A fitting conclusion to both stories
I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna miss this series now that it's officially over. It was nice seeing both KluenDao and FahPrince together in this episode and to see how they got a fitting ending to their stories. Loved it. It was so funny to see Fah still being protective off Dao when Kluen approaches him, and him becoming a softie only when Prince intervenes. And I love how both Fah and Kluen are so willing to be with their boyfriends, and their promises are so heartwarming. Can't wait to see them again in a series next year. Until then hasta la vista and good luck! Was this review helpful to you?

This was Wasted Opportunity
If there is one word to describe the special ep, then it's "meh". I think it was cute for what it's worth, but there was a LOT of wasted potentials. For one, What if instead of them reacknowledging how much they love each other every five words or so, we got to see them be vulnerable with each other, so vulnerable that they take it to the next level and shiggidy-shang-bang-bang for the first time? Imagine, boyfriends who have been together forever whose stopping point is a damn kiss on the cheek. ??? I think Prince and Fah kissed once and maybe Duao and Kluen did in one of their umpteenth cheek kisses. But this was just cheese on top of cheese which is fine if that's what you watched it for. I wish things would've gotten spicy because nothing happens and it's them just being on the beach and splashing water at each other while eating fried chicken. The only thing I can really take away from this episode is that Prince is the sweetest and most understanding boyfriend toward his very busy doctor boyfriend. It's sweet to see him take the time and reassure Fah that everything is okay. I also liked seeing Prince and Duao having scenes together and watching Fah glare daggers at Kluen.
Personally, I enjoyed SIYH a lot more than SIMM, so I thought the proposal was cute, but a little performative seeing as Thailand doesn't allow same-sex marriages so then you go, "No this can't even happen so what's the point?"
Overall, I'll give it a 5. It's GMMTV so I honestly shouldn't have expected more, but I was hoping for at least a heated make-out or something more seeing as it's something boyfriends who have been in a relationship for a while would do.

Diabetes-inducing.
Here's representative dialogue:Kluen: Can you not be any more lovable?
Daonuea: I'm a lovable person. I can't quit being lovable, can I?
Kluen: Continue being lovable. And I'll keep loving you. Love you with all my heart.
Vomit. That was corrected for a mistranslation - it's clear they were saying "lovable" and not "lovely", but it's terrible either way. That of course was followed by Kluen trying to kiss him and getting repeatedly pushed away, because gay sex, ick. The last thing I want a brand-new boyfriend to do is touch me.
That, incidentally, was followed by a scene featuring the late-20s couple, wherein a kiss on the cheek is treated like it's a huge deal. At least in this case Fah announced he planned to escalate their chaste slumber:
Fah: "I've changed my mind. I don't just want your company in bed. I want my boyfriend in bed." To me that means "crack out the lube and fire up the DoorDash - we're not leaving bed until Monday." To them it means cuddling while they sleep while fully dressed.
At least that didn't make me vomit. Just roll my eyes and sigh wearily. However, the extremely long product-placement scene where everyone force-fed each other fast-food fried chicken made me plenty queasy.
Every line is so predictable that you actually groan before it's even spoken. Here's a quiz:
Fah asks Prince: "Which do you like bettter - the mountains or the beach?"
Is the answer:
a) The mountains.
b) The beach.
c) Who cares? Take off your shirt so I can hump your abs.
d)
I don't need to fill in d), because you know exactly what it will be. And it's delivered with unsmiling gravitas as if it's the most meaningful and important thing anyone has ever said.
Physical Therapy is frequently held up as the worst BL of the year, but at least there was no possible way to predict what would happen (since it was randomly generated). Star & Sky is so formulaic and predictable that it's just insulting.
Do yourself a favor and skip it.
Story: 1. There is no story - just people being sickening. You can have cuteness without it sounding like it was written by a nine year old girl. Actually, that's really unfair to nine year old girls. There would at least be a cute bunny or a unicorn to distract me from the awful dialogue.
Acting: 3. Mek Jirakit is by far the best actor in this. Much like Mussolini was the least awful dictator in WW2.
Music: 3. The same two bars of synthesizer music played over and over.
Rewatch value: 1. Only if you promise to lobotomize me afterwards. Actually, scratch that. Make that only if you lobotomize me before.
Overall: 2. Sometimes a series is so bad that it's good. Not this one.

A great light-hearted drama
I think this was a wholesome ending for both couples and was very enjoyable for the short amount of time. There was a lot of cute scenes and after watching both Star and Sky this special episode was what was needed to end both series. The story was light-hearted and cute and the actors worked well together. There was a good amount of chemistry and all the cute scenes had me smiling, so I overall think the stroy of the ending was good. The music, just like in both series, was very nice and fitting for the drama. The music definitely added to the drama and added different emotions to different scenes.I really enjoyed watching this drama and would definitely rewatch at some point and recommend to those who are just looking for a light-hearted drama.

Rotting, sweet, tooth fluff.
Nothing more to say about this special because it's all it was. But I loved it! Like how it closed off both DaoKluen's story and FahPrince's. Nice touch of adding marriage rights in there too. Kluenand Fah's competiveness had me laughing and the sweetness of the couple's had me smiling from ear to ear thru the episode. Nice of GMMTV to give it an extra closure. TBH I'm gonna miss Fah & Prince the most.It was nice to hear: "My Starlight" in the special too.
I give it a 10 because the fluff was exactly what I needed. Oh, and I liked how Fah's workaholic situation was handled and how much Prince was a supportive boyfriend. Bye Star & Sky gonna miss them as brothers too.
Well onto the next one.

In response to the low ratings....
I really wish there was an emotional involvement rating on these dramas. This was super cute and I loved it, because it was exactly what I was looking for. Sometimes you just want to see something sweet, and you don't always want to be half into a box of tissues by the time it's done. Some kind of rating system for that would be great.I watched this special episode at the end of Sky In Your Heart, and it was the perfect ending imho. Many people seem to not like it because it's not all in your face with dramatic scenes. Most of us know what we are getting into with BL dramas, and yes, they are full of the same old tropes, and no, most of them won't be masterpieces. So if that's what you're looking for, this is the wrong genre. For some of us, a little bit of romance and something to make us smile is enough, especially if we don't get to experience that irl and just want a little fantasy to enjoy.

Boring..
It was so... I wish I liked more this special, but to be honest, it's just so boring. So fucking boring. It's not even cute to watch, It's just plain boring and unnecessary.
Star & Sky series in general were... well. I can't say that looking at all, I liked it. It was mid.
It doesn't have a plot or anything. It's just some filler scenes in a compilation...
The only thing that I liked was the propose. It was cute and I love seeing gay people marrying, and being happy together. But is literally the only thing that I liked. Sad.

It's cute, but that's it
I only recommend this in case you miss the couples from Star in my Mind and Sky in your Heart. It's basically just a collection of cute moments between the couples.Even though I couldn't fully appreciate the special episode because I didn't watch Sky in your Heart (nothing wrong with that series, I'm just not interested), it was nice to see the characters again as they live together and are happy. It's also very relaxing to just watch characters being in love without having to fear plot twists or angsty moments.
My only complaint about this is just that nothing much happens. Special episodes usually have some plot, even just a hint of it. "Our Skyy" is the proof that making a single episode with an interesting plot is possible, so the lack of time isn't an excuse. It's not a necessary thing, so I still rated the episode pretty high, but it would have been nice.

meaningless fluff
if you liked both couples from both series and wanted to see them be cute, sappy, and domestic together? the special episode is for you.there's not really much else to say because......uh, not much happened? I personally really did NOT like SIYH so I ended up skipping through all of Mek and Prince's parts, and I don't think I missed much by doing so besides them being couple-y. Probably would have missed about the same amount with the other couple if I didn't watch the episode at all.
KluenDao as a couple remain almost nauseatingly sweet and so cheesy that I'm torn between cringing and just finding them cute. I still kinda don't like how shy Dao suddenly seems when he seemed so much more direct and upfront in SIMM before they got together but...he initiates more kisses now? Progress!
Also. probably an unpopular opinion but Dunk (Daonuea's actor) seems a little....awkward sometimes? Which isn't something I particularly noted in SIMM so that might mean it's from the couple scenes they act out. I'm not sure if that's a sideproduct of having to act out a character being shy or squirmy with affection from his boyfriend, but I think it sticks out more because I don't find Joong (Kluen) to be awkward at all. He's all in for the cheesefest and doling out sugar like Willy Wonka at the chocolate factory which I found both weirdly cute and amusing. Seems like after the entire "can't spit it out" mess of SIMM he went the complete opposite direction and now won't shut up about how much he adores his boyfriend lmao...good for him? even if I feel like I gotta check my teeth for cavities from all the sugar

Cute and fluffy conclusion
Looking at it from a story perspective, nothing much actually happened. And that’s okay. It was a special episode meant to solely show some cute and fluffy moments between the two couples and their interactions between each other. I especially enjoyed the Kluen and Fah moments – I know they say they don’t like each other much, but I think the two have become much closer than they would ever admit. They radiate sibling energy, and I am here for it. Prince and Dao are two cuties, especially when put together. But they have the power in their relationships. I think that’s especially obvious in the way Prince keeps Fah in line when it comes to Kluen. All in all, it was an adorable little episode that showed how the two couples have settled in life after their series ended. Was this review helpful to you?
Beautiful End
The reason I gave 10 stars for each review is solely for 'encouragement' of BL producers. I won't compare special episodes with anything happened in Star In My Mind and Sky In My Heart series. This special episode was special because they showcased not only their concluding love but their 'family' existence. Since Dao and Fah are brothers all 4 of them come together, talk together, eat and don't hesitate in living like any other couples or joint families.
The moment Fah talks about Wedding gave a priceless reaction on Prince's Face which says a lot about this adult - couples.
While though younger Dao and Kluen grew a lot and they really had better scenes in Sky in your heart and this special episode than their own series.
Both the couple are different but when it comes to love, they love them equally. A great ending to this great BL novel. Congratulations to all who were part of it.
Keep spreading love.
