LOVED THE STORY (but did had few not so good scenes)
PEOPLE ALL NEED EXTREME HOT KISSES NOWADAYS, IT WAS AWKWARD AND WIERD BUT DON'T RATE THIS STORY LOW JUST BECAUSE OF THAT. THAT'S SO LAME,I know people hates these silly misunderstanding plots. And they all need something that perfectly moulded. but from my pov, the story was good (but did have few disconnected scenes, made it weird)
∆ the story was totally was about the reality. People just seeing things from their own perspective.
∆ but the sudden death and so on issues about mother made it awkward, eventhough it can really happen.
as it is created as a story they could've find a better reason for Yeon woo(?).
Writer guy's feelings were maded mostly clear in the series and i loved his pov.it was rushed even though.
people who r into total fiction a Mafia, death, school days, friendship or so so.... it's definitely not for them.
but it's just about a part of life of some people, and people could say it's lame misunderstandings. but it wasn't, we can say they could've just communicate from the beginning and would've made it through, they were friends in the end. That might be one biggest fear in that writer guy.and him Running away from it is also understandable.

It's... mid?
I went into this with no expectations, as I just randomly clicked a show on viki, but I have to be honest, kinda disappointing? The story progressed really weirdly, and I feel like they just spent 5 episodes on him camping outside (great and seamless productplacement w the car btw/j)
We didn't get much story on when he left and how it was for him, or any resolution around that, the only thing we got to know was that he left because of his feelings, and that they're now reunited.
The script feels... forced and patchy like a Wattpad fanfiction, and they could've managed to fill a lot of holes and make the whole story more consistent if the episodes were 20min, or if they replaced some scenes where he's just sitting outside grilling. The story progressed, yes, but not like a red thread, more like a pogostick, if that makes sense?
The actors are great but lack chemistry. If you know that the script is gonna make you kiss another man, why say yes when you can't do it properly?! I'm tired of tenth grade theater show kisses...
Best part is the ost, AMAZING! On my playlist rn!

A simple love story that tackles the different perspectives that makes them fall apart. It's all about how misinterpretation creates a wall between two people. In these 8 episodes, the story is interesting although the development of the relationship between the characters is slow. The good thing about this series is that they didn't try so hard to create sweet scenes, it's not forced. To be honest the chemistry is not strong maybe because that's how the story was. the actors did well in portraying the characters, they also relayed the emotions very well.
The last 2 episodes explain and showed how the characters really felt about what happened in the past. I actually wanted to know or watch their story in the past.
This could be a great series but I think they're not yet pushing it to the extent maybe because Korea is not yet widely open about this genre

Too simple
I think actors were good and script was also simple and good but somewhere it was too simple and no much complicate past not even a misunderstanding just some random stupid stuff he disappeared anyway I know korean bl has to improve a lot unlike thai and I hate freezing kiss scene if not they shudnt do it we have seen stay with me Chinese bromance it was so good and both were expressing love thru action rather than words hope korean bl has to get idea fans don’t watch all the bl like idiots please do some good scripts and actors were good unfortunately script didn’t go well with themWas this review helpful to you?
the first love is way far to be beautiful
After a 1000 misunderstanding the story come closer to a good ending, well I want to start saying that we have points that I'm in to discuss about, maybe the story is not bat they just don't explore in a good way, and I kinda like the acting they are pretty good and they need more bls together because they have chemistry, that chemistry that makes you watch 1000 eps, I do not love the soundtrack, I don't know why. The rewatch value I give 10 because you can't deny that you watch well and can rewatch well easily, so in general is like the story say, the first love is waaaaaay far to be beautiful we have a lot of situations that we have to deal with. Was this review helpful to you?
I thought that the title was weird but the final plots proved me wrong.
I'm glad that the episodes are less than 20 minutes long each. An exceed of a minute or two could've made this in my Dropped Lists. Honestly speaking, episodes 1-3 can be shortened to a single episode. There is too much airtime for unnecessary scenes in the initial episodes. I take the risk just to finish this series. Well, I'm glad that I did it.I find the title weird because every action in the beginning until episode 6 that Woo Jae has made is too much unjustifiable for me to understand his own circumstances. Literally, he's the very existence of selfish and inconsiderate. In comparison to the other main character, Yeon Woo's actions are reasonably valid.
But no, no, no, I was mistaken! As the plots are approaching to the end of the storyline, everything gets clearer and better. I thought this was poorly written. The misunderstandings concluded in a pretty good note. 'Individual Circumstances' is the perfect title of this series.
This is plain in all aspects but the perfect balance made this worth the risk. The matching beautiful soundtrack and fantastic cinematography blend to give off the best emotional scenes I've ever watched. Simplicity wins. I like how they end this in a mellow yet lovely tone.
Overall, I am very satisfied watching this. Watchable. Decent. Mellow.
(Does touching lips give love affection? They could have just fake-kissed to be more romantic.)

Give it a watch despite the dead fish kiss
I was on the fence on whether to give this series a 7.5 or an 8. Ultimately I chose 8 because the acting and visuals were well done. I can’t see myself rewatching this series, but it was an enjoyable watch nonetheless. There were too many parts of the story that were left to the viewer’s imagination. A lot of fill in the gaps on your own moments. It would have been nice if the past story line had been flushed out a little more. Treat this series like an easy watch and binge watch it in a day like I did.Was this review helpful to you?
Good in it's own way...
Well...i don't even know where to start. Just let me say that all in all its a good show worth to watch. To be honest, i really liked it. Liked the actors and how they portrayed their character, and the story flowed and didn't felt forced or rushed, though it did had some misses here and there. Like in any other relationship they had misunderstandings and made rash decisions that had painful consequences. I can understand that more so when it comes to feelings that are frowned upon. The main leads lacked chemistry a bit and they gave more a friends vibe than lovers so when it came to romantic scenes it was a little bit cringe from my point of view. One thing that annoys me though is the dead fish lip lock. And is not just a BL thing. Seriously, i know it might be uncomfortable for some to kiss full on, i really understand ,even if it's their job basically. But i would be fine with a peck as long as it feels natural. I don't need NC scenes or whatever as long as its a good story and it keeps me interested, but locking lips and stay there stuck like a pair of dead fishes, a big fat NO! so yeah, an 8 for that and for the lack of spark between the leads. Otherwise, good show! Was this review helpful to you?

Please Reconsider
It's a shame that the creators--with material that rewards repeat viewing--bundled in so many annoyances that most viewers won't give their work a second chance.I've found successive viewings increasingly rewarding. I'll always be frustrated that the writer and director conspired to keep the characters one-dimensional until the series was half over, but for me, the acting triumphed.
Jun.Q (Woo Jae) may be the better actor, but he had some advantages: He was allowed interior monologues showing the turmoil beneath his d*ckishness; He could explain himself through Mi So (the female character in his novel); We're shown another side of him in the flashbacks. Foremost, he has that face: To my taste, his face is beautiful but not cute, he does doleful really well and he somehow conveys multiple emotions with one expression. So it's all the more unfortunate that the writer reverts him to type a couple more times after the semi-breakthrough in episode 5.
Whereas Han Jung Wan (Yeon Woo) for far, far too long is forced to grin foolishly while his heart hurts.
As I've rewatched it--admittedly making liberal use of fast-forward--these scenes have grown on me. (It's interesting to note that--until the climax--the best writing is in Woo Jae's novel rather than in dialog.):
Episode 3+06:25 “During the four years Mi So was gone, Hyo Jae never searched for her. Mi So thought she was not as important to Hyo Jae. Mi So misunderstood."
3+14:40 Woo Jae: "We need to talk." Yeon Woo fails to say what Woo Jae has been waiting to hear.
5+02:30 Yeon Woo: "I can understand how Hyo Jae feels. . .. Hyo Jae is just scared. . .. He is afraid that everything will end once he puts it into words” Woo Jae ponders this until Episode 6. He begins to struggle a little with keeping up his hostile façade.
5+12:15 Yeon Woo: "I spread her ashes over here." Woo Jae, who had started to walk away, returns to Yeon Woo's side.
6+02:10 Yeon Woo: "You just smiled." "No, I didn't."
6+06:45 Woo Jae has banished Yeon Woo, but his characters' dialog shows the strength of Yeon Woo's hold over him.
7+04:33 Three-way conversation; major shift in dynamic.
7+09:15 Yeon Woo: "Let's write it again together." The beginning of the end of the slow burn; the air is thick with metaphors.
. . . Through . . .
14:16 Jun.Q aces the waterworks test: "Mi So also had no intention of hiding it anymore. But . . . Hyo Jae was already gone by then."
BUT THEN
15:37 Yeon Woo: "Is this story about us?" Aieee! The writer is determined to make Yeon Woo a dunce. If only he had said, "This story must end well, because it's our story. And if our story doesn’t end well, I . . . [both cry]"
8+11:25 Yeon Woo reads Woo Jae's script: "You can see Hyo Jae brightly smiling, looking at Mi So sitting under the Love Tree."
Cha Shi Hyuk (Bak Seong Joon, Woo Jae's manager) also deserves praise--and more roles--for his acting. I enjoy his bashful smile at 8+06:45 when it dawns on him why Woo Jae is anxiously looking at the street.

Reminded me of TMS
I'm not going to judge without completing it. Episode one really tested my patience. Production is good and actors have potential. But I'm afraid this slice of life is gonna fall in the "could have been better without plot holes" category. They are spending too much time on unnecessary scenes given the length of the episode. Still manifesting a good story. I didn't like the mc's behaviour towards his manager and the other mc's living infront of his house like a stalker. Let's see where it goes. Was this review helpful to you?
