About Youth (2022)

Music series about two boys. One boy plays in music band and another is rich and has strict parents. Poor boy has a secret crush on the rich because he had helped him in the past and he fell in love. Also poor boy's mother own a restaurant where rich guy likes to go.

Both are BLs focused on young men who want to be musicians, so both have great OSTs.
Both dramas are short and sweet.

Both deal with the weight of the expectations of others and the toll it takes to suppress parts of yourself to suit the people around you. Both have fraught familial relationships, though it's a bigger point in About Youth and not as heavy a focus in The Eighth Sense. They both have a nice, indie-style cinematography. The relationships are sweet and healing, both are about finding someone with whom you can find 'refuge'. They each have beautiful stories and a similar emotional weight and tone, though the Eighth Sense is definitely heavier overall. OSTs are a vibe.

The difference between About Youth & Youth/the newcomers is About Youth's from Taiwan ( ofc is LGBTQ Romance ) and Youth/the newcomers's China mainland ( ofc is Bromance because LGBTQ series in there getting banned ). That's it

both of them Bl dramas from Taiwan. Plot is different but vibes, sweetness and sincerity in the acting are the same

High school romance drama. Both are bls. They're not the only things they have as similarities of course. When you watch both of them, you can see, taste how is the feeling of falling in love step by step, like naturally

It gives the same vibe as About Youth, it makes you think and cry in the most beautiful way possible. Blueming left such big impact on me it's impossible to explain. About Youth made me to expirienced it all of it again in slightly different way but it left me broken with many thoughts, just like after watching Blueming.

Both Love Sick (Thai 2024) and About Youth (Taiwan 2022) are BL / LGBTQ+ School based dramas. Both involve music and the primary paired couple being friends that gets complicated as it develops into something more. Both are coming of age stories that showcase adolescence and navigating friendships and relationships.

I think this series is really similar because they love music & have great OSTs. They also have BLs story and goes by with music and be boyband together. And they had little angst story too( on second cp ) but ended up with good ending ( second cp being together at the end ). That's it:-)

- Both the series are cute and easy to watch

It heartwarming story and the character personally I thought kinda same. And the feeling I got from watching it same when watch this series.

Both dramas are similar as in falling in love at first sight.
If you like cute and sweet moments, this is definitely recommended!
They have the same author is HIStory, which is Lin Pei Yu.

Both Taiwanese BLs about first love. Lots of sweet scenes between leads with lingering camera angles/shots to capture love. Some expected BL tropes tossed in for comfort. Both have amazing OST so you find yourself watching opening/ending credits for all eps....and astute fans of either will notice one similar piece of background music and also locations/items (Taiwanese BLs famous for little Easter eggs like this to other series).

These are both 2 teen dramas where one of the main cast is confronted with controlling parents and has to face what that means for his future and well-being. Meanwhile, the other main cast comes to realize the pain under his smile and try to show him more of the joys of life.

However, At a Distance, Spring is Green is much more heavy content-wise.
