Fantasy romance Marriage contract dramas
MD has reincarnation/past life trope while TSOPMC is time travel to the present trope with the male lead being a reincarnation.

- Both have cold chaebols who fall in love with people born in Joseon (200+ year old demon/Joseon noble lady) and have marriage contracts with them
- Strong female leads
- Cold male leads
- Cohabitation trope

-An mc who's confused in her new life
-A love for choco pie
-A similar relationship dynamic- with a cold and reserved ml and an upbeat fl
-Both mls have a rough past

The biggest difference: 30 but 17 is in a modern setting all throughout the drama!

Time travel dramas with romance and comedy.
In TSOPMC, female lead time travels to the present day from Joseon while in Mr Queen, a man from the present day transmigrates into the Queen’s body in Joseon.

When i first watched The Story of Park's Marriage Contract i immediately got reminded of The Forbidden Marriage. I believe that if you enjoyed this drama there's a high chance you'll also enjoy The Forbidden Marriage. Here's a list of similarities of both dramas:

- both are sageuk romance comedy
- both love stories lie heavily on "contract" and premeditated arrangements.
- ML in TFM and FL in TSOPMC couldn't get over their exes
- both FL are unique in their own way, emotionally mature, funny, and very likable
- both ML are down bad for their respective FL lol
- she fell first he fell HARDER

Both FLs travel from the past to the present and work in fashion. Both fall in love with the ML, a double of a man they were close to in the past.

Both shows have a lot of similarities! They’re both about fate and have a few historical scenes, which are done really well. These two shows are my current favs and they both include going against “fate” or a “curse.” Highly recommend The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract for the great cast, OSTs, plot, etc.! It’s super heartwarming and makes you feel happy, just like A Good Day to Be a Dog ?

Guan Pi Pi is an amateur reporter. In spite of being beautiful and kind, she often finds herself alone in the world. Because of that, Guan Pi Pi feels abandoned and hopeless. What she doesn’t realize is that she has been marked with an ancient curse that has been the cause of all of the misfortune in her life. He Lan Jing Ting is the Jade Master, a secretive cultural relic specialist whose face remains unseen to the public eye. He Lan Jing Ting is practically alien to people, but no one knows just how true that statement is. The Jade Master is actually a deity from another realm. When He Lan Jing Ting meets Guan Pi Pi, he becomes convinced that he can make her believe in love again. But for a man who lives his life in solitude, it might be tough to save a woman suffering from a supernatural, millennia-old curse.
