Excellent BL.The 4 main actors played their parts superbly. I love badboy bls without giggly annoying females.Loved how the story panned out.I had no hang ups about the age difference at the start as that's life.Nothing surprises me in this day and age.
The emotions and hurt that Bai Zonggi and jheruei
went through was painful to watch especially when they were both beaten by zhang Teng .Can't praise the 4 main actors enough..Hsu Kai..Taro Lin..Nat Chen..Louis Chiang not forgetting all of the other cast members...Directors..scripwriters..production

It deserves to be even more famous
I literally watched it all in one day because the episodes are only 25 minutes long and if you just sit for some hours you’ll be done (in my case I sat 6 hours straight and watched it oh lord I was obsessed)

THE SECOND COUPLE WAS LITERALLY MY EVERYTHING. I WAS WATCHING IT FOR THEM AND I WILL WATCH IT AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR THEM

GOD THE KISSING SCENES AND THE MAKEUP SESSIONS MADE LOOSE MY MIIIIIIND

Both couples had an A+++++ chemistry but the second couples’s storyline and every single detail about them stole my heart

The only thing from keeping me to give this a 10000/10 and made me give it a 9,5 was because I’m always annoyed with tv shows that has a relationship with a minor and an adult. He was almost an adult okay but I was eh about that fact. That’s also one of the reasons why I loved the second couple even more, they had a 2 years only age gap and they were also both adults.

WHEN SOMEONE ASKED ME WHAT IS BL? MY ANSWER; KISEKI DEAR TO ME !

I want to begin with the story, I don't know if this was the first gangsters themed BL I ever watched but this is literally has an amazing story, not too bloody, everything is exciting. I Like the progression, most BL stories have different ways of lead first meeting but here, it was exciting, like a gangster man lived in the house of a student, it was really catchy, and for an unknown reason I had a teary eyes many times watching this, this is not too dramatic but I felt it ! specially when Bai Zong Yi for many times pardoned Fan Jhe Ruei becuase he loved him ? I felt his love. The couples beginning has so many funny things and as they develop feelings for each other it was so nice, like the couple led the story well althrough the way. I cried When Bai Zong Yi"s family still accepted Jhen Ruei even he was improsoned because of him, I so love how the story ended. When Jhen Ruei pretended to have an amnesia, and Bai Zong Yi opened a bakery of strawberry for Jhen Ruei I was so emotional like I felt those part so much ❣️ this couple's story is just so lovely that I can't get over it. This is phenomenal, I was never wrong watching it right away. Chen Yi and Ai Di was so great also here, like they should have their own drama focusing on their story, Ai Di waiting for Chen Yi a long time, I was so emotional, I cried when Ai Di was celebrating his birthday alone when he had promised with Chen Yi to celebrate together but inspite of it, I liked how strong he is, even when Chen Yi is coming back to him finally, there was so many funny moments of them I love them here. I also like the part when Bai Zong Yi back hugged Jhen Ruei !! my fave part so so much ! ??. When this drama included a cameo of some amazing BL Actors from the past was really great, the one from beloved In House I do, from history S4 and the Plus Minus which is my favorite also ! this made even more catchy! I so love the story, not too heavy, not too light not too dramatic , just a right portion of everything needed !
The actors are amazing Kai Hsu ! so so manly so chinese dark handsome look, and Taro Lin so so cute, he resembles Park Bo Gum for me ! their acting is so amazing, when they cry, I cry also ! they are just so so real , like all of them is so so like real ! Let me just say that I was surprised that Kai Hsu was the submissive here .. but it was cute it was different it was new .. they just fit each other , well nowadays being a top or a bottom or dominant or submissive on same sex relationship does not matter anyways, and that is what they have represented here ! being of those does not depend on the looks right? so anyways I just love it, it was refreshing .The songs are great ! made me feel even more the depths of each characters and what the story is implying. Let me just also say that Taiwan BL's hit different for me because when they kiss , it just like, they're just doing it as if it was just like hugging or like handshakes, coz too natural, zero % awkward thing on kisses, as if they have been doing it for a long time ! like they are so comfortable to the one they are kissing ! and the good thing is it is not too steamy, it was just right ! ? it just feels so real ! this is what I notice on taiwanese BL , from the We best love: no. 1 for you, damn ! they are like hussler ! ? and It is amazing for me, that is what I love on Taiwanesw BL , like they know from heart what we like BL fans ! and here at Kiseki , legendary kissing scene I should say ! Korean BL sometimes has that awkward factor which is okay it is normal anyways but Taiwanese, you will never end a BL series unsatisfied ! ?? not to mention their videos of fan services , that they even do kisses !! Going Back, Rewatch Value ? I would definitely rewatch this one over and over again in my life ! there is no reason not to ! Too bad that it was obly 13 episodes, I just hoped it was longer like 16, but even so it was complete, the story is well progressed and elaborated, some actors here have not too perfect acting but it was enough it was okay , not to perfect for everyone but perfect for me, the story focused on the love story which is what I've always liked in drama specially BL'S , they really got me here, And ! BoBo Lu ?! he is so cute by the way .. please let him be a lead on a BL also ? I love this drama really ! I hope to see the leads here on another drama ?? wanna see more of them please .. looking forward. this is definitely one of my top recommendations. when someone asked me what is BL ? The Drama that make you fall in love and believe in love again!

"Kiseki: Dear to Me" is the first BL drama I’ve ever been truly addicted to. Compared to dramas from other countries in this genre, Taiwan truly excels in creating extraordinary chemistry between couples, as well as fostering strong friendships and interactions between all the actors. The offscreen chemistry is equally remarkable, making it clear how genuine and pure-hearted these actors are. Their performances feel so natural, it’s as if they’re expressing real love and affection rather than acting.

I’m especially captivated by both the onscreen and offscreen chemistry between Chen Yi and Ai Di. Their bond is so compelling that I’m desperately hoping for another drama where they star as the leading roles together. I doubt I’ll ever find the same level of authenticity, care, and affection in any other series.

Even the supporting roles in "Kiseki: Dear to Me" were flawlessly portrayed, and the entire production—from the story to the casting and the crew—was outstanding. As an international fan, I believe the world needs more Taiwanese dramas. In my opinion, they’re truly the best in the genre these days.

YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS!

I think this might be the fastest I’ve ever finished a show in my life.

I knew just from the clips I’ve seen that I would really enjoy Kiseki: Dear to Me, but I didn’t think I would love it as much as I did. I could not stop watching or thinking about this show. The way it was filmed was absolutely beautiful, the acting was simply amazing no words, especially for Taro as this was his first series! The range he showed was incredible! The chemistry between Nat and Louis and Kai and Taro was chief’s kiss amazing. The Cinematography was stunning; I swear some of those shots were just beautiful, the storyline wasn’t that confusing despite it being less than 30 minute long episodes. Everything is explained and the way the episode’s are structured helps the story along and makes it seem real because time actually passes and it’s shown. The music was perfect as well. I both love how short the episodes are but I also want them to be an hour long as well.

I’m so sad it’s over but the messages from Nat, Louis, Taro and Kai were so sweet and the behind the scenes clips at the ends were a joy to see.

Now below this are just random thoughts I had while watching that I want to add because..why not! Beware there are spoilers..


The comparison between Zhe Rui and a cat is the funniest and most truthful thing I have ever seen.

Drunk Ai Di is adorable and the fact he’s a cuddly drunk is even greater. Plus his friendship with Rui is adorable. Sullen, jealous Zongyi is somehow adorable and funny and I love it.

THE SPIT TAKE IN E6!!! I’VE NEVER LAUGHED SO HARD. NOT AI DI DOING THE EXACT SAME THING THOUGH!!!!

I freaking adore Zongyi’s family

Everyone in this show is gay and I love it!!!

The scene (You know the scene) between Ai Di and Chen Yi was both beautiful and heartbreaking, the tear from Ai Di, the music, the way it was shot was just beautiful and heartbreaking for Ai Di.

Zongyi’s reunion with his dad and sister was tear inducing and so sweet. The acting done by the actors playing Zongyi’s dad and sister was spectacular. The grief and guilt they portrayed because Zongyi went to prison for his dad to get a new heart was so sad!!!!!

HIS FAMILY IS SO PROUD AND SUPPORTIVE OF HIM I CAN’TT!!!!!

I’m sorry but Zongyi opening a Cat bakery is just everything to me.

Chen Yi being clueless about how to chase and prove to Ai Di he likes him is hilarious and accrete to his character.

I did not expect that sad as hell scene with Chen Dong Yang and Ming Lei. That breaks my heart but it was also sweet in a really sad way.

I NEVER saw that ending plot twist at all! There will be something at the bottom about it because I can’t not post about that scene! You have been warned!

The one show that I wished I could go over ten stars!

Just everything about Kiseki: Dear to me is just amazing, the chemistry and how even in the behind the scenes they have chemistry is just amazing. I would like to split this review by couples. The first couple is the main couple which is Bai Zong Yi and Fan Ju Rui has so much chemistry, just from the first episode when Zong Yi thought he had so much bad luck because Ju Rui spawned out of nowhere and literally was so cold to Rui, but once he found out his feelings for him he couldn’t hold back, I was also bawling my eyes out once they got separated from the fight between Ju Rui and Zhang Teng. Next couple is my favorite one which is my fave Ai Di and Chen Yi. I don’t know why, but I’m obsessed with Ai Di he’s so funny and was so real when he was wearing that oversized hoodie and swinging the sleeves around. Also when Chen Yi was literally so in love with Ai Di once he realized that he was gone. Also those scenes were a chefs kiss because it was preformed very well. Also when Ai Di was little red riding hood he was so pretty and adorable in the behind the scenes when he sent the photo to the guy to plays Chen Yi and he ran there to see him. Also those guest roles of the Beloved in the house, plus and minus, and the history 3: make our days count was so surprising that once they popped on my screen I was screaming because I was so surprised. Anyways I’m so sorry that you might have to read this much, but that shows how good this show is, like I was never bored throughout my whole time watching this series. I do wish for a season two or another show for the couples, but other than that I really recommend this series and I definitely think you won’t regret watching this.
