Happiness (2021)

They both are about a virus/ flu spread . I feel like everyone who likes these kind of shows would like both.

Both have similar vibes as they are stuck in one apartment complex, and the outside is dangerous. Also, both are survival show/movie.

Both dramas deal around;
- a married couple,
- something was released that is now infecting people,
- an area that is under lockdown,
- a group of people that managed to barricade themselves in a building and try to survive.

The stories are very different but both are action drama with a main couple that are equals in fighting and completely trust one another. They have very healthy relationships and are very protective of one another. The Fls are very direct while the MLs are more reserved. They do their best to protect people but come into conflict with those in power.

This drama is about a professor who has genius mind and a special crime detective police woman try to solve a chain of murder case. They both know eachother since they were little but for some reason professor lost part of memory . His father was the police psychology doctor. His father was appointed to take the truth out from the most dangerous psychopath of all time and the when detective was little her father was a prison guard for that psychopath. However that psyopath escape from prison through creating big scandal. That psychopath kidnapped that prison guard and after that he killed that psychological doctor and then disappeared, after long when they become adults they determined to catch that psychopath. Through the investigation they found this chain murder cases exactly like the murder cases happened in past then they identified that psychopath isn't dead. There are few people close these two. But the psycopath hiding as a their close friend. Who will be the psychopath? Will they catch him or will he kill them?

Both have a thriller/mystery aspect; both involve the leads working together and trusting one another as partners as they fall in love; both delve into the lives and psychology of the people surrounding us that we might otherwise skate by.

The plot is different but gives the similar Thriller, Psychological vibes
- RM (Kidnapping/Murder/Stalking) whereas Happiness (Zombie Attack)
- Both ML are strong & detective in the field
- Both crimes/action in the Apartments

- the dramas center around survival. happiness is about surviving a zombie apocalypse, while d-day is about an earthquake
- they focus on themes such as human greed, morality and selflessness
- both dramas have mainleads that work together as a duo and later become a couple

Similarities
-Both dramas are centered around water and the diseases surrounding water. In The Silent Sea some characters become infected with the water that is found on the moon and In Happiness, it isn't the water itself that is the problem but it enhances the thirst for blood once the person is infected.
-Both are military themed dramas. In Happiness, the military is quietly trying to solve the zombie outbreak, and in The Silent Sea the Korean government sends a group of capable soldiers to handle the water crisis in South Korea.
-Both have creepy locations where the characters become trapped in. In Happiness, it is an apartment complex, and in The Silent Sea it is a research base on the moon.
Differences
-The Silent Sea is a sci-fi space thriller where the mystery is mostly what happened to the people inside the research lab, and in Happiness, it is a survival drama where the main characters must somehow survive a zombie outbreak inside an apartment complex.
-The virus is much more fatal in The Silent Sea than Happiness. (surprisingly)
-The Silent Sea has a bitter-sweet ending whereas Happiness has a happy ending.
Both shows will keep you at the end of your seat, highly recommend!!

both are about survival, apocalypses, action, violence,suspense and military, just one is about extraterrestrial beings and another is a side effect from a medicine which makes people blood thirsty.

Both apocalyptic and heart stirring. Each has the perfect amount of thrill and danger while retaining themes of family and romance while battling the urge to survive.

The similarity between these two series is vague but still there. My pov is focused more on the main characters and the relationship that these couple hold.

Both these series have the main couple in love, fighting for themselves and protecting each other from the worst.

The female leads are strong and kick ass. Both have detectives and female leads fighting to protect their loved one.

If you love to see a sweet bond between the main couple with action....this might be for you!
