatility and comedy it provides. Those moments made me went through the whole thing and endure it till the end.
Story - 7.5, The Pair Up projects are good. I made it an 7.5 because without them it would be 6-7. The Love Triangle of the Main Leads bored me out not because they are toxic but because too much cliche is happening, is bland and for some reason the sudden leap of their relationship made it more uninteresting.
Acting/Cast - 8.5, Acting is Good. I think they just got unlucky with the story and script they chose. Everyone executed good enough and none of them felt forced; It is well balanced i must say.
Music - 10, The redemption part of this drama is with their BGMs and their correct placement every scenes. Ghad! I love the songs so so much and have been listening and anticipating for it every scenes.
Rewatch Value - 5, I definitely won't. I wanted to give it a lower score but I still appreciate some nice parts of it that's why i didn't go all out in criticizing and messing it up.
Overall - 7.0, I do want to give it a little more points but my conscience just won't let me to. The hollow feeling I felt watching this for the sole purpose of finishing it suddenly showed up while i'm writing this review. So, I'm sorry for being real honest but not really. Hahaha~!!
