Hate It
What the heck is this? Too bland, too boring, and too narcissistic. The only good thing about this show is the guy in the pilot episode who was rejected by the main character during their meet-up date. He is so handsome to the point that I wished that he was the main cast here. The script is too shallow that I don’t even get entertained by any single scene presented in the show. It was cliche and overly romanticized. The bad thing is even the main characters can save their own show. They are lacking in terms of chemistry and those kisses aren’t enough to change how I feel about their love pair.
The team leader is annoying; he was hurt in his previous relationship yet still chooses to go around and have some casual fun with people who are looking for a serious relationship. The other guy is kinda annoying as well. He is too clingy that even went overboard and crossed the boundaries as colleagues by touching his boss without any form of consent. That’s it! I am too devastated with this BL hahaha

The Cho Boys didn't knock The Parks Or Lees Down
The Parks (SEMANTIC ERROR) and The Lees (OUR DATING SIM) are two couples with the same surnamed that serves BL Fandom 2 great series. Did The Cho Boys do the same? I'm afraid not but they have nothing to be ashamed of.So lets get right into it. This was an aggressive pursuer and equally aggressive resistor story and those stories are not for everyone. However that story changed quickly to one of mutual fondness.
We have the Team Leader who has a lot of baggage in his past of because of that he cut himself off from the world of love and dating and opting for a life of samples. Meeting men on apps going out with them once and then deleting them as if it was a sample in a warehouse club. Samples aren't there to fulfill but just to get a taste and its no way to live.
So in this vain the aggressive pursuer angle works to a certain degree because it pulled the team leader to get out of his own way. And aren't we glad he did. Team Leader had baggage with an ex that made him feel worthless. Like he wasn't enough so he adopted a lifestyle of one and done date wise.
HaRam gave the team leader the confidence to realize that one bad apple shouldn't leave you living an incomplete life. He gave the team leader a chance to confront his past and to move passed it. The past included a ego maniac that dumped the team leader by text after using him to make his modeling dreams come true. So allowing Team Leader to choose the restaurant and pouring that wine glass contents over his head and walking away with his head held high. Could have been better but the point was clear just as their DATE MATE scenario was coming to it's end and they officially became boyfriends. And the last kiss was nice.
So inclusion was it a great BL, no. But it was damn good. So not in my Top 10 but yet I have an appreciation for the story told. So Good Job Cho Boys.

Cliche' Ex coming back struggle but still Very Cute and very fluttery
This Drama is very Cute, At the very least I am glad that they made the ending that way because it was really sweet and cute, like I feel like these two couples are my baby boys, you what I'm saying, like I wanna adopt them and take care of them ? ..my favorite part on this drama is the way the dominant lead aggressively pursues the submissive lead one, althought at somepoint in real life that is really really annoying , but since it is just a drama I have chosen to feel the fluttery effect of it.
the story is somehow too cliche' like why do they always make a story where the ex comes back and the lead struggles and so hinders their love story ? and also when the lead cannot move on to the past .. that is annoying .. I hope they wont add things like that again in the future.
I was surprised that this drama has a bed scene, like whoa .. for someone that is so cute as them they are like too young to do that ? .. but anyways it is still good and it somehow happens in real life so two thumbs up for that. the kissing scene was good because unlike the other it is a bit saucy not dry ... and it is longer than we imagine, and the kissing scene is not just one on the entire drama and that is waht I like, for young actors like them they do not look too shy to do that and I really admire them as I admire this couple..too bad that BL couples in korea is not being shipped as in thailand where they even have names and so so strong fan club, If they are to have an official ship couple name I will be automatically member of the fan club to ship for them.
I'm gonna re watch this KBL one day, the run time is longer that I have expected I thought is was only like 15 minutes but gladly it was longer.
I recommend this KBL together with Our dating Sim, Unintentional love story, Roommates of Poongduck Villa 304 and so many more unforgettable KBL .l❤️
I really do hope they would star again in KBL as couple one day !

a creepy and stalkerish handsome guy
the harassment tho.... a bit of harassment i let it pass but this is constant harassment that i see, everywhere he go he finds him stalking him and the guy will not take a no as an answer, im trying to not think too much about it as its just a serie, its all fun until its a real life situation it become a serious problem then, they choose a handsome actor and make people swoon and ignore the red flags.that scene when they are in the bus he took it too far, he is leaning toward him and putting his hand on his hand on purpose while the other ML clearly doesnt want to be touched he keeps pushing him away, if you are trying to flirt with someone you dont do it like that, not being creepy and non con touching!! thats called sexual harassment/sexual assault depending on what you exactly did.
and he took a picture of him without his consent and then sent it later to him wtf
some people who love this serie feel defensive but its ok for you to acknowledge the flaws of a character but enjoy the serie as well instead of pretending like nothing wrong with the ML because some people are saying he is "only hitting on him" and "its aggressive flirting" wtf? he was clearly crossing his boundaries.. admitting that some things are morally not right is ok, if he was a woman those same people will not be saying those words
another unrealistic thing, how is he harassing his boss without any consequences, i dont get it , usually the person who has power is the one who abuse their power, but this guy is a new employee to work but he is harassing his boss, so weird concept...
the script is obviously bad, really bad, there is so much better plots than this one ,dropped

BL Fast Food
My thoughts halfway through the series (just finished ep 4):Concept:
This drama is what it looks like when you try to turn red flags into cutesy fluff. One side is stating a clear and persistent “no” and the other completely disrespects his boundaries by constantly touching him and making passes at him. It gives me SA vibes.
Characters:
The character construction is pretty shallow and generic, but the actors are managing to pull it off. I think I actually like them, which is impressive because how turned off I am by the overly aggressive flirting. I think this is a testament more to the skill of the actors than the quality of the writing.
Writing/plot:
The plot progression is probably the weakest aspect of the drama so far. Several plot points have just popped up out of nowhere without the kind of lead-up or framing needed to not give the audience whiplash. It’s clear that not a lot of thought was put into realistic character development or story building. That being said, the general concept of the story is decent and even cute.
Production:
It’s a Korean BL, so it definitely meets a basic threshold of production quality. There’s nothing particularly exciting or artistic in the camerawork, lighting or editing, but it does the job and it looks good.
Overall:
This is what I like to call a “fast food drama”. It’s easy and filling, although with very little substance or originality. It satisfies a lazy afternoon, but I probably won’t be able to remember anything of the story a month from now.

romantization of sexual harassment
sexual harassment is not cute, not funny and definitely not romantic and SHOULDN'T be the base of a whole drama. two episodes and the sexual harassment, the stalking and the non-consensual touches keeps getting worse. it's unhealthy, bad and it shouldn't be normalized AT ALL.and since i keep seeing people giving this show good ratings, imagine if it was you. also, don't even think this kind of harassment will come from good looking, young, "nice" guys and that will stop because you will somehow fall in love with them. it can be harmful in so many ways, can lead to SA and even worse things.
somehow people seems to believe is ok to put a lot of toxic things inside bl dramas because it's two men and it's even worse to see people really accepting it. it shouldn't be like this. if you saw a woman being constantly harassed in your workplace would you be quiet about it? if you saw a man going behind a woman inside a bus and touch her without her consent would you be ok? this double standard needs to end. it's NOT OK.

Could have been better
I am struggling with how to fairly rate this drama. It had so many things wrong with it but it had some good moments also.I totally get the persistent and determined angle they were trying for with Ha Ram in pursing Seo Yi Jin but it came off as too pushy and was tending towards harassment, no should mean no. It seems when beautiful/handsome/rich people display such behaviors they are seen as cute/romantic etc but when people who aren’t attractive/poor do the same thing they get labeled as creepy/stalkerish etc. It’s a very dishonest and selective world we live in.
This series struggled with really bad pacing, they tried to fit too many things without having enough time to flesh them out
The acting, ots and chemistry between our main couple was actually really decent, so IMO it could have been a lot better if the things mentioned above where handled much better.
This isn’t something I would rewatch and I am not really sure if I will say that I do or don’t recommend it. If you are reading this review to decide, then I say I will leave this one as your choice on whether to watch or not.

Sweet, lovely and cute office romance
I really don’t know how to explain the feeling this drama gave me while watching (especially episodes 2-3), it was almost like they are giving me the taste of how it feels like to love and to be loved, that’s how I would describe the chemistry between the two main actors, I shed some tears of how pure it felt and got really emotional and jealous (in a good way).Following the next episodes I was already in love with this series and nothing could bring it down, it just kept getting sweeter and sweeter.
It’s definitely a must watch and I will definitely rewatch this in the future. Thank you for making this masterpiece. ❤️

How to present harassment as love, a synopsis
If you are a person, who enjoys healthy relationships dynamics, you are not going to like this show.Thought the lackluster story, based on some really convenient miracles (like finding your crush on a dating app) up to the literal workplace harassment and toxicity, this show represents the worst ideas screen writers have about representing LGBT relationships.

Was this review helpful to you?
