Love Like the Galaxy: Part 1 (2022)

similarities:
both FL are a general's daughter who is smart and charming.
both FL fall in love with the son/adopted son(in LLTG) of the emperor.
in both the ML seeking the truth about their dead family.
in both the emperor is really smart and have full trust in the ML and later in the FL and also want them to be together.

Completely different storyline but both are the direction towards sadness and loneliness , overcome hardship relying each other
P.s the cinematography is great in both, calm and pleasant.

One of Zhao Lu Si's best performances. Costume drama already aired 2022. Must see in my opinion. Peace?

Both of these shows have a man who is stoic, dangerous and powerful who is seeking revenge in secret for the death of family. They also both control their own loyal guards, They both fall in love with a girl who wants only to live free and is very smart and crafty, making moves on her own to help herself and her friends. The LLTG mom and the Unchained Love empress are played by the same actress. One of them is clearly more evil than the other.

If you wish to see more sweet, caring yet badass generals fall in love these are drama for you. Though i have to mention that familiar stranger is more straightforward.

Although the plot is different. The main female leads are in both dramas. And both have a similar vibe when it comes to the leads romance and certain situations.

Historical chinese drama, both male leads are generals, cold to everyone but only warm and soft for their female lead

Both drama have wonderful balance of drama and comedy, and are more of a serius pieces then a ''comic'' one. The main heroines are a captivating character and we follow theirs stories with a rapid heart. If you looking for a high quality drama with a wonderfull main lead this would be a wonderful choices

These shows share almost no similarities in storyline or genre but they both parody their own genre while also maintaining a great plot of their own and both can make you laugh in the middle of the most serious scenes out of sheer absurdity. Bother are female-driven dramas with complex and interesting characters that have strong convictions and motivations behind all their decisions no matter good or bad. Lots of lessons about family, marriage, and children. Before LLTG I had been struggling to move past the masterpiece that is Sky Castle. People who enjoy clever humor and quality writing will without a doubt enjoy them both.

- arranged marriage by order of the emperor
- unwanted marriage by the FL (and her family)
- emperor favors the general
- hidden political plots

They have very similar style of humor. The heroines/heroes in both stories are very unique and hilarious in their own ways. Yet despite the humor, both stories managed to also be full of drama, intrigue and very heartfelt.

Amazing couples chemistry and historical dramas. Both have battle going on in the background with the main leads fighting to solve their own problems.

it's been a year since FIYS.
While Love like Galaxy seems a farfetched recommendation, i recognised Sun Kai (Xiao Pang) actor playing as a supporting actor to Leo Wu.
Equally funny

Both have a smart female lead who schemes to make her life better. There’s a little crime solving in both. The FLs have multiple suitors and they have significant relationships with the SMLs, not just one sided pining. They have a similar flavor

Proud, independent female with great fighting skills and no-nonsense, direct approach, who has a supporting, loving family. Male lead is elegant and handsome, aparently gentle and educated, but has a hidden secret story and purpose. Palace fighting for power. Male lead confess first ?
