This is gonna be an Intriguing Mess
Absolutely loved the casting and looking forward for the story to unfold.I cant emphasize enough of how much i enjoy watching actors associated with GMMTV and getting to watch more than one BL couple in a single series is definitely a feast to the fans. TMI - First being my favorite of all :P
I love dramas that are a little twisted, dark and emotional. Enjoyed watching first episode and it felt like this is gonna be an interesting Mess , looking forward to how they are gonna wrap this up.
I am having a really hard time understanding few of the characters here because of One night stand concept which is alien to me but ya i am here for the mess to become messier. Each one of them has a different perspective towards friends . Super excited for the new episodes
I could tell what was running in their mind though they were silent just by watching their expressions, that is how much of a good actors they are!! Must mention the music is highlighting their emotions and is much enjoyable for us to listen
I can literally feel that this is gonna take my soul away by making me wait for the next episode each week

It was definitely NOT worth the wait. I ONLY wish it were as daring as it claimed.
I must be in some parallel universe because this series is very flat, predictable and trying way to hard with their awkward sex scenes. They need an intimacy co-coordinator because it's all so forced. Speaking of forced....It's hard to get through any scene with Force and Book. They can't emote. They are uncomfortably wooden. Nothing about their story is engaging or even makes sense.
Why does Top like Mew? Why does Top dress like an 86 year old man on his way to the golfing club? So many questions.
First, Khaotung and Neo's capabilities and range as actors only highlight how poor Force and Book are. It's a disjointed series in terms of acting ability.
First and Khaotung are working well with the stories they have been handed. However, it's quite tiresome to see the same pairings again and again, it just takes away from the beauty and mystery of acting. I already know Ray and Sand are going to fall for each other because they are a BL pairing. I personally don't have an interest in seeing them do the same thing with slightly different ingredients.
Only Friends was meant to be daring, messy and unpredictable but it's anything but. You can already tell where each story is going and what audience/fandom they are catering for. Nothing is spontaneous.
If only Force were a better actor. The dark horse pairing could have been Top and Boston. Two characters who are addicted to each other no matter how hard they try not to be but this is the predictable BL pairings world. So unfortunately, no such luck.

Problematic in a interesting way
I can't lie, this series are extremely messed up. All of the characters are manipulative, kinda stubborn, really horny, also some of them have certain addictions, BUT!! I think you can learn a lot from the characters. They're all so interesting for analyzing and you can make so much theories and conspiracies about their behavior. It's not all sex, it covers a lot of social problems. And the cast is so strong, they all are perfect for their roles everyone is delivering his role in the best way possible. Go watch it if you wanna talk with people about social problems and analize people's behavior. And of course to support the amazing cast, they deserve it.Was this review helpful to you?
Broken??
This series is definitely not for everyone as many people won't like it including me. This is my honest feeling about the show:The story itself is trying to reach into a reality of today's young people with bad habits, but what it more felt like was actually broken story with no further continuity for the characters in the plotline. This applies not just to the character's habits, but also their personalities.
Actual rewatch value : 0
I cant think of a less brief review so you dont have to read any further :,DDDDDDDD.

firstkhao meus pais??

Messy, Messy, Messy
Frankly, it could’ve been even messier. Still disappointed they cut out the scene with Sand and a baseball bat from the teaser trailer lolAnyway, I really like that GMMtv took on a queer centric drama directed by an accredited gay director. He clearly had a vision and you can see the influence of series like Queer as Folk and other media.
They delivered what you expect: a messy, somewhat toxic series about a group of LGBTQ+ young adults. It’s got solid acting, decent flow, and overall delivered an entertaining experience.
Acting is really solid. They pulled several of their heavy hitters for this. Khaotung was especially impressive as he managed to balance a flawed yet sympathetic character struggling with alcoholism. His scene in therapy was probably the most impactful of the show.
Since it’s a BL, I should discuss the relationships. Each relationship had a full arc and for the most part they felt fairly complete.
MewTop is probably most central to all the drama. I found them the least compelling and I honestly don’t think they are going to work out long term lol. They’re like rushing to move in together at the ending after the cheating debacle. I just don’t see Mew ever fully trusting Top again and I frankly don’t think he should lol.
SandRay are probably the healthiest and they communicate the most out of all the pairings. Their arc is primarily about working through their baggage and helping Ray toward sobriety. Sand is a bit of a desperate character when it comes to Ray, which I didn’t like much for their dynamic. Overall though, they seemed the most likely to work out.
BostonNick has caused the most discourse between fans of the show. For the most part, their relationship can be nailed down to two people wanting completely different things out of their relationship. I’m glad they did not end up together because it would not have worked out.
Boston is a polarizing character and personally I think he got the most screwed by the narrative in the end. He’s a promiscuous gay man who prefers casual sex over relationships. Should he have slept with his friend’s bf? No, that’s shitty and he deservedly lost his friend because of it. But then there was all this stuff about people having sex tapes of him without his consent and lying about him assaulting his friend’s brother. And it’s treated like that’s not a horrible thing to happen to him… like damn.
I did like his conversation at the end with Nick. Nick broke it off but he acknowledged it was just because he didn’t want to force Boston to be someone he wasn’t. And that Boston was fine as he was.
I’m honestly not sure how I’d feel about the show if I binge watched it. It was fun to just kind of tune in every week and not worry too much because all of the characters were going to be messy regardless lol.
Either way, it was fun and I would recommend.

Keeps getting better
Brst episode yet. Episode 7 crushed it. So many tangles. I am rooting for Sand. Actimg and plot twist are great. Love that they are tackling some gritty content. I really hope Nick gets a happy ending and Boston seeks redemption. One of the most risque BLs. They are exploring and representing so many facets dealing with sexuality. Great acting particularly this episode 7. Cant wait to see what happen with all the entanglements. Ray and Mew should remain friends.
Love how the stories are interwoven and the pacing is great. Something for everyone here.

“Hope is a difficult thing to kill, just a spark of it can start a fire.”
“Hope is a difficult thing to kill, just a spark of it can start a fire.”The story brings a depth of anguish to the characters and engages our compassion no matter how unflattering and biased the gaze through which we see them. We feel deeply for them because they’re not simply good or evil, they’re flawed people who hurt and were hurt.
Despite their deep abiding wrongness sometimes, we are drawn to their honesty and rawness. This is not a story of niceties after all, it is a tale of people who are not socially (or morally) acceptable. Under this light it is effortless to love, understand, hate and pity them.
The real-life situations push at us, challenging us, all the while knowing that we have to keep watching because redemption awaits. Given this dynamic, it seems almost inevitable that these characters would not just make only themselves, but everyone around them miserable for life.
Human nature personifies itself, subtly saturating every scene with the threat of doom.
The point is, while the drama may not be the wistful romance one expected to be, it is a particularly satisfying one for all its dark and layered complexities.
The entire cast simply excels at their craft, the writer remains true and realistic, and the music blends wonderfully every time.
I recommend this one!

If you feel like the insane hype for this show has been lying to you, I know how you feel.
If you love basically everything GMMTV puts out, odds are you'll love this too. For me though, this show has everything I dislike about Thai BLs all in one place: mediocre directing and writing forcing mediocre performances out of otherwise perfectly good actors resulting in a story that, while it at least makes sense so far, I couldn't possibly care any less about. Everyone's kinda shitty, a couple guys are alright, a couple have room to grow, but it's all so bland and flat I could scream. Including the music, the try-hard lighting, etc etc. None of it has enough authenticity to feel even the slightest bit convincing.Even the sex scenes so far--the thing everyone is really here for--are just...bad. The making out is mostly fine, but the actual intercourse is *hilariously* awful. Hire better intimacy coaches, I'm begging you. And do they want us to watch these guys jerkoff or not? Because those scenes are so poorly and rapidly edited that it feels like they're trying to edit around their own eroticism.
I'm a firm believer in the right for "I didn't say it was good, I said I liked it" content to exist, and I could hardly begrudge anyone for liking anything because that's silly. But wow is this show not for me, and the way people go on and on about how great it is and how good the acting is makes me feel like we are literally watching two different shows. I'm only sticking around to skip through episodes in case the sex scenes get better.
