the soundtrack for this episode was amazing. it matched every scene pretty well. i honestly don't remember any of the songs from past episodes but this episode had at least 3 songs lmao. i guess they were waiting for this haha. this episode was a bit too happy considering everything that is happening. i am scared for what's to come
Palm's mother is a real character, so how ironic that she turned out to be the sane adult. everything she told Palm, after finding out why he was there & who Nueng was - i was like Preach!!! at least she got some sense - not that it's gonna help Palm, dude a goner - he head over heels infatuated with Nueng. heck anyone saying "...u only show me ur good side..." is hooked - cause from where i'm sitting, Nueng totally toxic when dealing with Palm. *********************************************************************so as much as it was light & fun watching this ep, Nueng really is a walking disaster waiting to happen - his life is a mess & the baggage he is carrying make him emotionally a mess as well - this situation aint something to scoff at - ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************i am crossing my fingers he hasn't lost his mother, cause that Uncle wont let him reach his 19th B-Day. & how long can either live in hiding without an income - Palm's mother aint rolling in it. so idk where this plot is going will have to wait & see - we only at the half way mark still 6 ep's more to go - hope this aint a tragedy (getting tired of hearing about the weaver girl and the cowherd, hope it aint foreshadowing>﹏<).
I am hoping my queen didnt die because i lowkey love her. Nuengdiao def has a thing for palm and i am glad it isnt like a oh bam i am suddenly gay because some hot guy gave me attention. Because he had a thing for ben i think his name is. Nueng trust people way to easily and thats going to kick his ass in future epeisodes i already know. Uh palm has a thing for him. I can tell by the way he looks at him, but he is trying to keep it professional because falling in love with your boss never ends well. Okay bye!
After all these weeks, I finally found the time to binge-watch the episodes of this series I haven't watched yet. So that I can watch "Our Skyy 2" without the fear of spoilers. Nueng is probably living the worst moment of his life, in my opinion even worse than when is dad died. He has no idea what is going on, whether is mom is still alive or not, the place he is staying... He is completely lost and can at times react harshly even though he doesn't really mean to. Palm is a little lost too. He is following orders and plans created for this exact situation and he is doing is best, but it is so obvious that he is at least a little bit lost. We even got to meet Palm's mom, which apparently abandoned him when he was five, and that's a big deal... Together they are a good match for all this surviving things though... Good! If it weren't for all the mess, this episode gave me all the tropes I like. The "honey moon" by the sea, the beautiful moments at the beach at sunset/night, the market date. It gave me EVERYTHING!
What should I say about this episode?? Well, I got it; it gives the feeling of a magical summer romance with a deepening feeling between Nueng and Palm. Mam's character is funny and a much-needed character to be introduced to lighten the whole vibe of the series.
Why are they so chill running around on the beach? Like such an alternate universe thing. No feeling of running away from danger at all. Just vacation vibes away from a minor incident.
I thought this Episode gave great character development. For example when Nueng points out that Palm always sees everything in regargs to him as his "Job" inste-ad of being honest about how he feels. Also the OST in this Episode was perfect, really underlined the different scenes and what our characters would be feeling in that moment. It reminded me of call me by your name with that warm summer teenage romance kind of feeling.
