This is just good
I wont go into detailed analysis others have done that well. I agree with one post which says binge this for better enjoyment. It is funny heart warming with some serious aspects and an understated but powerful message about the plight of women and their role in Joseon time with relevance for todays world too. The whole cast have great chemistry the FL is brightness personified. The ML is comedically very good. Its just enjoyable.

Lighthearted & entertaining ensemble drama for binge-watching
I wanted to watch this bc I love both Taecyeon and Hye Joon. But it was somehow very difficult to get going with this drama.- There's a lot of overacting, the pace is off in the first episodes, it felt rushed. Director does not hold the reins tightly enough. As for the first episodes, I felt I'm watching a "bush comedy" - something delivered by amateurs. However, the drama gets better after some 6 episodes. We begin to see that's its basically an ensemble drama and not just leads with a supporting cast. The plot gets more streamlined and there's less of the cringeworthy humour. There are some interesting twists and turns. Bae Jong Ok as Joy's mother adds weight to the cast and the approach, she's such a great actress.
The ending is very satisfactory and we see this as much about Joy and her insistence on independence as the (mildish) romance. What I particularly enjoyed was how this was filmed mostly outdoors, it gave a welcome airiness (after-Covid) to the whole thing. Also liked the way the ensemble was ordinary folks respectfully portrayed, the palace people incl. king having smaller roles and not so respectfully treated. But I skipped a lot, this is basically for binge-watching.

Lee Jae Kyoon for a main role!
It will be short and concise review. The acting wasn't bad and the script wasn't bad either. However, many episodes were dragged out, too many side scenes and weird out-of-nowhere characters were added. I don't understand the appearance of some childhood friend or the switching of children. It made practically no difference to the main story, but we lost 1 episode because of it đ Someone had too many ideas and wanted to cram them all into one drama. When it comes to characters, most of them were well build. Main couple .... they looked great together and played well theirs characters, just didn't feel them together. Not enough of chemistry. Ok Taec Yeon had it more with Jeon Yeo Been in Vincenzo thank with Kim Hye Yoon here đ I also feel his "best villain ever" character will for long be his best role as he was more than excellent there. Here he turned out to be mediocare+.
I cannot say much about Kim Hye Yoon as I saw her now for the first time but I will be on a search for something else with herđ Lee Jae Kyoon on the other hand was EXCELLENT! PEOPLE! GIVE THIS GUY A MAIN ROLE! He is incredible. To be honest, the main storyline could be omitted and replaced with Park family. Love the complexity of relations and interaction. I don't want to reveal too much about the content because a lot happens in each episode so all I will say is that the history of the Park family was ultra interesting! Who would have expected such a twist at the end! But it was too late revealed to save the show. The drama was too stretched till then and lost it's shape đŁ Nevertheless, I am recommending the show but just don't expect too much of it.
HALF SPOILER: If you decide to watch this drama, be on a look out for crown prince. His and king's story is shocking. I didn't understand my immediate dislike towards the king since the first moments but later I exacly knew why it happened! WHAT AN ASSHOLE! He totally deserved that what came at him.

I wanted to drop the show after watching the first episode
I had high expectations with this one. I expected it to be fun and entertaining but to be honest, I wanted to drop the show after watching the first episode. I was so bored. Still managed to watch up to episode 8 or maybe was it episode 9? Can't remember which. But after watching almost half of the show, it is clear that this wasn't for me. So I've decided to just drop the show. Skipped most parts then watched the last episode. I planned to watch again if I happen to like the last episode. I didn't so on to the next adventure.

Tacky and cringey yet a very like-warm one-time watch.
I understand that this is a mindless comedy but still making it a bit sensible wouldn't hurt you.Why does the Female Lead have such a nasal voice? N y is the drama so hell-bent on role/gender reversal and misandrous. I have recently observed K-drama tend to be misandrous for no reason.
How about before u start ur version of feminism.. u start accepting foreign-origin people working/living in ur society (specially from third-world country). U always portray them as needy victims and treat them as aliens who r very different from u. Why don't u start with that flaw? Orels atleast make women equal to men not degrading either of the genders.
There are many more quirks in this drama but I would just like to enlighten u about these ones first. Overall would call it a one-time mindless watch drama with corny or cringey comedy.. yet somehow okay to watch.

Principalmente park tae seo cof cof.

etc.
L'ensemble donne une sĂ©rie trĂšs agrĂ©able, mise en vie par d'excellents acteurs (Kudos to Taecyeon - I like him â€â€â€ and Kim Hye Yoon).
+ le rythme est dynamique
+ les images sont belles et soignées
+ les OST sont excellentes
La série ne restera pas durablement dans les mémoires (pas le "Grand drame romantique Must to See ) mais vous passerez un moment trÚs sympa.
