Mysterious Lotus Casebook (2023)

Although the Mysterious Lotus Casebook (MLC) is not out yet, they have a similar plot about a powerful character that disappears; then re-appear after a period of time to fight calamity. Both dramas have the same ML and includes a level of bromance (From what I saw in the trailer). If you like one definitely give the other one a chance (when it comes out)

Friendship that trying to seek justice and to help others li liahuan is like same to wei wu Xian because both of them did go truth a lot and a difficult time and for how both wang yibo and xiao zhan was investigate i can say that to find the truth of who is behind of everything becuase wei yi was not believe that he is the one that kill those people i mean that was true i was not the one so i can say that even cheng yi and jeng fang and wang yibo and xiao zhan the investigates was difference but still investigating.

In both, two skilled male leads associate with each other. One is severly injured and there supposedly is not any way to save him. In both, one male lead is very knowledgeable about martial art sects and matters ( Li Lianhua et Zhou Zishu). Also, there is a treasure everyone wants to get.
In WOH, the ultimate rival of the male lead is the other male lead but in MLC, the ultimate rival is the third male lead ( Di Feisheng).
MLC is about several cases connected to each other because one male lead is a detective whereas we can't say that there are cases in WOH even if the male leads investigate about some things.

I think both features really good friends who considered each other as family ( or "soulmates" in WOH from the words of the male leads ).

Sick/weak ML whose a genius mastermind and hiding under an alias? Friends who are skilled in martial arts and have to protect him? A love interest that cannot be, but mutual respect? Good story? Solving cases and undoing evils of the past? Check check and check!! While Nirvana in Fire is an older drama, it's a cult classic for a reason. If you loved the dynamic between Li Xiangyi/Lianhua and friends, you will definitely grow to love Mei Changsu

Sword Snow Stride is similar to Mysterious lotus casebook because both habe following aspects.
Wuxia genre, heavy sword fighting skills, martial arts scenes, cunning protagonist, genius and strategic male lead, heir male lead, warrior male lead, light romance

Same actor playing the main lead and aired on the same platform (iQiyi) and there are strong action/fight scenes.

If you enjoy wuxia-setting mystery bromances, look no further. Mysterious Lotus Casebook has more emphasis on the bromance while Ancient Detective has more focused mysteries, but both are visually stunning and thoughtful shows with fleshed out casts and enjoyable writing.

Deals with mysteries and case solving by a clever ML. Has side kicks but more on the Wuxia side but similar.

Bromance between 2 male leads. Detective type scenarios.
Even though it's not a wuxia, the vibe of this show is the same as MLC.

One of the leads hide their identity in both dramas because of their past incidents - MLC it is ML and in TD it is FL
In case of MLC it is two male leads and bromance/friendships, in TD it FL and ML and romance also friendships as well.

Both have a likeable gang of characters solving cases.

Young blood's cases are more engaging and consequential whereas MLC's feel more like props. MLC is a higher budget production, though YB is arguably better in most areas such as plot, characterization, and acting.

For non-native speakers, MLC may be more accessible and an easier breezier watch.
