"Love Like the Galaxy": Stellar Drama of Love, Betrayal, Redemption, and Triumph!

Watching 'Love Like the Galaxy' was like embarking on an emotional rollercoaster with a side of epic fireworks. Zhao Lu Si and Wu Lei delivered performances that were nothing short of spectacular, making this drama an unforgettable masterpiece. It takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride through a galaxy of masterful acting and storytelling, breathtaking scenery, and secrets that unravel like a perfectly crafted mystery novel. The numerous awards that this drama earned are well deserved!

First off, Zhao Lu Si as Shaoshang deserves a standing ovation. Her portrayal was a masterclass in bringing a character to life— an emotional symphony. From her tough upbringing that had me reaching for tissues, to her rebellious streak that had me nodding along in solidarity or shaking my head, to her journey towards strength and maturity that had me cheering like a sports fanatic, Shaoshang’s journey was a wild ride, and Lu Si made sure we were there for every twist and turn. Honestly, I wanted to adopt her, give her a high-five, and ask for her skincare routine all at once. Lu Si, you’ve officially earned the top spot in my "Favorite Actresses Ever" list!

This was my first time watching Wu Lei, and wow, talk about a first impression! He flawlessly embodied the tormented yet magnetic Ling Buyi. It was nothing short of masterful. Wu Lei had me swooning, fearing, hating, and ultimately loving his character. His interpretation was a whirlwind of emotions—from making me swoon with his clumsy romantic gestures, to sending chills down my spine with his explosive portrayal of anger and revenge, teetering on the brink of insanity - instant goosebumps. Ling Buyi’s character growth was profound, making him one of the most compelling leads I’ve ever seen. Hold onto your hearts, people, because this talented actor will steal them with his mesmerizing performance. Wu Lei, consider me your newest fan!

The chemistry between Zhao Lu Si and Wu Lei? Absolute dynamite. These two matched each other's intensity in every scene, from their intense gazes to their expressive facial expressions, and the subtle physical nuances that spoke volumes of emotional depth that turn every scene into a visual sonnet of love and longing. They had me believing in love at first sight and falling deeply, madly in love right alongside them. Watching their love story unfold - from love at first sight, betrayal and forgiveness to deep emotional connection is as captivating as stargazing on a clear night.

Let’s not forget the supporting cast, who rounded out the story beautifully with their own character growth and intrigue. And can we give a shout-out to the best emperor ever? Hilariously memorable and perfectly cast!

Kudos to the directors and production team for delivering breathtaking scenery and unraveling secrets that had me shouting "Ah-ha!" as the plot twists unfolded. The political intrigue was handled masterfully, and watching the bullies get their just desserts was like being a cheerleader at the Super Bowl – go team!

The fighting scenes had me on the edge of my seat, gripping my popcorn like a lifeline. I've rewatched this entire drama multiple times, cried, laughed, and yelled at the screen as characters made morally gray choices. I hated, and I loved every decision they made because it made them so much more human, relatable, and utterly unforgettable.

'Love Like the Galaxy' is a must-watch. It’s packed with gripping drama, epic love, breathtaking visuals, and well-rounded character growth. If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out on an emotional, unforgettable journey. Do yourself a favor and dive into this stellar masterpiece. Grab some tissues, clear your schedule, and prepare for a wild, emotional ride —you won’t regret it!

Can't move on

It is one of my hang out with with friends and neighbors to watch all Zhao Lusi's drama. She portrayed her part in this drama amazingly. and all her dramas, I could say that I started being addicted of C-dramas because of her but only her drama that we watch. and take note, we are adults and mothers and we watch as family and as friendly bonding with friends.

I see many haters of Zhao Lusi but this makes her loyal fans love her more. She's a versatile actress and beautiful. I could say she's the only Chinese actress whom I like watching.

Disappointing ending

Yes, there is a happy ending but why did they have to drag it on so much? the unnecessary conflict at the end (them being apart for five years, her considering marrying someone else), her being stubborn and not forgiving him despite loving him very much (apparently), it was just annoying. I would have expected her heart to soften after five years of being apart but she was being stubborn for the sake of it. only when she thought he was dead did she forgive him. was it all for the drama? for me, it left a bitter aftertaste to an otherwise good series.

FIRST FISTORIICAL CDRAMA AND IT SERVED THE WHOLE COURSE

I have recently started watching historical dramas especially Kdramas and i had the courage to pick up C-drama though i have stayed away from them.Love like the Galaxy fell in my hands and both leads are my top favorites in cdrama so i knew i wouldnt be disappointed but i admit,I didnt know it was 56 episodes until i was knee deep into the story.

First thing First,Lets talk about the production.Oh my Oh my.I have bben around the sun few times and seen many movies, from hollywood blockbusters to asian cinema to international productions, i dont thing I have ever seen a cinematography that left me with awe like this drama..i dont know which stae of the art mechanicals they used but it was breathtaking,Every scene, every shot,;and, sea nad air were done beautifully,It reminded me of the 2008 OLypic opening in CHina..I have no idea how many extras were used but they ere many, i imagined the set being like a small village where people spent months.

THe cast, from the leads to secod leads to extras all were absolutely amazing.Wu Lei is known to be a stellar actor even as young as he is at only 24,Zhao Lusi is an out of this world actress, non of her work passes me by,she is so talented its not even funny. In terms of the characters, They all developed well and those who were meant to be consistent, did remain so till the last two episodes where we see them change to better.
THe acting deserved 10 oscars, all types of emotions, happy, tears, fighting, screaming, painful ones...nobody was blunt or boring.
THe only negative point that most people seem to have in common is how the end was rushed, which iass common in Chinese drama especially the long ones.If its a good one, you find yourself invested in the story ,then the directo or the writers get bored and start rushing the story afterf spending 30=episodes filling scenes in between.LOve like the Galaxy suffered the same fate but it was saved by a good producion and stella actors that it was hardly noticeable.

In closing This drama is 1000/10 and i would recommend to anyone.dont worry if you feel like 56 episodes are many, just look forward to Grandma Cheng and the Emperor scenes, they carried the comedic part of the show

This is the most outstanding and best historical cdrama I have ever watched. Form acting to the character development of the actors in this drama was totally outstanding. The story progression and plot of the story was really mind blowing. The male and the female leads were awesome. The time I spent on this drama was totally worth it. 10/10 for me. From OST to the fighting scenes, the drama, the suspense and the comedy was totally outstanding. The chemistry between the leads was unreal. The ending after all the hurdles and struggle they went through was worth it. Wish they had shown the wedding and babies too. But well.....not that I mind.
All in all 100 marks to this drama. Loved it ❤️😍😌

The Best 2022 Drama!

For me this the best drama I've ever watched! The Love Like The Galaxy delivered everything that what I'm looking for in asian drama. The acting of FL and ML was really good and believable along the other cast members each of them have unique quality that compliment really well with story. The Love like galaxy play well of my emotions, it makes you smile, cry, sad, angry and frustrated. The drama show us about family relationship, loyalty, love, palace politics and loyalty. The FL attitudes and the way she act is a typical 15-16 years old that going thru adolescence so it's very believable. I love the director for his attention to details about the acting, cinematography and the music it's refreshing to listen because you can totally focus on the drama without the music. Please please watch the LLTG it's a slow burn romance but it's realistic and believable. Best Drama Ever!!!

OBSESSED. A 56-EP MASTERPIECE I WISH I'D WATCHED SOONER.

y'all... i regret watching this drama late into 2024. it spent years gathering dust in my watch list bc i got intimidated by the number of episodes but my GOD. never let the drama length hinder you from unearthing diamonds i'm telling you!!

let me just say i finished watching this five days ago and until now, even while watching another cdrama, i cannot stop thinking about ling buyi and cheng shaoshang and everyone else. are they married with three kids?? is the cheng grandma still insufferable? i really am just obsessed not only with the main characters but also the supporting characters. i love them all so much, 56 episodes weren't enough to unravel this masterpiece. the actors were splendid in bringing the characters to life, especially zhao lusi with such a complex character like niaoniao. can't say i'm surprised though, zls has always been a magnificent actress.

i wish we could've seen more of ling buyi and cheng shaoshang towards the ending, though. AND I NEED WU LEI AND ZHAO LUSI IN ANOTHER DRAMA! MAY THE CDRAMA GODS HEAR MY PRAYER.

PS. this is my first wu lei drama ever and now i'm in love with him i'm omw to binge his works TT____TT

One of the best period dramas. The chemistry between the leads is so compelling.

I have never been addicted to a Chinese drama before and truthfully this is the first time. Part 1 was already amazing even though some would say that it's a slow burn drama. I love how slow it is. As always, acting is on point even on supporting characters. Indeed, this was one highly produced drama. The casts of this drama will never disappoint. The story is also unpredictable. I always wonder what will happen next. The romance between the leads is great. I love how the scenes between the leads are not exaggerated just to justify the theme of romance. I love how even their small talks can bring such a natural chemistry between the two. Moreover, the exchange of dialogues were also well-written and thought through. This one is by far one of the most romantic period dramas I have watched.

This one is set in the palace where Niao Niao has to deal with bratty princesses.

I can't help but rant about all the bratty characters, which include princesses that have no sense & get off bullying people who aren't royalty. Eck.

Love the dynamics between the emperor, empress and Consort Yue. I am not into polygamous relationships, but once in a while I see a few (fictional ones) where the all involved respect and value each other. I do feel like the empress is a bit meek but at the same time, she is also a gentle queen who has treated Niao Niao with kindness her mother didn't have.

I don't want to get started with the mother. Distance from Niao Niao is the only good thing she could do for her, for she sure as a hell isn't a good mother to Niao. Always choosing her own pride over her daughter's feelings, the poor girl grew up so well even with all the emotional damage.

The two scenes that attracted me to the series are:
One: When in part 1 Niao gets drunk and Bu Yi has to carry her home. I loved that one. Hoped we could have seen more of drunk Niao and Bu Yi moments.
Two: When in part 2 they break up and he says he won't regret it. I hate that kind of stuff in my dramas, they make me curse at the character who is responsible for the breakup. I hate it that it is Bu Yi and it happens to Niao Niao who has only had people abandon her. One more person to abandon her. (Yeah yeah, it is for her own good). This part attracted me not because of how Niao Niao suffered but I wanted to see what Bu Yi does to make up for it.

Too Slow and Too Boring

This drama is incredibly slow. Just when the viewer expects to finally see action around the main couple because the threads of uncles and aunts have ended and in season one ML finally proposed to FL (Hallelujah!) the threads of princesses and princes begin.
I dared to write a negative comment after episode three because I saw rave reviews after episode one. If they are allowed, I am also allowed. I can't write a review after episode ten because my patience for this drama has already run out. Those interesting scenes shown in the trailer will probably be there three episodes before the end, but I really don't want to waste another hour learning about the stories of the secondary and tertiary characters. On top of that, the funny scenes are over. At this point, for me, there is nothing left in this drama except boredom. Music that has been in other dramas, young actors who are becoming more annoying than convincing on and, of course, a slower pace than in Sloth. Sorry, the boredom overshadows everything for me. In the second season there is nothing more interesting.

different from any typical costume drama

entertaining , good storyline, great acting, great cast, as the headline different from any typical costume drama. must watch. Since its a continuation of part 1 we know how this story will move on ,here in this ling buyi will take his revenge and especially at that time when he was at the peak of his relationship with cheng shaosheng. ling buyi left everything behind for his revenge as he was waiting for more than 10 years and he has shifted everything in the direction he wants everyone was in his mind he was like the narrow slit of the coin .cheng shaosheng was not part of ling buyi's plan .
she was the only hope and a ray of light in the darkness of his past.
only she was capable of moving beside him.
