Almost a full year has gone by HELP

And we are back, I have been watching this episode for like 7 (correct 11 and almost 12) months or however long this show has been out. And bro thought about it and is like we need to get freaky and I am all here for that. Bro, he has to calm down he is not going anywhere lol. And then shoved him back out bro no way. He had no business putting him back out like that. Left bro star struck. And that's it. Please ignore the fact that I only rated the final bit of this episode. Okay yeah, that final part was pretty good and I just need to force myself to watch this shit bro. Help in 10 days it will be a year, I am ending the cycle, and I am gonna try to finish this lol. We have the week off but are at school for some fucking reason, so yeah. Okay bye!

JokeZo are so cute or should I say JoongDunk are too cute to handle.

I have a lot of mixed feelings towards this episode. There are many cute little moments which I enjoy and a bunch of teasing from each other!! JoongDunk excels as portraying their chemistry and it’s pleasant to watch. That ending kiss with the tease! Jeng and Pok (AouBoom), their relationship didn’t look as healthy as I thought, Pok wants their relationship to be open but Jeng is concern about it. However, their kiss was so cute! Hopefully, they actually talk about it and work it out. They introduced Zo’s ex-crush Puen, I feel like it’s weird but at the same time needed. I think this is one of the things that Zo need to let go to fully love Joke. Joke being jealous but still letting things sorted out was a good move. “Forgiving and rebuilding friendship are two separate matters.” -ZoLooking at the preview of EP 8, is the stalker back?? Joke got pictures of him and Zo, receiving unknown calls. Zo got a new friend? Will see… Joong and Dunk said EP 8 is their favourite so let’s hope there’s some interesting story going on next week. (Side note: I don’t know why I feel like parts of this week’s episode looks too bright. Is it just me??)

Pan/Bi representation yeahiii!

So this episode gave us a little deep dive into our protagonists as we learned about some fond memories of Joke and some bad experiences of Zo. I think it's great that as the story keeps progressing we learn more and more about Zo and Joke just how they get to know each other as well. When we learn a little more about Zo's past we come across what I would identify “internalized homophobia” as we later hear from Puen himself that he wasn't ready to allow himself to be who he truly is. It's so important to not only introduce a bad character for the plot but also to develop briefly this character to see their reasons even if they don't make things right. This allows our protagonist like Zo to show his own character development. Back in his memories he would lash out (as everyone would and should) but now he was collected and new himself way better, which of course we should thank Joke for. This is also later stated by Zo himself, he “learned a lot” and he is “thankful for Joke to be in his life”. This episode had a great climax when Zo finally announced them to be boyfriends! Gosh, you could see his hand hovering over Joke's chest and after the kiss how he checked his handsome boyfriend out... Really well done. Not to mention the spectacular pan/bi representation, which is very much appreciated by the community! My only critique is rather technical: I don't know if I'm a huge fan of this super soft post-production-effect and I think what I was missing in this episode were some transitional shots (the one where Zo was studying was a good one) to know how much time has passed.Other than that, I am extremely satisfied!
