Also, the whole omegaverse aspect could have been entirely omitted and it would have had no bearing on the plot.
However, despite these criticisms, the show still managed to entertain me throughout.
The scenes between Pavel and Pooh were electric and their romance was worth following to the end.
Pavel was definitely the better actor of the two, but he nailed his role and some of his scenes were so moving I almost cried.
Overall I don't regret the time I spent watching the show.

With potential but lacking
I really wanted to love this BL I really wanted to but it just dissatisfied me. They wrapped it to fast i mean it was so easy apparently to solve their problems by killing Tony but they just had to drag it for 13 ep and leave much more important things out like that magical cure. What about Pete and Kenta and Kim and Winner? And tha moat important WAY. I just felt that their relationships were brushed aside. On top of that they just killed Way in the most stupid manner. I know he was an idiot for a long time but he did love Babe and i think that after loving someone for 10 year on his own it might take a tool on his mental health. But he did not deserve to die.
Overall I was kinda disappointed. I am happy Babe and Charlie were together in the end but with so many characters with potential i feel something it's missing

The ending ruined it!
OK.........first off good for them to try and bring the whole Omegaverse to the TV screen, however there were a few areas of it that they didn't really go that far into, and thats why some people (i know personally) seemed to be so confused as to why Babe became so obsessed with Charlie so quickly. The show did mention that Babe doesn't like Alpha scents and Charlie doesn't have one, but other than that it kinda skipped over it and lots of people didn't see that as a reason for their relationship. The whole Way being an Enigma thing was the same. Some people didn't understand it, and it was only partially explained in the show.Personally I loved it, I loved the way they didn't follow the stereotypes of 'tops' and 'bottoms' in gay relationships.........with Babe being perfectly comfortable being the 'bottom' in their relationship, and not one even raising an eyebrow at it. That was great. Pavel and Pooh had great onscreen chemistry, and really worked together well. It's the first time I had seen either of them on screen and i'm glad I did.
Babe was really well written and Pavel knocked it out the park. Charlie was a little less understandable, but that was his character, still Pooh did well with it. Even Nut in playing Way.......you know an actor is doing brilliantly when you want to reach into the screen and strangle their character!
This show was seriously going to be one of the best shows i'd seen in a while with its new Omegverse plot, cinematography, actors and interesting plot..........until about episode 9...........then it fell off a cliff!
I have no idea what happened after that but YIKES!
There was no reason to 'kill' Charlie except for to devastate Babe and separate our two leads for a while...........and it was WAY too long! But even then, while Charlie was 'dead' how they handled it was seriously messy. After Babe had had a breakdown weeping for the loss of his partner, Charlie was never mentioned again by anyone, except once when Charlie himself asked Jeff how Babe was dealing with his death.......it was almost like the show was going 'ok he died, and now we move on'. It didn't work right.
Then you had the Kenta/Kim/Pete/Way mess. They were setting up Way and Pete only to then set up Pete with Kenta, who they had kinda set up with Kim......they couldn't decide what they were doing. And I'm sorry but turning Kim into basically the third stooge with North and Sonic was just a waste of that character after its great introduction.
Babe's father and his magic 'antidote'.........they spent so much time on that.........but in the end nothing happened. That was pointless and just wasted time.
Charlie's 'plan' to save Babe by dying.......again nothing came of it, and it just wated time the writers could have used better by forwarding the plot, character relationships and development.
The end episodes where a mess and really let the show down!
Still I liked the show and would watch it again, simply for the chemistry of the cast and because those first episodes were well written.

Why
What the actual f**k did I just watch? It was amazing and the casting was as expected which is good but they just cut things off to quickly. The whole plot of the drama was fuzzy but the main couple was carrying with their chemistry and their kiss scenes . Now that the side couple barely brings anything to the table because their relationship was never explained or got looked in to so now the drama is now a redemption arc and dry . The start was good because it was slow and steady so it had time to expand on the characters but at the end it was to quick because of the episode limit and the rush to get information out that couldve been explained if the drama was longer or they focused on the information at the beginning because they had the time . Not mad just disappointed. Was this review helpful to you?
ok but why was it good though
I went into this show expecting a cringey BL that requires zero braincells to watch, and don't get me wrong it totally is that, but it's also so much more? The characters and story actually have dimension to the point that I really felt for them by the end. There are emotional scenes that deliver well and even some pretty good twists. The main couple are very easy to root for and have a surprisingly wholesome relationship. What I also loved is that they portray the platonic relationships just as well as the romantic ones, something which is often missing in BLs. The plot, while not perfect, is generally very good and ties the whole show together. There were no real loose ends or major plot holes and there were also no unnecessary characters, everyone had a reason for being there. The ending was satisfying as well.I watched this show at the same time as KinnPorsche, expecting that to be my investment show and this to be my light-hearted joke watch and in the end I was invested in this show and hated KinnPorsche (I have a review there too). Just goes to show that you should never judge a book by its cover.
The cons:
- The tonal shifts between the dark and light-hearted scenes were a bit sudden and the music was similarly distracting at times.
- The special effects are not the best but not so bad that they take away from the show.
- The secondary couple was very uninteresting and unnecessary and I skipped most of their scenes.
- Why were there zero female characters? I get it's a BL but come on, not even one?
Overall, if you want a show that you can laugh at, cringe at but also get unexpectedly invested in, I highly recommend watching PitBabe. It was a lot of fun.

by golly they had a Vision and they did it
I've watched Pit Babe twice through now, and I still think it's some of the most fun I've had in BL. I think what makes this show such a good time is that it absolutely nails a niche genre. While omegaverse fiction has a very particular... public image (?) there's a very specific set of tropes and tone to these stories that Pit Babe absolutely nails. From the over-the-top plot, to the fated connection of the partners, to the mostly silly half-explained powers, to family/pack dynamics, this team has done a pretty incredible job adapting what is largely considered niche porn into an entertaining story with pretty wide appeal. I have truly never had more fun tuning in each week to see what they were going to throw at us next.-The Full Review-
STORY:
Pit Babe is... a little silly. The story quickly assumes a soap-opera adjacent tone with several secret siblings and evil family empires and sabotage plots... you get the idea. Unlike many BLs, however, Pit Babe succeeds in consistent tone and commitment that allows the reader to get absorbed into this heightened world. There's an intentionality to the goofier aspects that lets the audience laugh *with* the story, not at it. It's not meant to be too serious.
Despite this, the show does a wonderful job of crafting some truly compelling characters (especially in Babe and Charlie). Where the omegaverse plots gets a tongue-in-cheek humor, the characters get absolute care and heart. One of the most intriguing aspects of this screenplay is the way the story does not allow you to celebrate the downfall of those who have betrayed Team X-Hunter, instead focusing carefully on the guilt and loss the remaining members.
My only wish for the Pit Babe plot is that it was a little bit neater. It seems like the team was trying not to acknowledge the more controversial aspects of the omegaverse, and frequently left important plot points unexplained as a result. Watching live, I got the benefit of information from fans who had read the source material. While the actors and production team clearly did intend to reference these events, I'm not sure the plot always made it clearly to the screen. Additionally, the product placement was simply insane.
ACTING:
I find it genuinely difficult to judge the acting of this show, so let's start with the basics: All of the actors are perfectly competent. As an ensemble, there were no weak links or irritating cast members. It was easy to see the genuine chemistry and friendship of this cast on screen in a way that served the story's focus on found/created family. As loyalties started shifting and we got some unexpected team ups, they ably carried a sense of history extending beyond the timeline of the show itself. Among the supporting roles, Garfield and Benz were particular stand outs, giving such a fun and complete life to characters that had a relatively small amount of lines.
Beyond this... I was a little torn? I was genuinely very charmed by most of the actors! In particular, Pavel, Pooh, Nut, and Spy have gained a very genuine fan in me. But I didn't always feel that they pulled off a natural performance. I was just a hair too aware of the actor making choices behind the character to be truly pulled into some of the most intense scenes. I would have liked to see the production take the time required to let these fairly new actors really get into the scene. I hope the success of Pit Babe allows their next productions (which I will definitely be watching!) a bit more room in the shooting schedules.
PRODUCTION:
Pit Babe was making some strong decisions in the production departments, goodness. I should say first, it's definitely watchable. You won't find oddly empty rooms, terrible shirt mics, and other hallmarks of genuinely poor production here. But my god, did the design teams make some baffling choices. My personal beef lies with the props department that let that travesty of a gravestone get a several-minutes long close up without covering all the seams, but there is a special place in my heart for the costume team that put Way in three separate jackets on the same day too. While it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the show, it *was,* at times, distracting.
INTIMACY:
Hm. Here's the thing: Pavel and Pooh have been open about the fact that the NC scenes in Pit Babe were not particularly thoroughly choreographed, overly relying on cast members in an already vulnerable position to essentially improv... and I think it shows. While Pavel and Pooh had some truly excellent scenes that clearly had a lot of thought and story behind them, Spy and Pon were treated to a very odd pose-to-pose montage without a lot of direction or purpose behind it.
I want to be clear here: I don't blame the actors at all. I mean to say that Pavel and Pooh have pulled off something beautiful in the face of unwarranted obstacles, not that Spy and Pon have "failed" in anyway. But on a personal level, I don't agree with this style of direction. It's the creators responsibility to support and protect their actors, and I don't like seeing signs of their insecurity and discomfort making it to the screen/BTS.
In all, I think Pit Babe was fun show and great stepping stone for some overlooked talents. I enjoy rewatching, but I'm looking forward to what comes next even more.

I was robbed of so many couples
Not gonna lie I tried hard to like Pitbabe, but it wasn’t as good as how the trailer made it seem and I was so excited for 6 couples in one series, but as we know it would never work since it’s too much. We basically only got 2-3 couples, but the third one barely had screen time which was Sonic and North, but it was also like they weren’t a couple since they never revealed their feelings but their so close so people would think they are one. I was pretty disappointed with us not getting one certain couple which I will talk about later in my review and I knew they would’ve ate this show up, but I hope we at least get to see them together next season. I will have spoilers so be aware.I really liked the concept which was racers because it reminded me of Love in the Air which was so good! On the other hand this didn’t go to well for me. I will be honest I wasn’t digging Charlie as much as others were because I just didn’t like the character which was he met Babe and sneaked in the event to ask Babe to teach him how to drive, but instead he had … with him. I guess it reminds me of the novel Jinx where they need to have … so it would make them preform way better than normal and they would suddenly become beast. Not gonna lie I was cringing whenever Charlie and Babe would be saying that their Mama and Papa to each other because that was giving second hand embarrassment to me. I was sad for “Charlie’s death” because of how sad Babe was and how affected he was after that, but once he saw Charlie again he was better than before. I did love Alan and Jeff, I felt their chemistry was off the charts and they were absolutely adorable in every way because Alan wanted to be close with Jeff no matter what and would’ve done anything to make him like him, I loved when Alan went to Charlie to ask him where Jeff was so he could apologize to him and take him out somewhere. I loved their roller rink date because that was the cutest thing on earth. I was so upset when Kenta and Kim didn’t actually get together because they had so much chemistry from that one scene where they made eye contact with each other. I also couldn’t tell if Dean and Winner were supposed to be a couple since they weren’t shown as much as everyone else was. I also felt if they got rid of the Way and Babe storyline we could’ve gotten a Way and Pete storyline because the trailer for season two is so insane for their storyline because when Pete put the flowers on Way’s grave I almost started crying. Overall Pitbabe had its ups and downs, but overall it was a good show and I recommend it.

Take it in small doses
Overall the series is worth a watch, particularly if you want to be able to keep up with the fun bl content on the internet, see handsome men with blinding smiles , quench your thirst for some spicy scenes and get some sizzling chemistry between all cast members (ugh! all the possible ships). If you're not familiar with the ABO dynamics, I suggest you do a bit of a research on this specific topic since anything related to it is implied in the show, which was a very wise decision in my humble opinion. The show is good, but the low quality of the subtitles can get a bit annoying at times. Also! I don't recommend binge watching this. It can get pretty boring if not taken in small doses, but if consumed carefully it can become a favorite.
p.s I loved the ending.

Pit babe the most amazing one
Hello, so first of i should say, this is one hell of a drama. I can say for sure that i watched 95% of bl available in my country. And many of them are my favorite. But not a single kne of them made me addicted to it like this one.Episode 1.
Well, it was good. Not something overly good. But it wasn't bad either. I watched the furst episode without much expectation. But the racing scene was the most striking part that attracted me. And the way Charlie and babe first met and their immediate skinship was some what confusing for many of the viewers.... But they were cute and i was also confused, but later realised the reason. And the most striking part was, this was the first Omegaverse i ever watched, i read nany noval and manhwa, but this was first drama. (Please recommend me if their is another one) . And most importantly, the way i thought Charlie was the bottom and babe wad the top.. Hihihi, the truth was the opposite and it was a slap on my face. (Well, i am sure many of you thought the same) . And it also made me watch it more. And the way they raced on street was also awesome.(They clearly put a big budget on the series. )
And what made me more curious was, tony the villain and the suspicious gaze Charlie had towards babe at the end of the episode. And the way Charlie was asked to report about babe. It was the important point that made me watch second episode. And i have to say, as a person who know about Omegaverse, watching this episode won't be that difficult and those who know the Omegaverse can understand why babe chose Charlie and why was he special. But if you are not familiar, then it would be confusing.
(Those who are confused about omega verse, a small tip:
1.in omegaverse apart from main gender male and female, there is also sub gender alpha, beta, omega.
Eg: male alpha, male beta, male omega and female alpha female beta, female omega.
2. Alpha, without considering the main gender they can make omega and beta pregnant.(not male beta)
Eg : male alpha + male/female omega - baby
3. Omega, can get pregnant by alpha or beta without considering the main gender
Eg: male/female omega + male alpha - baby &
Male/female omega + male beta - baby
4.beta are the ordinary human.
5.every alpha and omega have a sweet body smell called pheromones. Which is used to Sexually attract opposite gender
Eg: male alpha pheromone can attract male /female omega and vice versa. Beta are not affected by pheromones.
6.Alpha and omega usually hate same gender pheromones.
7. There is another gender called enigma, who is superior and can make all, beta, alpha, omega pregnant without considering main gender. )
So now you may understand why babe hate the smell, which alpha can't control during intercourse. And for some reason Charlie don't have typical alpha smell because he himself is an alpha.
Episode 2
It was good. The main story, i should say start in episode 2. It tells the relationship between tony and babe and make them more curious about the plot development. And the way Charlie meeting a unknown person and that person is jeff also piqued my interest. What is the relationship between Jeff and Charlie and what are they planning also made me curious. And of course i can't ignore Way, who had a crush on Babe and Babe, even after having the hint, still consider Way as his close frd was annoying yet interesting. And the way Babe treat Charlie as his special someone and making others realize that Charlie is special to Babe and the fact that way began to get wary of Charlie where all much more worthy. And it made me curious about the next episode. And the way tony is trying to get babe back and the reason behind it also made me curious.
Episode 3
What should i say, i think this one episode covered most of the story. Like how much babe hate his father. And most important part was babe opening upto Charlie about his childhood, how he was cheated by the person he trusted the most. And this chapter also introduce how special babe and his powers where. And it also made me realise that how much babe trusted and relays on Charlie even though he didn't directly mentioned it.
And, Way become more and more annoying in the chapter. Compared to his sincere and cute look he was sooo annoying and tried to create so much misunderstanding. And the way how Babe saw Charlie and Jeff together and he got annoyed and jealous yet heart broken without knowing was so emotional. (Maybe i am evil for smirking when Babe was jealous.) And their fight was heartbreaking. I didn't know who i should feel bad.
And the introduction of pete was also made me curious as who he was
This one chapter have the flashback, deep love, Misunderstanding, jealousy and so on. And of course i can't miss Alan and Jeff's Chemistry. They are so good. Even with so much age gap, the younger one Jeff giving advise to Alan and the cute yet mature way they interact is so cute.) This one episodes was wholesome.
Episode 4
In this episode, my view about way went to minus point. Haaaaaaaa... I hate him so much, why is he so annoying. I just want babe to stay away from this creep, who tried to find other alpha for babe when he declare that he have unrequited love for babe. For god sake, who want their crush sleep with so badly. So annoying.
In this episode, i was so heart broken when Babe failed in the race and got second place and it made me also realise how much effect charlie have on babe. It made me happy. And the way Alan and Jeff interact become more and more cute. They are shy yet not shy.. Haaaa.. I like them. And thia episode made me more curious about pete, a unknown powerful guy who tony is wary of.
And i was happy seeing that babe won again and how much he care about Charlie even when they are fighting. Oh, its because somebody attacked babe before second race and Charlie saves him but was injured. Even though they are fighting, babe was clearly worried about Charlie, he was angry at Charlie but was still worried. And most striking part was when, jeff confront babe and saw his future of car crash. (And i realised Jeff can see future.). That car crash made me more curious and worried about next episode. And i was praying that Charlie and Babe can reconcile soon and was also worried about the crash.
Episode 5.
If you ask me which one is my most favorite chapter till now, i will say episode 5. It was so good. Though, it started with heart braking car crash and Jeff was being accused by Way for causing the accident. I hated the beginning where babe had car crash. But later when i saw babe being angry at Charlie for jumping towards the crashed car without considering his own safety was so satisfying. Babe was clearly worried but acted like he wasn't. And the way he smiled when Charlie cleaned him was so cute. But the next scene where Jeff was accused made me worry. First when Alan and others didn't believe it, but when they begna to believe it, i felt bad and angry at alan. The way Jeff looked at Alan when he didn't believe him was so heart braking. But the satisfying part was when immediately Charlie arrived and showed the evidence that jeff wasn't the one who caused the accident. I was so happy when Jeff even after proving the innocent left the garage. (Well Uncle Alan deserves it.)
And most important part is when, Way tells Babe that Charlie and Jeff where brothers to stimulate babe but the result was opposite. And caused babe to be happy. And the face when Way realises that he made and mistake seeing babe smile was sooooo satisfying. Hijijiji
Later, when Charlie and Babe reconcile and become happy again. I was smiling so much even now thinking about that.
I was somewhat nervous when i get to know that babe lost his ability. I was so tense. But later i was happy that Charlie was going to be a racer. And will replace babe. Though, i was some what sad that babe can't race. Still seeing babe training Charlie was so satisfying. And in the end, Charlie compete with babe was an unexpected turn of event. And made me wait eagerly for next episode.
Episode 6
This episode was special and also not special. In this episode, even though Charlie wws defeated by Babe was still able to join X hunter team. (I am proud of him..) But the most special part was, when they watched the stars and discussed about children and was discussing about being papa and mama. I was screaming when they called each other papa and mama. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa.. And finally Charlie become Babe's boyfrd not his boy. Hihihihinj
.Other part of the Chapter were ignored by me lol. Because these two parts where imprinted in my head.
And when Babe was shy confessing to his frds that he and Charlie was officially dating was sooooo cute..
And i should say, i felt somewhat bad for Way when he cried so badly in the end. And the pete and Way couple was good. (Don't wanna give complement because, i don't have good opinion about way.)
Abd the part where Alan asked forgiveness from Jeff in the cutest way. They where so compatible. And Finally, jeff forgive Alan. (Even if it was me, i would have also forgive him lol). And the way Jeff once again seeing an car crash making me worried. Because, my gut feeling saying that, it highly likely Charlie, who is going to have an accident. I don't know why, but my gut feeling as an author and a reader screaming at me that it going to be Charlie. No memory loss please.
Episode 7.
This episode gave me a heart attack. Way disappointed me once again. But the most heart breaking part was when babe saw Charlie with Tony the so called adoptive father. And he realises that Charlie is also Tony's adopted son and all the thing Charlie told him till now was a lie. (No.... Babe, he truly loves you..) I was crying with babe. And once again creep Way, tried to manipulate babe. Bug i was happy seeing that babe give Charlie the time to explain. And how he heard Charlie's story.
That tony is sooo bad. (I wnat to use bad word, but i am stopping my self.) I hate him so much. How can he do sucha thing. Adopting children and giving them hope and in the end selling them. How can someone be so cheep. And the fact that he is trying to make Babe pregnant with some ao called Enigma gave me creep. How could he. And more over it was for him sell that child for100 million. What a #****d.
What made me more surprised that the ability of Charlie who can absorb other people's power and the way he confess to Babe that he is the reason why babe lost his ability. First i was also unhappy about. But then i thought, by doing this Charlie is protecting babe by putting himself in danger. Charlie is cool. And the moment when Charlie said, ' i can give your power back, whe i die all the power will go back to its owner. ' once again confirmed muly suspicion that Charlie was the one who is going to be in an accident. I hope that, it won't be an bad ending. And the way that Babe forgive him even after hearing this made me realize how stronger their bond and relationship is becoming.
Waiting for the next chapter.......

Cringe wattpad story
✓An honest rant after trying to watch it for the 4th time before giving upI'm amazed that the whole production team agreed to put this out. I was so excited for a new bl series to get hooked on and when I saw this I was overjoyed and quickly added it to my watchlist. I thought it was nice to have a different storyline that's not in a university/highschool. A bl set in the race car world would eat, little did I know it was also an omega verse madness. Literally too much going on too many storylines here!!
I wish they would just leave it around racecar world and not all this extra bs. I'm sorry but this is literally a cringy wattpad story, reading it is one thing but watching it??????how do the actors even do this with a straight face.
I managed to make it to episode 4 before giving up and I skipped most of the scenes because I just couldn't do it I found myself complaining and cringing the whole time so I decided to touch grass and abandon this ship.
~I loved the cast I wish they were given a better script.
~I hate when bls add all this extra fantasy shit to an already good storyline because they almost never get it right.
~I'm sorry to the lovers of this show but I'm a huge HATER! how did you guys who completed it not loose braincells watching this?
