Ok this was really cute

Forget everything I said. I like Ida now. They should have dropped that bigoted-ass teacher into the nearest lake while he was drunk, I'm sorry, they were too nice to him. And also report him to the principal.

Five Stars

In my opinion this episode showed that this is more than a fluffy funny drama. They talk about important topics and I just love love love this supportive friend group! I love that Ida is standing up for Aoki and his relationship, but also that Aoki is able to stand up for himself. My heart is freaking melting. Also the scene with the explanation for the hand holding scene was super super cute! I love how it's shown that they become closer and closer each episode. It's not too rushed, but also not too slow. They learn to understand each other in such a lovely way.

Five Stars

My favorite episode as I love the ways that Aoki tries to brush off the hurt and all of his friends tell him that no, that IS a big deal and the teacher should be ashamed. I also love Ida being fully prepared to fight with a teacher for his bf.

Ida Owned this Episode

Ida always has this quietness about him where you don't really know what he's feeling or thinking. This episode really changed all of that. He really showed up for Aoki even going so far as to offering to confront the homophobic teacher. He is slowly and surely falling more and more in love with Aoki without even realizing it. His offer in the end for the teacher to join them for ramen showed his understanding of the situation that without knowledge the teacher would never be able to change his mind about Aoki's relationship with the teacher and Aoki and Ida's relationship. This was a superbly acted episode that had me crying over the trials that the two of them face in their relationship. I really thought this was going to be another camp Japanese BL and this episode showed that this will not be the case at all.
