CUTE,FLUFFY,CHILDHOOD TO ADULT WITH A HOT SURPRISE AT THE END
This is going to be short and short so here we go.Everytime i get traumatized by a drama,I try to find something
that will cleanse my brain palate and will warm my heart no matter
how cute and childish it is.And this was the best candite.
Nothing original here, same old highschool, childhood to adulthood.
where the leads grow up together, its like a lighter version of Go Ahead
And When i fly towards you.
What I really liked was the ML.He had a commanding chemistry even though
It was met by FL natural butterfly character that had a personality of a 12 yr
But he kept it grounded and loved her as she was and protected and cared for
her alot.
He gave us a surprise of very hot scenes,we didnt know we needed.
For those who knew the actor from the k-pop idol group SEVENTEEN were
shocked to see how he managed these scenes ,even though he is know to be
of a quiet nature so I would really wish he can do more acting.
You could see how he helped the FL to be comfortable in her own skin.

"Exclusive Fairytale: A Delightful and Charming Childhood Friends-to-Lovers Tale"
Whether you're a fan of Jun from SEVENTEEN or Zhang Miao Yi from "When I fly towards you" (WIFTY), this drama will captivate you, provided you approach it with an open mind. Some have compared it to WIFTY and faced a bit of difficulty in doing so. However, I consider myself fortunate to compartmentalize each drama in its own world. Here's everything I adored about this show:Firstly, the parents, especially the moms, are absolutely adorable as they play cupid, rooting for the main characters to fall in love. It's heartwarming to witness their efforts.
Secondly, the kids portraying Xia Tao and Ling Chao in their childhood flashbacks were incredibly cute. Watching them grow from babies to adorable toddlers added a special charm to the story.
Despite initial concerns about Zhang Miao Yi's chemistry with Jun, who just came off WIFTY, they surprisingly complemented each other perfectly. There was a particular scene where they played charades together to get a discount, and their synchronization was so seamless that it felt like they shared a single brain cell.
As the story progresses, particularly from Episode 20 onwards, things get heated and their chemistry reaches a whole new level. Hearing Jun say, "Time for class," even if the subtitles weren't perfectly accurate, had a profound impact on me. It further proved that Zhang Miao Yi is a talented actress who can connect well with various male leads.
In essence, "Exclusive Fairytale" is a delightful Cdrama that is stress-free and filled with camaraderie. The 24 episodes progress smoothly, making it an enjoyable watch for anyone seeking a heartwarming and engaging series.

Umm, a nice youth romance drama . .
I usually try to be clever with my title but honestly, I can’t think of anything witty to say about this drama. This show is firmly placed in the middle of the BFF to Lover genre. Nothing wrong with that and it is a staple of youth dramas. However, for that reason, it is hard to stand out from the crowd. Yes, the romance is sweet and the chemistry goes up a notch once they amp up the skinship. However, it is also very tropey. All the standard issue cliches are there. Most of the side characters are from central casting and I’m thankful that there is no truly evil antagonist.
Their time in high school is filled with the usual teenager issues and they are just background noise most of the time. Thing does get more interesting as they approach the college entrance exam and enter college. However, I’m in two minds about the FL’s role. Yes, she is cute and fun loving, but she also feels ditsy. She does calm down towards the end, but it took a long time. On the other hand, the ML is just so serious from go to whoa. He is fun to watch when he gets jealous but otherwise, he is a bit beige. He does get more animated once the romance starts in earnest though. This is an issue with the ensemble cast. The performances are solid but they are fairly predictable and onenote. You don't sense any deeper emotions.
I would say the last few episodes are the best. Having said that, I do find the breakup of the BFF’s relationship to be over the top and unnecessary. Especially when you consider it lasted for 20 months and the whole misunderstanding was resolved so quickly. It just feels like they needed a time skip and a source of angst so they drew the short straw. Better them than the OTP, I suppose.
I could have scored this show slightly higher but after just finishing Hidden Love, this show does pale in comparison. It does everything competently and all the boxes are ticked. It is an easy watch and harmless, fluffy fun but that’s about it. There are better examples of this genre out there.

Good one
It was a pleasant and gentle drama, devoid of complicated plots or intense love-hate dynamics. Instead, it focused on the enduring bond between a boy and a girl who grew up together and stayed together in the future. However, one aspect that left me curious was the absence of scenes their child. Only had shown glimpses of their kid which was his voice, a little cuteness would add if they add the scenes of their childWas this review helpful to you?
A very light, easy going drama with no big problems just a fun life
This is very light with no tension or big dramas. Just a fun life no major troubles. It felt relatable and realistic in a way, how like they were interecting and just living their life. Minding their own business. It was fun and refreshing watch. If you wanna take a break from a tense or heavy drama, then this drama is it. Absolutely loved it! I loved their acting too, they definitely portrayed their characters really well. Everyone in this drama had great chemistry while acting togther, it was really really fun and entertaining. It's got a very nice storyline too. There isn't a very thick or tense plot but the screenplay's really good. I enjoyed every scene. Loved the way the script was written. The music was very lively! And the OST perfectly suited each scene throughout. Overall, Great easy going, fun, youth drama with no major plots but a very entertaining watch that always keeps you in giggles! ????????©️????Was this review helpful to you?

Cute, comedic series
I started this series after watching Zhang Miao Yi in When I Fly Towards You, and put it on hold a couple of times in favor of other dramas. Having finished those, I came back to this one, and finally completed it. In just a few words, it’s a fun, feel-good story. I felt Miao Yi showcased her talents here more so than in WIFTY. Her comedic timing is pretty impressive! As a first-time actor, I felt Jun really put himself out there and gave it his all; matching her skill and experience perfectly. And those kisses! ??Pretty bold — in a good way. I knew nothing about him or Seventeen when I started this, but I can see why he has such a big fan base. He has the both the looks and the skills to pull off a role like Ling Chao.So if you’re looking for some “Awww” cute moments, or to laugh, j or blush; then give this one a try. It has plenty of all of that.

A lighthearted pleasure!
This drama is really a breath of fresh air! Even though the leading couple bickers a lot throughout their high school years, this drama is not about a hate/love relationship. The synopsis describes it well: “A love story revolving around childhood sweethearts, Ling Chao and Xiao Tu, who journey through youth and share experiences in sadness and joy together.” The cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and, every one of these characters had its own endearing qualities. The leading couple, each on its own and together, is a fantastic pair to watch and once they become a couple, they were adorable and delightful; their chemistry as friends and lovers is fantastic. Overall, main and supporting cast did great; the leading couple’s parents are a riot and so much fun together. Overall, if the viewer is looking for a lighthearted pleasure, this is the drama to watch. Enjoy it!Was this review helpful to you?

Was this review helpful to you?

Very pleasantly surprised
I watched this in two days, if that tells you anything. If you are looking for something fluffy and easy to watch, give this a try. There's nothing new and groundbreaking here, other than the fact that this show bypasses so many of the tropes that I hate. I do have to say that the tendency to make the FL a bad student is overused. The dubbing was terrible in places (their mouths weren't even moving with the words), but other than that, this show had me smiling, laughing, and I even cried a little.Actors - Jun as Ling Chao. He was pretty one-note, as I've come to expect from most of the MLs in these types of dramas. There wasn't much acting required, really, since his character was pretty much the same throughout. His characterization was a terrific foil for the ebullient Xiao Tu (played by Zhang Miao Yi). She was outgoing and friendly, with a ready smile that absolutely lights up the screen. She is made for these school dramas, she's so tiny and youthful.
Enjoyed:
1) Main actors and their chemistry. I love that they'd known each other for years, more like brother and sister. It was fun to watch their relationship and watch them try to navigate the uncharted territory of their newly discovered feelings for one another. There was a lot of handholding and there were quite a few kisses, which started out as the eyes-wide-open fish kisses, but they definitely got better. I loved how well he knew her - giving her a bouquet of snacks rather than flowers, because she was constantly eating.
2) I thought the constant snacking of the FL was cute, I don't know why.
3) Second couple. Here's where things usually fall apart for me. They tend to have a second couple that is extremely irritating. I loved this couple. Granted, their breakup was pretty ridiculous, but their scenes were touching and made me cry. Again, their relationship grew from friendship. The relationships of both couples felt very organic to me and made sense.
4) No triangle to speak of. There was a girl that liked him throughout, but I think even she knew she was deluding herself. I appreciated that they had her be caught up in the fantasy of liking him, yet she wasn't trying to break them up all the time.
5) Parents that didn't disapprove of their relationship. Her dad had a hard time of letting her go, but other than that, they were supportive.
6) Friendships. The friendships of these characters, from birth all the way through school and into their careers, was special. I was just caught up in the fact that there were no overly irritating characters!
7) A surprising antagonist (that didn't go on too long).
8) We got to see a bit of marriage and kids.
9) I thought the scenes at the end on the carousel, from children through to their wedding, was lovely.
10) The music, that stayed in the background for the most part, went with the show well. Every so often you'd hear Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star or some other music reminiscent of childhood.
11) The time skip. It was used just to move the storyline at all, and there was no drama associated with it.
12) No stupid breakups for the main couple.
I liked this show for all the things it DIDN'T have, I guess. It's one of those shows where there's not a lot of drama, and really not a lot going on at all, we are just privileged to be able to watch them in their daily lives. An easy watch.

Delightfully Sweet Romance Drama
Exclusive Fairytale is a sweet and delight romance drama- I wouldn’t say it’s a rom-com per se. It’s a genuine portrayal of friendship, love and relationships. The main leads deliver outstanding performances, love both the characters- bringing their chemistry to life on the screen.Thankfully the drama didn’t have any unnecessary villains or melodramatic twists. Instead, it focuses on the pure essence of a sweet romance. It’s shows the journey from young-mature love..once they got together there were steamy kisses the last few episodes … it’s lovely to see the couple staying committed without any needless misunderstandings or breakups.
Excellent on-screen chemistry between the main leads &
if you're in the mood for a feel-good romance that will leave you with a smile, and into soft, sweet and cuddly romances this is for you.
