Yes abs. The ML really give that dominating vibe, such a hottie x. x now I want to know more about his other dramas. The other character seems ok. The thing about this drama is it really lead the viewers in a confused state after watching.


The writer should've hinted more regarding Tianyi's situation rather than putting some contrast character in the ending. Viewers may think that 'is he dead? ' 'did he lose his memory after being hit? "

Yes something like that but hnmm. The drama took me long to finish even if it only has a couple of mins per episode compared to other dramas haha

A mini revenge series but without the mini's flaws

Watched on viki (mini, compacted in 8 ep.)

Very catchy historical drama (although I don't like the FL very much :( ) but the ML is TOP (Dai Gao Zheng = hot and intense) and ML2 is absolutely hateful.

Plot: The FL finds refuge in the governor's mansion, after her entire family has been killed. Her half-sister has usurped her place as ML2's fiancée, so the FL enters as a maid in an attempt to get revenge (on the governor, whom she believes is behind the massacre).

A very short format, but without the flaws of minis. Lively production, fairly well-developed characters... but a sad ending (I would have liked to see the ML, suffering and injured throughout the drama, enjoying a bit of happiness).

Drama historique très accrocheur (bien que je n'aime pas beaucoup la FL :( ) mais le ML est TOP (Dai Gao Zheng = hot et intense) et le ML2 est détestable à souhait.

Plot : la FL trouve refuge dans la maison du gouverneur, après que toute sa famille ait été tuée. Sa demi-soeur a usurpé sa place de fiancée du ML2, le FL entre donc comme domestique dans le but de se venger (du gouverneur, dont elle pense qu'il est à l'origine du massacre).

Format très court, mais sans les défauts des mini. Réalisation vive, personnages assez bien développés... mais fin triste (j'aurai aimé voir le ML, souffrant et blessé pendant tout le drama, profiter d'un peu de bonheur).

Fictional toxicity

If you are one to look for morality in stories, this is definitely not for you.
This is the typical violent manipulative Male leads with a female lead struggling to stay a float and romance attached in between.
However its done to perfectly suit the palate.
Because its a short drama there is very fast progress but its done with taste so no complaints.
Good acting.
Plus the characters are pleasing to the eye thus another bonus.
Surprisingly well done especially in costumes used relating to that particular period of time in comparison to big budget drama productions.
Anyway...i will be seated to watch how it all unfolds, though predictable, its just a way too good of a watch.

Is it the right time coming back to Cdramas?

The answer is probably YES. For me it's been years actually since I saw a new HD and not too old Chinese dramas. And so I'm so glad and grateful for seeing this drama in Onetouch.tv recommendation. It made my day.
Mad love scenarios came back, masculine and ahem (STRIGHT) men with much more sauces than before. Stay tuned for more exclusive romance scenes.

Eventhough you had been disappointed before, give it a try and eventually you won't regret it.
The acting was on point, but one thing was so unpredictable had been added which is a heavy punishment that ended in episode 7. She had been beaten by men's with a belly...do you even know how painful it is.

This drama will be loved by those who like the male lead (ML) that willing to do anything, directly ASAP do anything to safe to protect the female lead (FL). I don't hate it, thanks to some lakorn I saw, my mental endurance is stronger now. Though, in some scenes, I still unable to endure the FL's idiotic act. Don't get me wrong, I'm talking about the character, not any actors or actresses.

Pictured you find your whole family is massacred, then when you find your father and has a change to talk to him. Suddenly, a group of police/government officers come to your house... normal people will think that these officers come to safe you. But this FL, think that they are the one who kill her family, lol. Not to mention her mother treasured her, won't let her get out from the house, until none of the people in the city have even see her. That's means, she supposed to be in the house to watch the killing.
Also the scene when she wants to search for some clues from ML's room, and she does it when he's asleep... while she can freely does it at noon while he's at work. She also said to the second male lead "the day my family massacred, I saw him barged into my house." They already dead when he come... not to mention you even more early than he is, my Dear.... with a group of officers too😭😭😭. The writer wants to create a miss understanding between the leads and wants the FL hate the ML... but the writer's idea is totally weird

The other part that not making sense, is when the ML make FL to shoot some villains... how can a man let a woman that he love get mental traumatize? This drama remind me with Falling in Love (same plot, same era), but the FL just too idiot compare to Mu Wan QIng who carefully planning her revenge. I hope the development in the future episode will be better

But, this is still watchable. What make it even more loveable for me is that it has 30 episodes with less than 12 minutes each. Totally worth your time to watch it

This was my 148. drama and I haven't seen anything this bad yet. By episode 8 I was already skipping about 90% of the story, that's how boring it was.

I didn't find anything to like about this drama. Actors were really bad at acting, the plot was uninteresting and lacked any logic, characters were shallow and their intelligence could be compared to those after lobotomy. There were too many annoying factors, that prevented me from enjoying this drama.

This one is a Rotten Tomato

I blame myself for picking this one. GF usually takes the lead on what to watch. Like the dutiful BF, I sit, suffer, and watch with her while taking my potshots on her choices. I saw the review stars on MDL and didn't bother to read the description, reviews, and comments to even figure out what this was about.

Wow, this doesn't get any worse and had to drop this one. I get it, some folks like that six pack the ML constantly flashes to the viewers. The dude is half naked for part of the time, I guess it saves on the costume budget for the drama. The FL is constantly getting beaten up or she's being forcibly grabbed by the ML. It definitely breaks some of the conservatism of mainstream Asian dramas for sure.

One can only take so much with BAD acting, story line, bad plotting, and bad production. I had to sit through this with potshots being thrown my way by the GF before I shut this whole thing down five minutes into the third episode.

It's so violent but the male lead is so hot

If you are into those revenge melodramas with a love-hate relationship and a domineering but sexy male lead then this drama might be worth your while.

The plot is full of cliches that can draw you in. Tingyao has lived a sheltered existence as the only daughter of the Dong family and fiance of Fang Fuze (note: they never as adults). On the night her family was annihilated, she met Tianyi who she then blamed for the massacre. She went to the Fangs for help but to her shock, her half-sister was already there pretending to be her. Unable to provide proof of who she was, she was beaten but was saved by Fuze. She was then forced to become a maid in the house but was surprised once again when she came across her fiance's uncle, the governor that she thought would be able to help her, and discovered he was actually Tianyi! He took her to a bed to make it look like they slept together then announced that she's his personal maid. So by now she hates Tianyi and thinks Fuze is nice. But based on previews, what she didn't know was that Tianyi tried to stop the massacre but was too late and it actually Fuze who brought disaster to her family. The two men will fight for her attention while she tries to prove who she is and complete her revenge. I think she will definitely prove her identity and will try to marry Fuze while having complicated feelings for Tianyi.

The Republican setting gives an elegant feel. But while I understand that this was a violent time, I don't think it's necessary have over the top violence. I was shocked when the Tingyao was beaten until she bled just because she insisted that she's real daughter of the Dong family. I hope there won't be too much of this in future episodes.

The actors are good looking, Tingyao looks sweet and Tianyi looks fit. The preview I've seen of their kisses exudes chemistry. They seem to have a love-hate relationship. I just hope it won't be the usual toxic mess seen in other dramas of this time setting.

So for now I'll chase this drama but may drop it if my tolerance level can't take it anymore.

Bölümler kısa olması sebebiyle haftalık izletti kendini ama o kadar saçmaydı ki, bu dizinin senaryosunu yazan hadi yazamadı anladım, çeken dönüp biz ne çekiyoruz da mı demedi? Olayların açıklaması da bir o kadar saçmaydı. Kızın gözü önünde akrabasını öldürdü, açıklama akraba seni öldürecekti. Neden? Kıza ilk tanıştığı andan beri tecavüz etmeye çalışıyor ama aslında iyi niyetli(!) Kızı ilk gördüğü yerde yatağa attı. Kızın ailesini yakışıklı olmayan çocuk öldürdü, sadece ailenin yerini bildiği taşı almak için :D İşte bu kadar aklı var, mantık bu dizideki. Yakışıklı çocuk gerçekleri kızdan sakladı ve kıza ailesinin katillerini o normal insan olduklarını düşünürken vurdurttu :D Peki kızın kendine tecavüz etmeye çalışan ve ailesini öldürdüğünü düşündüğü çocuğa sürekli acıyıp yanına gitmesi? Kız da gerizekalı oğlan da. Yazarların akıllarıyla ilgili bir şey söyleyeceğim, hakaret kaçacak, o yüzden eleştirimi burada bitiriyorum.
