The male lead goes to prison while in college and separates from the female lead. They meet again after years and trying to be together against the odds
Second chance at love romance. In both dramas, the couples were together and separated. Both dramas show how they come to accept that regardless of the events that separated them, they love and wanted to be with each other.
Both Dramas Started in School.ML is a genius programmer in Both Series. Both are slow Burn ,not that Falling for First Sight. No clingy female Lead in Both.
- FL grows up in a privileged background, ML grows up without his parents.
- FL's mom knows ML as a child before FL even meets ML.
- FL's mom does not like the ML for a mistake that the ML made as a child.

These both dramas took my heart. This two are my favorite forever now. I will recommend these both. You will definitely like both.
Same rich, supportive girl friend.
Same female lead.
Male lead in both dramas are annoying and arrogant at first but has a developmental arc once you know their story and you will want them to succeed
Both has good chemistry
Fall in love, ML is more ruthless
In L&P, ML is a genius in programming while in Fall in love, ML is a very good strategist.

The ml is a ctf programming gamer which also happens to face difficulties in the past times before how accomplished he is today.
Both dramas are about young lovers who are separated because of life mishaps but keep loving each other despite the separation
In both dramas the leads meet again when they are adults and reconcile
The leads in both have somewhat complicated and heavy pasts

in both:
it starts at the present but then goes to university.
the SML and the couple start as friends but then the SML turns bad and then regrets it.
in both they are together in university but then get separated.
the ML FML and SML are top of their class
also in both the main couple deal in the future with problems from the past
and of course the happy ending (:
(Also both of the ML's first name is Xun)
differences:
in LG she goes back to uni in a dream while in LP it's memories
in LG the ML and SML are in love with the FML but in LP the SML is in love with someone else
all in all it was pretty similar but I cried a lot in LP (but I also like LP a bit more)

Although different plotlines, the basics are the same - the ML, FL fall in love then separate but still hold a candle for each other, reunite and work it out. In crush the ML is blind and gets himself operated and his irritated nature makes FL not be able to be with her father during his last moments. The ML gets surgery and comes back. In L&P, the ML comes from a dysfunctional family of abuse and FL is a literal princess coming from a well-to-do wealthy family creating contrast and interesting scenarios. In both the ML is a genius with sad past and is lonesome, who is happiest with his bubbly FL.
Very similar, male leads go through extremely difficult times (loosing legs and being in a wheelchair for SWK, jail and death of a parent in LP ) and have to reject and push away the female leads due to this. But the female leads don't give up.
Both have a melodrama aspect and can be very sad (especially SWK).
