Min Joon Shows His Real Identity to Song Yi
Min Joon leaves the scene of the car crash and ignores calls from Song Yi. Police Yoo Den Poon also develops suspicion over the case and contacts Jang Young Mok to question his relationship with Min Joon. Later, he updates Liu Xi with new developments on the case. Young Mok persuades Min Joon to leave and not fall in love with Song Yi. Min Joon takes Song Yi to the museum and exposes his true identity as an alien in order to scare her off. He also tells Song Yi that she looks very much like the girl whom he saved 400 years ago. (Source: Viu)

My Love from the Star Episode 12 Reactions
The face off between Song Yi and Se Mi was epic! Song Yi has been showing a lot of brilliance. First when she realized that someone was in Min Joon's apartment and she acted her way out of it. Then with this face off. (I'm not sure if it's 100% a showdown yet.) I like that she told Se Mi that even if they're roles are reversed she won't come down to her level. Being jealous and coveting what other's have is lowly, and Song Yi has worked hard for what she has!
Basically every good looking guy is Song Yi's friend's destiny! Can't fault her though. Love the music and the wind blown hair! Perfection for a good laugh. Which was really needed, because things are slowing down and doing typical "drag the drama out" things that I loath. Especially the plot trop that the male lead needs to push away the female lead and break her heart.
It's made even more redicoulous here because Min Joon decides to get rid of all the amazing evidence they had on Jae Kyung. So that he could be Jae Kyung's new henchman! One he knows has powers. How would not turning Jae Kyung from the start have been bad? The evidence was damning! This alone is enough of a plot hole to make me want to . . . ugh!!
I do appreciate that we've gotten a little bit more information about Min Joon's powers. However, the idea that this guy from way back when proclaimed that Min Joon's "energy" will run out and he will die seems lame. Not to mention that it's happening in time for him to finally go home. It's even crueler to see how much he doesn't want to do these things to Song Yi, but he still does. Finally he's going to tell her a truth about him, and he's doing it in a way that will scare her.
I'll say it many times over, with holding information is what puts people in danger. *sighs* I'm really hoping things don't stay slow and painful like this. If they are at least there's a chance to have some of the funny moments sprinkled in. That cute dream ended up feeling like a knife! Here's what he really wants, now let's watch this stupid trope play out. ;_;

I love this drama and I love Do Min Joon. Do not misunderstand but Do Min Joon is pissing me off! Why can he just give all the evidence he has on Lee Jae Kyung. He is a punk if he take the blame for Jae Kyung because he believe Jae Kyung will stop harming Chun Song Yi.
Do Min Joon is not wise for a 400 year old man. He should have know that Jae Kyung will not stop because he was going to give Jae Kyun the flash drive that was evidence, but still Jae Kyung wanted to kill him and Chun Song Yi

Each episode is so exciting...and you finally see he really cares for her. Great actors! The last scene touched me.
She is even willing to risk her life to see if he is all right...how cute.

I was just joking with the title because this scene "cracked me up" (I hope I used the correct phrase).
It's interesting to see that the plot is taking a drastic new turn with Do Min Joon willing to do Jae Kyung's dirty work and then disappear in order to protect Song Yi.
However, I'm wondering why they won't tell us the reason for Do Min Joon's extended stay on earth (answers might come later in the show but still). The other aliens like him seemed to be collecting samples of plants and other without staying for such a long time there. Also, we don't know anything about this "star" from which he came.

I can't undestand this drama. Each episode is more fabulous than the last one. It's lke a puzzle you're slowly putting together, piece by piece, the writer does a wonderful job. I'm totally stuned. I can't predict it.... I'm so in love with the drama

Omo,what a sad episode. So good,it's slowly revealing everything.I hope that brother killer will be caught. Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun are soo cute.Hope he confess her how he feels about her. The ending just blow me off. I can't wait for the next episode :D
