I seriously enjoyed this BL

I don’t know why BNMNS isn’t getting more hype but this series is honestly the most fantastic Japanese BL I’ve watched so far in 2023.

This is not a typical end-of-the-world story featuring cliched conflict resolution or unrealistic redemption arcs. I share the same sentiments as those who felt that Ritsu was a deeply unlikeable person who didn’t deserve Masumi’s forgiveness. But that’s not relevant to the point that BHMNS is trying to make. The end of the world doesn’t magically turn cruel family members into saints, nor does it bring closure for those mourning the dead.

People still cannot fully rid themselves of their selfish habits, even in their final days. But perhaps, miraculously, love works the best only after you get a glimpse of death.

Only with an end in sight can there be clarity to the mistakes that affect us profoundly, even if we refuse to admit it. If you could start over, what would be the first thing you would undo? That will most likely turn out to be the biggest regret of your life if you don't fix it now.

True to the apocalypse theme, this is a story about all the things that haunt you for the last time before everything goes up in flames. Loneliness and a yearning for connection. Family members you will never reconcile with. All of life’s regrets, with the knowledge that there probably won’t be enough time for redemption.

it was good series

At the beggining i really liked this series. Honestly, my hopes was low, because i didnt know that there will be a chemistry between the main actors. I was totally wrong! The actor, who play the role of Ritsu is so beautiful! Yes, Ritsu was toxic man who cheated and hurt Masumi`s feelings, but at the end I once again fall in love with his character. He really love Masumi and wanted to make things better.
The first two or three episodes was interesting, but when they met Yuma and Meguri, the series was boring. Not everything was clear to me, but the end was what I expected to be.
At the begginig I was sure that I will give it 10 stars, but honestly I wasnt fully impresed. Yes, im surprised that a Japanesse bl series got such a bl scenes, but the story didnt deserve a total 10 stars.

Amazing and Beautifully well done

First of all I would like to say, The rating for this series makes absolutely no sense. So if you want to watch it, watch it. Don't pay attention to the rating cause it is utter garbage. This is one of my favorite series now and I am very picky and have high standard. Now, first of all the plot. It is simple amazing. It is fresh and very interesting. It is the end of the world and you end with your ex until the end, so what you gotta do? I love both Masumi and Ritsu's characters and I love that their character development throughout the series. I love how we got to see their relationship before it got messy. I love how Masumi hated Ritsu guts in the beginning and spoke out how he treated him and how he broke his trust and how Ritsu earned his trust back. I also especially love the sex scenes like OMG isn't that surprising since it is from the one that created pornographer but still, they didn't shy away at all. In fact it made me shy. The acting was amazing. Seto, Nakate and others did a splendid job. Especially Seto. I couldn't watch his previous BL drama since I can't handle cringe but boi can he act. The he expresses grief, anger and happiness just make my mouth drop. Especially this one scene where he reminisces about his past and realized how he wasted it, the expression of regret and also happiness since he have the love his life near him and he wants to enjoy the present was just perfect. The music was also so great. I would be rewatching ten thousand times until I get a second season since I can't say goodbye yet. Definitely a must watch.

When end of the world is nigh, what would you do?

What would you do if you meet the one person you never want to see again while the world is literally coming to an end?

The story is interesting and has a string of emotional moments which you would expect in a series about the end of the world. But what you also have are some amazing characters that are flawed, have a backstory that dictates their present choices and you care about them. The series revolves around these 4 characters. It’s about romance, heartbreaks, redemption, family dimensions and your choices when you are staring at your own mortality.

The story is about Masumi, a closeted gay student who meets Ritsu, a bisexual philanderer and they start a relationship which ultimately ends bitterly because of Ritsu’s nature. While all life is coming to an end in 10 days, Masumi an adult in a dead-end job meets Ritsu, a rich IT businessman again. All past anger comes brimming to the top but fate has a different plan for them. The story takes a different turn with the introduction of Yuma and Meguru. They all go on a road trip together to drop Meguru and Yuma at each of their houses before time runs out. During the subsequent episodes while they are on the road, we get to see glimpses from their past and we realise this trip is now to reconcile with their past actions and make peace with the consequences.

The series portrays a connection that all the characters have with Ritsu and the relationship that develops between them as they face situations arising from an imminent catastrophe. Amongst all of them the most intriguing character is Yuma. The series remains vague about who he really is and this mystery just adds to the flavour. It leaves a lot to your imagination and keeps you guessing till the very end.

This was highly entertaining with great acting from all the cast portraying some difficult and complicated characters with much conviction. The series also did not shy away from some steamy scenes between the two main leads and it doesn’t appear misplaced in the storyline instead enhances it by showing us the kind of relationship Ritsu and Masumi shared.

In conclusion, give this one a try because of a different take on the end of the world storyline, the emotions of the characters and the mystery behind Yuma.

Don't judge a book by its cover.

This show completely surprised me. Not only in the acting department, but in the NC department as well. I think this story was well crafted and executed and it makes you go through a journey of emotions. The way Ritsu is painted during he first part of the series is terrible, and I found myself really hoping Masumi never got back together with him {even if the world was ending}. But as we go along for their journey towards the end, things come to light and we have to rethink the past. Also, I really enjoyed the unexpected {at least to me} supernatural-ish touch we got in this series. Overall, this was an enjoyable watch and I would recommend.

This Is The End....Of My Sanity

This was really weird. Like really really weird. I didn't care so much for the plot overall, minus the rekindling of our couples relationship. I think Ritsu was wrong for not taking Masumi's feelings seriously and I think Masumi was wrong for assuming their relationship was exclusive without talking about it at all. So seeing them discuss it finally years later and come back together was nice.

The spicy scenes are definitely very spicy, but also some were awkward. It's hard to explain without graphic detail or seeing the show lol. Either way, I would say watch this but only if you're down for some mind-boggling plot devices and frustrations leading to sexy times.

Romance mixed with drama in an apocalyptic scenario

I really liked this series and I'd recommend it to BL fans who enjoy some drama mixed in with their romance.

I admit, I avoided watching it . I had read that others could not forgive one of the main characters, Ritsu, for his actions, and that made me reluctant to watch it at first, but eventually I did. I must agree - I was furious with him initially - but in the long run, though, these complications probably make the story and the relationship more interesting.

The acting is excellent and the story compelling. Ultimately, the series shows us a unique road trip set against a backdrop of imminent catastrophe and the end of humanity. What adds charm and interest to the story is the inclusion of various side characters along the way.

Love till the End of time! ♥️

What a roller coaster of feelings! I I was crying the whole 80% of the series. Glad they had each other together till the end! ♥️

Such a great storyline showing the reality issues that some or most of us had experience such
-Family issue, Relationship, Mental Health, Death, Depression, Gender and Life.

It shows the value of life and the hopes of spending the last days of our life correcting our mistakes and living the very last of it with someone we value and love.

Hoping for Season 2! I want to see if there was a miracle against the meteor or if the boy was actually gifted with power. ?♥️♥️?

A great story

This one is one of the greatest stories that I've ever watched. The story plot is very unique and intersting and I must say very delusional. I loved every bit of it because of the uniqueness that this story holds.

The story had a typical starting like any other series and turn out as a great masterpiece. Even the actors did a great job with their characters. So I must say that this made me think about what will I do if the world really going to end just as this. We can go into their shoes and think what will we do if the world is going to end I've never think about my future through a series but this is the first time I compared something like this into real life.

About the music it must've been a little bit improved in some scense. So it'll deliver the correct emotions to the audiance wa more better. About the rewatch value I must say that everyone need to watch this masterpiece atleast once if you're a bl watcher. Overall this is so beautiful and I really loved it.
So what will you do if the world comes to ad end?

End of the Wold with U is a nice way to end a long holiday

Although the first episodes were more addicting than the rest of the drama, THE END OF THE WORLD WITH U shows a touching side of life, about who and what matters to you. Ritsu is a character that grows in your heart episode by episode, and as far we don't understand why he pushed Masumi away even knowing his feelings for him, the journey they see themselves into is more about discovering their trueselfs than their relationship status. I really hope to see more of Mizuki Maeda in other BL dramas, he's such a charismatic actor. The open ending is good as well.

THE END OF THE WORLD WITH U could be a lot more than it was, but at the same time, still achieves the goal to give a nice story and a cute couple.

so raw ,so touching!!!

guys i was about to check it out and watch one or two eps but ended up bing watching the whole show so im awake at almost 4am lmao
everything about this serie is so raw and i loved it, the sad moments, the happy moments, the steamy scenes of the MLS full of love and feelings ,the trauma and issues, the guilt and hope, everything.
obviously Ritsu loved Masumi but it was hard for him at that time to be commited to one person and was used to sleeping around, only realised what he missed when Masumi left, he terribly hurted him and caused him trauma but im glad when i see someone who did wrong did apologize and looked so sincery guilty about their mistakes
the ending also gave hope and maybe im the only one who loved it, its open ending leaning so much more to a happy end, i think they didnt directly show a happy end because it may look unrealistic, but the characters gave hopeful messages, the unexplainable things too are a big hint that its happy, the sudden rain ,sudden fire and how the bottle didnt fall etc and it helped the characters to lessen their struggles , im telling you that boy have superpower and stopped the disaster from happening lol
i know at some point im going to rewatch this again, i highly recommend this ^^

I still wanna punch Ritsu

I am fine with him being a fuck boy. More power to him. Do you, boo.

But how do you think it is okay to not inform your partners before engaging in such risky behavior.

Putting aside diseases and I am just going to assume safe sex every time. People are crazy and one of his delulu good times could have went after our boy.

Consent is key, even when cucking your partner.

And as much as I desperately want to believe that he would stay faithful and true if they truly survived the world ending, in my heart of hearts, I feel he would fall off the wagon. Or try to convince him to try a three way "for the sake of our relationship".

It's was a great binge watch though I still want to punch him dead in his pretty pie hole for breaking my lil bean.
