Best, healthiest, and most pure BL/young queer drama I've seen so far
Must watch for the whole family. The chemistry of the main couple is so gentle and genuine, and they have such fun and playful moments ? The storyline is just light-hearted and playful yet has heart-warming moments that left me tearing up at parts ? The love and camaraderie of the friends is infectious and it was an absolute joy to watch, paired with the BEST SOUNDTRACK for a Thai BL I've seen so far. If you're looking for some pure fluff and wanna feel 14 again, this is it!Commendations to Fourth & Gemini, the rest of the cast, P'Aou and the rest of the writing and production crew for an absolutely stellar project. I will rave and rewatch this series for years to come ? And when I'm not watching it, I'm listening to the OST on repeat!

This is the biggest surprise for me as an avid BL fan
I have watched a lot of BL from different countries and I'm getting tired of school themed BL specially from Thailand and I watch this out of curiousity. I am ready to be done with the characters like I am used to but to my surprised I love how adorable the characters are, not just the lead couple but everyone. I also like the comedy which I'm not fond most of the time in other series because comedy is a cultural thing so I don't get it sometimes. There's a lot of official soundtrack in this series which I love and all of them are good with very meaningful lyrics. In 12 episodes, this series was able to tackle topics about love, friendship, family and dreams effectively. I don't know if someone who watch this series in one go could feel the same feeling as me who watched this while airing but I wish you could also feel the pure joy that I experienced while watching this and on how my tiredness are gone from the whole week because of the happiness it brings to me every friday night, this is my happy pill, a series that I will treasure and surely rewatch when I'm down. I'm so thankful !Usually, I don't take highschool relationships seriously because they are young and there's a lot of things that could happen but I believe that Tinn and Gun could go on forever because they have the healthiest relationship that I ever seen, other couples that are older than them tried. So I recommend this to everyone to spread love, happiness and good vibes.

Thailand really knocked it out of the ballpark with this one!
First off, this was an amazing series. From the music to the deep meaning of each song too. Absolutely beautiful with multiple couples. No evil characters and just really innocent high school love. I was a little skeptical at first of Tinn’s mother because she seemed like she was the type of mother that didn’t want to lose “face”, but I was proven wrong thankfully. My School President is in my top 5 BL list of all time! The story was simple and cute and the characters were just so love able. Fourth and Gemini did an amazing job as Gun and Tinn as did the rest of the cast. For new actors, you couldn’t even tell that they were new. It was just natural. They really performed like seasoned actors. I am looking to see more of these actors in the future! This was a series that really just captured my heart. To describe it as “amazing” doesn’t even do it justice. I will definitely rewatch this series again in the future! Absolutely, 1000/10 for me! Thailand, you have a real DIAMOND of a series with this one! Well done! If you haven’t done so already, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch this drama series!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Really recommend
I really like this series. It's really not a waste that I have been waiting for this series since GMMTV 2022 like a year. Even though there might not be lots of story in this series, like it's just about Tinn liking Gun and trying to flirt him but it still kept me watching every single episode. The music was very great, there's no many songs that kept me not feeling bored of the song. The cast was also really great, I fell in this series because of Gemini, he's super handsome. For who never watch this, I totally recommend, it's really good. Was this review helpful to you?

Defied my expectations
Based on the premise alone, I didnt even put this on my anticipated watchlist. I was bored and had nothing to watch and that's the reason I gave it a go. When I watched episode 1, it didnt pull me in at first. I even took a pause halfway through episode 1. I stepped away and if I didnt go back that wouldve been tragic because toward the second half of episode 1 the potential was there. I was sold after I completed episode 1. On paper, it seemed like a typical school BL and quite frankly the musical aspect to it detered me at first (before I even watched it) because if not done right it could break the show. But it did the opposite. This drama takes what seems typical for the genre and gives it a fresh perpective in a literal sense as well when the character viewpoint flips and takes a turn. This is one of my top BLs. It really is that good. It captures young love so well that when I see Gemini and Fourth, a smile is automatic. I cant help but also feel nostalgic when I see them as I remember how it feels to be at that age. By no means is it perfect. The show does an annoying thing by teasing a kiss that doesnt actually happen until the very last episode. Which it's fine if the teasing happens once or twice, but they constantly teased a kiss which got frustrating because it felt consciously done as they tried to think of new ways to block the kiss. It got to a point where it felt self-aware of what they were doing. It basically got reduced to fan service in those moments and it ended up being distracting even though admittedly those moments were cute, but Id rather not have it. Overall a great show that makes you feel happy inside and totally rewatchable. Both Gemini and Fourth are great actors. Fourth especially stood out. I would absolutely 100 percent watch anything they put out now. It makes me sad that its over since every Friday it was a happy treat for myself to take a break at the end of the week to unwind and watch an unproblemic show with a whole bunch of pure adorableness. Was this review helpful to you?

Trying to convince y'all to watch this
This is quite possibly the best BL I have ever watched, and I have watched quite a bit. I was skeptical about watching this at first since I typically find high school plots dry and boring. However, it has been circulating around my fyp on tiktok for a while, and when I saw their Just Being Friendly parody, I thought why not. This was around when episode 9 just aired, and now I wish I started when they aired episode 1. It's just so adorable and heart warming.Story/Relationship:
It might seem boring when you just read the summary, but I promise you it isn't. The execution and development was so well done. It was fast paced but not at the same time. I felt like so much happened in one episode, but it didn't feel rushed. Everything was resolved within one episode, so it did not feel frustrating. The plot fell more on the fluffier side rather than angst, but it had its moments. The fluff was not overdone or so overbearing to the point of nonsense or dullness. It had just the right amount, a perfect balance. I also liked how they had a clear goal, and the main plot didn't involve cliche events. It wasn't driven by homophobia, miscommunication, parental conflicts, or third parties. Their development was also very clear. Although they seemed like typical silly, dumb high school boys at the beginning, you can sense their maturity as the plot progressed.
Their relationship was also gradual. Yes, they didn't get together early on, but it felt like they did. All they needed was a confirmation. I loved how Gun realized his feelings early in the story. Most characters painted as naive or clueless don't get the hint until really late in the story that it becomes annoying. Other than the main relationship, we were able to see side couples that were also adorable and enjoyable.
Tinn and Gun, wow I love their love so much. Their relationship is so healthy. It was filled with mutual understanding, trust, loyalty, respect, and fondness. Tinn is the greenest green glowing flag you will ever encounter. He uplifts and tries his best to support Gun in his dreams without demanding anything back. He essentially finds opportunities and sets the stage for Gun and then allows him to go through with the tasks on him own, this way it doesn't take away his sense of accomplishment for reaching his goal. I find this extremely important because at the end of the day, if someone does everything for you, the achievement loses all meaning if you didn't go through the process yourself. Also, he never emotionally blackmailed or guilt tripped Gun with all the things he did for him to get him to like him back or date him. Gun's emotions were developed on its own as he could see and feel that Tinn truly loved him. As time went on, that love became mutual and so did their support for each other. Everybody deserves a person that loves them unconditionally, and that's what these two showed. I want a Tinn in my life so badly.
Aside from romantic relationships, I loved their friendships and bonds with their parents. Each friend had a chance to shine, and their support for each other was so endearing, especially Tiw and his absolute support for his bestie's love life. As for their parents, I liked how they showed different types of parenting. Gun's mom gave him her full support and did not restrict him in anything he decided to pursue. That's why he was able to tell her anything because he knew that he wouldn't get judged or admonished. Tinn's mom on the other hand was the typical tiger mom. She was more strict, protective, and had a set of expectations for him. It could be shown through the way Tinn was more timid when wanting to share or ask anything of his mom. However, I was so glad that they did not make Tinn's mother a villain. From the beginning, although she was more stern towards Tinn and it took a bit more convincing, she never restricted him from doing anything that he wanted to do nor did she get upset when he did not do things her way. Despite these vastly different parenting techniques, the show showed us that a mother's love is unconditional. Whether they were strict or more care free, both mothers obviously cared for their child and wanted them to live in a world that would only give them happiness and security.
Acting:
Gemini and Fourth did so well. If I didn't know they were rookies, I wouldn't have been able to tell. For a lot of BL shows, I noticed that their touches and movements seemed awkward, especially their hugs. It just looked stiff in a way. However, the hugs, little touches, and stares between these two were top tier. I didn't sense any awkwardness at all, and all their hugs and conversations seemed so comforting and flowed well. I was honestly fine with no kiss, however, I was glad that they did because it literally embodied their characters' feelings for each other and depicted first, innocent love. The other cast members did a great job as well. The way they exaggerated their characters did not seem too fictional or off putting. It was very natural and befitting for high schoolers.
Music:
Nothing to say other than this show gave bangers. They ate. The songs were well placed, and the lyrics related to the scene that was happening. My favorite was when Tinn and Gun danced to Come Closer. The mood, the lighting, the dancing, the melody, and the way they looked at each other was perfect. Another honorable mention, Tinn's love song to Gun. I was obsessed with Hook as soon as I heard it. I found it so sweet when he said Gun wrote the song since it came from his heart, and his heart belonged to Gun.
Lighting/color:
This is an odd category, but I just wanted to point it out. The lighting on Gun when Tinn entered the room after he abandoned his interview opportunity with a doctor in favor of watching Gun perform was soooo well done. When Gun saw him as he performed, the lighting hit his eyes and it looked like his eyes were shining from happiness due to seeing Tinn. I just found that so adorable. The bright and vibrant color throughout the whole show was also something I liked. It really matched the light hearted and youthful atmosphere in the show.
Something I wished they expanded more on was Tinn's character and personal life. The show mainly depicted him as a boy in love and his goal to become his crush's boyfriend. I wanted to see more of his personality and career goals outside of Gun. However, I understand that they can only pack so much into a 12 episode drama. It would be nice to see, but I still love my adorable love struck idiot, Tinn.
All in all, I would give this an infinity/10 if possible. It had its second hand embarrassment moments, but it wasn't cringey and just showed that at the end of the day, they're kids. This was quite a long review, but I wanted to rant about why I love this show so much. I'm actually very nit-picky, and if there's something I don't like, I drop the show even if I'm more than half way done. I'm a sucker for romcoms, and this show hit all the points. You guys don't understand, this is literally my comfort drama. I've fully watched it at least 3 times, and I'm still entertained. Everybody has their own preferences and enjoy different genres more than others, so some might not like a light hearted storyline. However, everybody needs a little sweetness in their lives, and this show provides exactly that. So don't hesitate and give at least 3 episodes a try. The praise and popularity this show and the people involved got was well deserved.

Looking forward to future Gemini Fourth projects
I love Gemini and Fourth. I really do. And from MSP, I think they definitely have something good going for them. For new and inexperienced actors, their chemistry is way above average. BUT one thing’s clear to me – they are far from reaching their maximum potential in MSP.Unlike shows like 2moons or Star In My Mind, where one male lead is ultra cool and the other is a bit of a nerd, Gun and Tin’s characters both had their derpy moments. And unlike other shows where the tsundere male lead might be a bit of a ‘bully’ (in a bid to get the attention of their crush), Tinn spares no effort in helping Gun achieve his goals – even if it means putting himself second. This commitment towards setting up the person he loves for success is what makes Tinn such a likeable character.
Their romance is sweet and pure, reminding all of us about the exhilarating joys of first loves, crushes and confessions, and watching the process unfold is simply delightful.
I'm giving it an 8/10 because the first half was a 7, second half was a solid 8.5. Maybe this particular brand of humour (esp in the earlier episodes) was not really my thing, or perhaps the initial episodes didn’t have the punch I was looking for? Overall, MSP is a wholesome romance story, without toxic drama or horrible friends. All in all a perfectly decent show to watch.

High School Romance at its best!!!!
This show is honestly one of the best portrayals of a high school/young romance I have ever seen. Gemini and Fourth brought Tinn and Gun to life with such raw emotions and authenticity, even all of the supporting characters/actors brought something to the show whether it be humour or emotions. I like that this show was able to use its supporting characters to develop the relationship of the main characters as well as the character's own storyline. The script, directing and stylists really outdid themselves, everyone who was involved in the making process should be very proud that they were a part of creating this masterpiece. The soundtrack is phenomenal, with not a single skip which is so rare for OSTs these days, they don't overcomplicate the songs they just keep them simple and to the point which is why I think I have been listening to the soundtrack on repeat recently.
Finally, there was no unnecessary drama. Everything that happened helped with the development of the story and of the development of the characters, if there was any drama it was also solved so quickly which I love. Friendship was also portrayed brilliantly in this drama, there were ups and downs which just makes it feel so much more real.
Thank you My School President for the comfort you have brought me and all the laughs :)

MY WEEKLY SEROTONIN BOOST
Ah what can I say I absolutely love everything about this series!! It takes everyone back to their puppy love/high school crush days and just hits you with happiness every single episode! Seriously, this is one of the series where I didn't cringe or skip scenes where the actors were singing, the OSTs have been on repeat for me ever since this series started airing. I'm going to miss watching them so much!! There is no toxicity, no unnecessary drama, no forced pda etc.. I just love how the actors, writers and directors portrayed the freshness of first love through this series. Definitely would rewatch this sometime when I need something light and happy to watch! Was this review helpful to you?
a healing show
this is literally the cutest thai show i've ever seen, and i've seen many of them. "healing" is the word that defines my school president. the relationship between tinn and gun is so pure, and the actors did a really good job on making us believe the love that they feel for each other.i laughed, screamed, cried and cringed a little bit (but in a good way). it's just amazing, and heartwarming.
and about the soundtrack, all of them are SO TALENTED i enjoyed all the original tracks and the covers they did for this series. fourth just slayed.
fourth and gemini have a lot of future! i'm excited to see them in more projects.

* It's unbelievably charming, feel-good, and sincere; and while there are a few moments of pain, they never over-linger-- in the end, while there are some hardships, the show is ultimately kind to both the characters and the audience, and that's something we could all certainly use a little more of these days.
* It has the framework of a musical, but that framework has a light touch, and anyway the music that is featured not only has plot relevance, but is also actually good (!) (...well... aside from that one {mercifully short} rap battle in one of the episodes, LOL, but I'm pretty sure that was supposed to be hilaribad on purpose ?, so the point still stands).
* This show is legitimately laugh-out-loud funny. And while it can also occasionally be a little awkward/embarrassing (mainly just to showcase how unhinged the characters are ?), not only is the comedy genuine, it's never mean-- it makes you laugh *with* the characters much more than *at* them. (And you will be laughing with them A LOT, I can tell you... ??) (The occasional product placement is played up a bit over the top on purpose as well, to hilarious effect.)
* There is some realistic seriousness at just the right moments, which is all surprisingly moving (for example: One character's commentary on grief; the deeply sincere understanding and support the main couple gives to each other; and other various things that would be far too spoilery to list here), but it thankfully never dips into melodrama. The balance is just right.
* The show starts off with *TWO* unreliable narrator main characters (complete with imagination sequences), and you actually get to see through *both* perspectives very early on (no dragging out of the reveals!), which is a really fun dynamic. Yet they also know precisely when to taper that off-- the reliance on unreliable narration and imaginary scenarios only lasts exactly as long as it needs to to set up the characters' personalities and worldviews, and then it smoothly morphs into much more (yet still not 100%) omniscient framing, with just an occasional (though in exchange even *more* unhinged! ?) imagination sequence later on at exactly the right points. It all just works so darn well.
* Speaking of the 2 main characters: They have the dorkiest, sappiest, sweetest, and most utterly sincere and supportive and actually openly communicative (!) and healthy and wholesome romance ever-- and I LOVED IT. And Tinn, in particular, loves with such wholehearted unconditional devotion, and asking for literally nothing in return, that it's impossible (for both his love interest as well as us viewers!) to not adore him in response. ?
* The friends of the main characters are absolutely priceless (literally everyone's an idiot-- and that includes the 2 main characters as well!-- except ultimate wingman Tiw {and even he has his moments ?}, but they all really care about each other), and are actually rather nicely fleshed out, with very believable and strong friendship bonds (indeed, the friendship bonds are basically equal in importance to the romance{s}, which is a feature I really appreciate), subtle character arcs, and some hilarious/sweet romances of their own, which all feels quite relevant yet still never overpowers the main couple. (There's that perfect balance again!)
* Plus, along with the aforementioned great friendship group, the 2 main characters' parents are also fantastic.
* EVERYTHING that ALL of the characters say and do is... well, in-character-- meaning, everything that happens, from how they communicate to their actions, all make internal sense to the established narrative and their established characterization. (No dreaded random out-of-character moments for fake 'drama'? It's a miracle! ?)
* There are so many *excellent* (and satisfying!) subversions of standard romance tropes and pacing as well as audience expectations (in a very good way)! ?
* While there is obviously an overall story and plenty of continuous character progression, the episodes themselves are wonderfully self-contained/self-resolving, which to be honest is really refreshing (and helps contribute to the overall feel-good-ness of the show). And even with the to-be-expected cliffhangers in the last few episodes, the main conflict of each of those particular ep.'s are actually still dealt with inside that same ep., leaving only whatever the episode's secondary issue is as the cliffhanger hook.
* The acting is fantastic-- some of the best stuff was even completely improvised!-- and I was very impressed by it, especially considering the main actors' age and experience levels before going into this production. (This company just plain struck gold with Fourth and Gemini-- they're basically acting prodigies at this point, if what I've seen of them here and elsewhere is any indication, and their chemistry with each other + clear playful comfort acting together is outstanding.)
* While not high-budget, nor taking place in a setting/location that is conducive to what might normally be considered beautiful cinematography, it still looks good, and what the director and cinematographer(s) do with the resources they do have is great-- from the color theory to the use of barriers in frame (for example, see the characters' recreation of a music video in one of the episodes-- which uses crossing barriers as its premise, and which is made into an openly blatant parallel to their situations at the end of that episode-- then go back to the beginning and watch it again, looking at all the framing *before* it was made blatant, and you'll see that that same use of barriers had actually been there the whole time), etc.
* And finally (and most importantly!): ?THE ENTIRE ENDING ACTUALLY STUCK THE LANDING!! ? MEANING, THE HIGH QUALITY OF THE WRITING MIRACULOUSLY HELD STEADY ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE SHOW'S FINALE, FOR ONCE!!! ✊️✊️ There was *no* willful miscommunication, *no* random out-of-character left-turns, *no* ridiculous breakups or separations, *nothing* stupid thrown in merely for the sake of ~~dRAmA~~ without any logical foundation for it... *nothing inconsistent at all*!! I mean, please don't even get me started on the amount of times a shoddily-written ending has ruined a story (I could savage so many works of fiction for this in painful detail if someone gets me started on the topic ?), but that was thankfully *NOT* an issue here! ?? This show would deserve a trophy for even just that alone, but to have that be topping off everything else I've mentioned... give it a *crown.* ?
My School President was clearly created with a huge amount of love, from the writing to the acting to the production itself. And everything that I laid out in detail above just combined to make a basically perfect show.
This is an absolute gem-- and I'm so glad I watched it.
