Heart warming and so sweet
This drama has a story that can be said to be interesting and very good, I don't really like most dramas because it's too exaggerated and the problems are too long-winded but for this I really like it. a story that can be said to be heartwarming from the main character to protect and love each other. there is no part that makes me cringe, all of them are well defined, the storyline is also interesting, the drama cast also plays well and is compact. This drama makes me want to watch it to the end in one day and I don't regret it at all. if you guys want to watch this drama I highly recommend it I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?

I like It for no reason.
This series is not something superb, however, it was able to connect to me as a viewer. It does not have superb acting, powerhouse cast, or complicated story line but it really got my attention for some unknown reason. It totally captured me. This, for me, is one character a good series should possess. You just like it for no good reason. Lol!The story is light, sweet, humble with realistic reasoning. I mean, the story did not have to go through a series of misunderstanding, so much pain, self pity and so on to establish a good plot. Most of the drama series Ive watched uses this ever so popular and effective but old "Misunderstanding" trick to stir its viewers emotion. Most of them succeeds in doing so but also alot failed. I mean, if I decide to rewatch this series, I can play it all without skipping those "bad" parts. You know what I mean, Lol!
One other thing I also like about this series are the Leads. They were simply made for this series. Their relationship was sweet and warm, though it was unstable in the beginning. A timid FL and a reasonably thinking ML, good combination.
I ofentimes assume something bad or a misunderstanding or jealousy will happen whenever I see a new character appered in an episode. But the writers handled it well. I ended up making false assumption myself, Lol!
I can say that a beatiful relationship does not need to have a good start or planned. Sometimes it can be coming from an unexpected or from an unwanted situation. And oftentimes the ones with a bad start usually last longer, would you agree? Lol!
The first JDrama that I really like was Perfect World. Now I have 2 in my "I Really Like JSeries" list. Searching for my 3rd. Lol!
Enjoy watching!

Sweet and Wholesome
The story is simple. Their marriage is arranged but their interactions felt very natural. Nothing cliche. It’s short; very typical of a Japanese drama. I wish there were more episodes. But although it’s short, it doesn’t feel rushed at all.
Overall, it’s a pleasant drama recommended for those looking for something that can lighten up their mood after a busy and stressful day.
Story - marriage arranged by the government is weird but it fits the story well
Acting/Cast - good, especially the FL (she’s cute too)
Music - love the soundtrack
Rewatch Value - it’s something I would want to watch when I’m feeling down

Perfect for a cosy watch
If you are looking for something to de-stress and relax with, this is a perfect drama to watch. The episodes are surprisingly shorter than expected but the story is tightly packed and paced. The main couple are perfect together. It's just overall a nice watch and though the premise might sound weird if you only read the synopsis, the drama has managed to approach it in a sensitive and realistic manner. I like that it stayed simple and sweet all the way. I really love the song that comes up at the end with the sweet couple montage.Slight Spoiler:
Although the female lead has come out and integrated with society by the end, I would have liked it more if they showed her getting a job and wilfully getting out of her house, even just bit by bit. I thought that would be part of the process of finding happiness for herself. It would have been nice if they had shown how with the knowledge that she has people who loves her and won't leave her, she gained the courage to take risks by exposing herself more to the outside world.

End of Spoiler*
That was a more personal preference but overall this drama managed to deliver a sweet story and conclusion that have been lacking in a lot of dramas this year. Nothing overly complicated or too ambitious. It's a drama you can watch whilst snuggled up in a blanket with your comfort food and cosy socks on whilst it's freezing outside.

Super cute and sweet quick watch
Very adorable main leads in this sweet romance/contract marriage story. I really liked both main actors and will definitely go looking for other works they have done now. The setting with many nature scenes was peaceful and lovely. I enjoyed the friendships within the neighbors and colleagues that were portrayed. Would have liked more visible skinship -this was very very innocent almost prudish but it’s not a huge deal. Would definitely recommend for a pretty quick watch and a little spin on the contract marriage storyline. Was this review helpful to you?

This show was a sweet slice of life about two
people in an arranged marriage. Ofcourse they fall in love ❤️
I'm slowly 🐌 getting into more Japanese media (Thank You One Piece) and the short shows are a good start.
Really enjoyed the characters and how it was a slow burn romance.
Overall this was a nice one time watch.

It's like a warm hug in drama form
I didn't realize this was a mini-series when I first started it, but once I realized I was a bit skeptical that with only ten twenty-two or so minute episodes, I wouldn't be able to grow that much of an attachment to the characters and stories. Most ten-episode J-Dramas are three times that length after all. Fortunately, that wasn't the case.I loved every episode of this show, and Himari and Shin's relationship was actually so freaking adorable that I don't even know how to express how much I loved them. I don't know quite how to describe it, but I think this show feels like a warm hug. I wasn't expecting such a comforting drama, but that's what I found. And honestly, I'm not sure it can be classified as a drama, because there isn't much drama in it. Even with the lack of dramatic conflict, I was never bored, the story didn't need petty villains, absurd plot twists, or shockbait to be good, and I loved that.
Himari and Shin were the highlight of the show of course. I loved seeing the steady progression of their relationship from two people married for convenience, to a couple that really love and care for each other. There aren't any second leads to drive them apart or miscommunication to drive us insane, just two loveable weirdo's falling for each other. And once they really are together, they have a shockingly healthy relationship, which isn't always common in dramaland. Himari having to learn to care not only about others, but also for herself, and Shin reinforcing that was an absolute delight to watch.
And while I loved them as a couple, both of their individual characters were interesting in their own rights too. I was glad that Shin wasn't the stoic emotionless male lead, and that Himari wasn't your typical naive female lead, it was a breath of fresh air.
There are a few side characters too, which aid to the plot when necessary, but didn't have much story on their own, I didn't mind that though, it gave us more time with the leads.
Though I think that the short length of the drama overall worked, there were a couple of plot points I think could have been fleshed out a little better if we had been given one or two more episodes. And that's pretty much my only real gripe with the whole thing.
Marry Me! was such a simple drama overall, and was an incredibly comforting watch. I had a stupid smile on my face for pretty much the whole show, which by the way, I finished in like one sitting. I'll probably be back for a rewatch too.

Heartfelt drama about marriage of convenience
Marry Me! is a warm Jdrama about marriage of convenience. What I like
1) I watched many Jdrama about marriage of convenience. Expected fluff but I cried in episodes 3 & 4.
2) Rinka Kumada portrayed Himari's sweetness & naivety very well. Himari is childlike because she lacked opportunity to socialise with people her age. However she is not dumb and does not want to be treated with kid gloves.
3) I like that supporting characters play role in enriching Himari's life.
4) I like the male lead Shin. He was empathetic towards Himari. The actor Toshiki Seto resembles D.O & Lee Dong Wook.
5) Slow burn romance - I like how the relationship progressed from strangers who married for convenience, to confidant and true life partners. When Himari told Shin that she was to become dependable so Shin can rely to her more, wow I was touched by the growth of her character.
What I dislike
1) I dislike that the boss prioritise the experimentation more than male lead's welfare. He and Himari should be able to withdraw from the research without being threatened.
Favourite scene
When Himari had a heartfelt conversation with her in laws during their first visit to her house. I cried a lot!

This is so clean for a marriage drama.
Marry Me is a slice of life drama. If you expect over the top romance, this is not for you. It handles realities of; not only marriage but some aspects of life too. Pretty much universal yet heartwarming. The relationship built was indeed pure and a bit formal. But it works for the couple. It was the shape of the couple. I recalled the similar phrase used in Shanai Marriage Honey.I like every character. No hassle, no overbearing in laws and exes or overdone developments. It is like watching a polite community trying to help each other.
The chemistry was almost robotic due to the screenplay I think. The dynamic was different from Shanai Marriage. Marry Me centres more on the personal developments in accepting yourselves and others rather than romantic relationship between the mains.
I have no issue because it is still a light drama that is safe to be watched on the big screen with your parents.
