definitely ajin!!!
first i honestly thought it was like hannibal due to the sculpture reels i saw. then i started watching ep 1 and read a bit of the summary and i though oh its like tokyo ghoul. which it is slightly similar to.
and all in all also similar to franz kafka's metamorphosis ( everyone please read this once before dying)
but after all it was most similar to ajin!!!
ofc the storylines are different.
in connect, " connects" are still more of a urban legend and not yet world wide known, except govt organizations , where as in ajin, world knows about ajin people's existence and are being hunted but not as severely like tokyo ghoul.
our MC in both the series cope and survive with their keen intellect and logical skills to save themselves/find their whole body. accompanied by a friend

GOOOOD lord absolutely . !!
i think parasyte is definitely on a more understanding the "alien" and a lot of apathetic connected to empathic subtext and observations and ingeneral deeply psychological
where as connect is definitely a thriller horror . but youll definiitely enjoy both

As the human race deals with murders all over the world, a high-school student with a parasite living as his right hand discovers the truth.

Both dramas involve people with superpowers living on the run or hiding. In both there are organizations who are after the leads.
Apart from that the thriller and gore vibes are kind of similar... although connect is way too much gorier....
Moving has better plot progression and more characters and good character development...
Personally I prefer Moving more...

In both there is ML that has insane self-healing power. Aside from that they're very different. Connect is dark crime drama and IATYYATS is romantic comedy with mystery twist.

the main character's body changes after an incident/ accident. the main lead tries to control the changes that are happening to him. maintain his sense of self as the changes don`t just effect his body but his mentality too.

both about an organ that the main character receives which connects the donor to the recipient.

Both stories about guys with powers. Both guys get the powers through experiments by big organizations. Both of them are short dramas the will likely have a part 2 that will dive more into how the protagonists deal with a larger scale of things, such as protecting their own kind. LUCA is easier on the eyes and there is not much body horror or anything, unlike in connect. Don't watch connect if you are of faint heart, but LUCA is fine, it barely has any horrifying scenes.

Both are demi-humans and have inhuman abilities and strength, both are also great to watch. I recommend part 2 of the witch too.

Similar plot where main character is in a sort of limbo where they have insight into the enemy.
They use their human and more monstrous side together.

A man is kidnapped and one of his eyes removed by a gang of organ hunters; his eyes was transplanted into body of a serial killer; the unwilling donor now has terrible visions as he witnesses terrifying attacks on the residents of Seoul.

I'm surprised no one recommended this yet. This has so many similarities with "All of us are dead" and are both great watch and keep you at the edge of your seat if you're into this genre.

This movie was so damn scary, violent, gory and frustrating, I still liked it because of the "monster" whom annihilates everyone on his way. Not saying "Connect" has similar plot, but the friend of Irang made me think of this movie: they're both merciless when killing villains.
