When a Vampire meets a terrible script
A supernatural based BL series is rare and hence was interested to see this one but alas! I was dissapointed. This series is about a dying vampire (Kim Jun Ho) who needs someone with pure blood to save his life although that remedy would turn him into a mortal. Enter fellow student (Choi Min Hyun) who can save his life but might die in the process. Will Kim Jin Ho take the risk of killing someone he loves to save his own life?
This premise sounds promising and could have been directed in a manner where every episode ends on a cliff-hanger like;
1. Kim meets Choi and later realises he is pure blood and that peaks his interest
2. He pursues Choi after learning that he can only be saved when Choi gives his blood willingly
3. While in pursuit to make Choi fall for him, Kim instead starts developing feelings for Choi
4. Choi learns Kim is a vampire but doesn't care as he is not aware of his true motives and is now in love with him
5. Choi finds out that he is pure blood and the reason behind his parents death
6. Choi starts hating vampires and stays clear off Kim. Meanwhile, he is also informed about Kim's state and the reason for his punishment
7. Time is running out for Kim and Choi offers to help save his life
8. Kim doesn't want to harm Choi and finally sacrifices himself
Its not that these elements were not shown in the series but it was not fleshed out at all. We in fact are introduced to other characters making the storyline more and more boring as its going into tangents and is turning incoherent. All this on top of sub-par acting by both the leads made it a chore to finish this series.
Another Korean BL series suffering from terrible plot that leaves us with more questions and this time it didn't even have the advantage of good acting. Give this one a miss if you want as there is not much entertainment value.

Heart breaking
The journey was so amazing. It was a different plot with supernatural storyline( i think they couldn't convey what they wanted to portray). We can guess what will be the end, through the plot itself because if one want to survive, then the other have to sacrifice his life. But that pain and feelings they delivered perfectly. I cried alot. The actor's nailed their character. Their chemistry is unimaginable. That kiss from the last episode will surely give you butterflies, not at all awkward and one of the best kiss from k drama bl. Their story was cute, and they didn't put another in danger at any circumstances . But that was not enough for them to stay together. I sincerely expect for season 2. I felt some part of the story a little bit odd and incomplete but apart from that its amazing. Watch it guys, you'll not regret if you are interested in vampire love story. Was this review helpful to you?
It was also the best Korean BL chemistry I've seen. Kim Ji Woong and Yoon Seo Bin had great chemistry and portrayed their characters very convincingly. Even the kiss scenes were more convincing than in other Korean BL mini dramas because they didn't shy away from anything and gave it their all.
Also, can I just say, wow, Kim Ji Woong, what a gorgeous human!

Bingewatching drama
Really worthy, despite the number of eps. BL's kdrama are really underrated in terms of potential, but the result here is anyway a good emotional story. The leads are charming in their own way and the relationship between them is cute and lovely. I loved even the mean character cause his background plot with one of them gave more meaning to the sense of longing between the main characters. A really good drama heartfelt but not heavy, funny, cute even when the feelings are drifting towards loneliness and sadnessWas this review helpful to you?
It just nice... I guess sooo..
Well I'm shock about seobin. Not really, I mean when I watch this I don't realized that was seobin. I already miss him, last I saw him is when he do live with youngjae it's was cute, and yeah this drama came up. Well, it's nice haha. And jiwoong is a nice actor mustly when he have to do headache act, I just think he great, that's all. Anjir apa lagi ya, gabisa nge kritik gue. The womans act it's nice too, this is her first drama and she do well. Don't forget about the villains (?) He doing great about the character, it's not that easy. Thank-you for the support roles too you guys did great. Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best KBL out there
I can see that we are already heading to that direction where BL in Korea will as good as the usual kdrama. With enough support and budget, they can produce a good quality series. There's no doubt with that.
Hoping that all of the KBL will have their longer version of the series especially this one since the story is very good.

10/10

The ending was so sad?
SPOILER ALERT (A bit):Writing this review 2 years later bc I remember the existence of MyDramaList So, I watched this series a whole while back and to tell you this series was 100Million/10, it IS!!!!!
The connection between the main leads were OUTSTANDING, the whole series made me giggle all through, but the ending was so sad ? WHY DID HE, Mr. Hot Vampire HAVE TO DIEIIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIEIIEIEIIEIEIE and Leave Mr. Hot Vampire's boyfriend alone ?
But don't worry, the two main leads acted in another bl together as the main couple, Roommates of Poongduck 304, and it ended smoothly so it's all good ?
The series' plot was so beautiful, and this series actually got me interested in supernatural series in general and all through, I've LOVED THEM!!!!! LOVE THE ACTORS SO MUCH, I giggle watching the BTS (not the K-pop Boy-band/Group) of the kiss scenes, to tell you I love this series, the actors even more, I LOVE THEM!!!!!
100% recommend, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

Better love story than Twilight?
I’m not sure what I was expecting when I started watching, but whatever it was, I ended up with the complete opposite - not complaining though.Honestly speaking, the romance genre needs at least an additional 3 years of a break from vampires. We truly saw it all. That said, I have to appreciate the supernatural/fantasy elements in k-bls, which are usually focused on the more realistic, often high school scenarios. As much as the vampires are cliche in romance, they are something fresh and fun in BLs.
Don’t let the synopsis fool you, it’s more angsty than sweet, and hardly enough blood was spilled to call it “bloody”. Still, the stakes were rather high and they made me curious about the ending of the show.
Not gonna lie, I did not like either of the main characters. Choi Min Hyun was too much of a lost puppy and Kim Jun Ho did not stand out at all. Lucky they both grew on me with each episode I have seen. Min Hyun still had that innocent feel to him, but he grew a backbone, while Jun Ho grew a whole personality sprinkled with angst.
The chemistry between the male leads was decent. I did not really feel many sparks, but the tone down feeling actually fits the story more.
Strangely, acting wise, I was far more convinced during the emotional scenes, compared with the daily, less demanding ones. The whole cast seemed a bit stiff at the beginning, but the acting got better with every episode. I especially liked Moon Ji Hoo. We don’t get villains in k-bls often, and for sure not the ones who deliver good performance.
Can’t talk about the production without talking about the glowing eyes - please stop. Giving him blue lenses and slightly enhancing the color post-production would be enough. His eyes were glowing so bright he could use them as a flashlight.
That said, except for that small detail I did not have any complaints. It wasn't a groundbreaking production, but nothing stood out in a negative way either.
While the songs are nice, they do fit the “generic k-bl” category. I feel like most soundtracks could be easily mixed between them and no one would notice or mind. The best title was for sure Sway’s Dream - amazing vocals, great melody, nice lyrics.
Overall, good for a binge watch. Kept me interested enough to finish, but did not exactly evoke any intense emotions.
