Adorable
This was only a two episode follow up for Vice Versa but I don’t think it could have been any cuter. If I was married I would absolutely plan special days like that! It was such a clever way to keep the love alive. Just wondered why Talay was working in a tent. ha ha Also, adding the kid was just as cute and was so funny in parts. The cast was great as they were in the full length Vice Versa. Jimmy and Sea make a great match as they are well suited for each other. The little kid was a charmer and was very talented. I would watch this show again.

Suprise Day is really Surprising
You know that saying that having kids will change your whole world? I guess that's what they're going for this time.I love domestic moments in BL series and this special take it into another level with the addition of a child that they need to take care of. Love how Puen got so whipped with the kid and Talay, even though he has his doubts, also gives in and try his best to care for the random kid who showed up out of nowhere. They ended up almost having a real family dynamics and touches a bit about the challenges of having a kid.
Their house also amazes me since it incorporates the small things that is their unique experience of travelling to other universe.
P.S. there is less kissing scenes in this special perhaps because a minor is around, but Jigsaw really won me over with how cute he is

- Did it add anything to the original series
- Was there either an absence, advance, or regression of character/couple development
- Was the story concept interesting
- Script quality
I am a little bias because I’m one of the few that loved Vice Versa. Yes, the product placement was horrible but it had a great story concept. Although it had a bizarre storyline, this was another cute section that showed character/couple development. It was nice that they used the characters Tup and Tou which were briefly introduced in the last episode of Vice Versa. Just like the main series, the actors did an excellent job portraying their characters. The background music choices were great and it had good cinematograph.
Random Note:
It was cool that they continued with the opening credit color theme from the main series.

Puen and Talay in their domestic bliss era
Puen and Talay are in their domestic, family bliss era. And I’m here for it. Even before the kid showed up, I was enjoying them just being all sweet and adorable together. I feel like we often see the couple get together and that’s the end. Seeing them living together, working, doing things around the house, etc. seems so mundane but also so real. And Talay making each day special was so cute! I really liked the little clips from those days.I really like how the two recognized that they did have a problem. One that was in a way tearing them apart, even if slowly. Having them actively work on solving that was something I really appreciated.
Jigsaw is adorable! I like how they just accepted him and didn’t turn Jigsaw showing up into a reason for a fight between Puen and Talay. The two of them being ready to take the responsibility in case either Pakorn or Tess is Jigsaw’s father was really sweet. There was panic, but they were ready to take on the task. And Puen acting cute and like a child while calling Talay papa? Another absolutely adorable scene!
I couldn’t keep the smile off my face for pretty much the whole time. Honestly, I could watch a full 12 episodes of them just being a family, and I probably wouldn’t get bored of it. It offers a lot of comfort, even if it’s just fluff. Sometimes we need just the fluff.
The truth about Jigsaw was not something I expected. And I must admit I am not really happy about it. It involved a lot of lies and that is never a good thing. This is also what is brought my rating down a bit.
Jimmy and Sea have great chemistry. And seeing Jimmy put his whole arm around Sea when their characters kissed is something I have been obsessed since watching the main series. The OST is beautiful as well. The locations too. Their house seems familiar, but I can’t really figure out where I have seen it before.

Bandaid babies CAN NOT fix a broken relationship
First, I would like to say of the current GMMTV lineup, JimmySea is my ult. I was looking forward to this OS2 segment since moment the finale of Vice Versa ended. So basically, I had a lot of expectations about it. And tbf, it come out right on 99% of them.PuenTalay are one of 3 adult/working couples this phase, so it was refreshing that we got to see the progression of their relationship and them having very adult problems like just not having enough time for their spouse, because work takes a priority over personal life. Their calender dates were cute and refreshing, them joining forces to raise a baby that suddenly dropped on their doorstep and who calls them "papa" was also refreshing. That said, it's the identity of the kid that takes away EVERY goodwill the segment spent building in the past 1.5 episodes.
First, the kid is NOT their child (or Pakorn or Tess's) as we are led to believe. I kinda suspected Tup was sorta involved coz the kid seemed to gravitate towards him, but the idea that he sent his nephew that was entrusted to him to random strangers house (best friends, yea, but still strangers) and bribed him to call them "papa" because he thought having a child will magically solve their relationship problems, which doesn't sit right with me. That's NOT how it works in real life.
Also, what kind of irresponsible parents does this kid have - if I entrust my cat to a sitter, I will call 3 times a day to make sure she is fine, and this is a damn child. Where are his actual parents when he is being raised for who knows how long by some random people.
And honestly, the fact Puen was also sort of involved, it wasn't his plan but he knew about it since the beginning. Dude, you are almost 30. You were on a right track with communicating with your partner about work-life balance and you were FIXING IT, so why did u have to agree to some brainless idiot's plan to a child involved. Talay was at the beginning of his career when he transmigrated and unlike Pakorn who kept Puen's life straight, Tess practically destroyed his life and credibility. The dude is trying to build his career from scratch and what he needs right now is an understanding and supportive partner, not an attention seeking man-child.
I know this is supposed to be an epilogue ans a happy ending, but if MY partner pulled "prank" like this, I would be rethinking my relationship, no matter how much I like the guy.

two unstable gays kidnap some kid
That's a good alternate title. They are finally having relatable issues and not "oh no, my boyfriend didn't make it back through the multiverse" kind of issues. They are busy with work and not focusing on their relationship, and they are trying to make things work and rekindle that fire, but it is low key failing. Which is real because relationship issues don't just rekindle over night; they take time, so good on the show for showing that. These two are barely stable themselves, not financially but relationally. They are struggling, and when they see some random kid on their doorstep, instead of taking them to the fire department or something, they listen to their friends and keep the child. Already a red flag, but the child, Jigsaw, really helped them. It didn't seem like it at first, but at the end, he really did help them, and they got closer and loved each other like they once did, but in a different way.
So basically, two gays rekindle their love in the house from the Kinnporsche Christmas Special with the help of Talay's best friends and Tup's sister's kid. I wanted more with the ending, but whatever. That it. Okay bye!

Pink's Not Fading Yet
Of the stories told thus far in Our Skyy 2, this was the most wholesome and the most well done. It had twists and turns that were fairly well done and entertaining, good character development, good music and generally just told a very endearing story. I wasn't sure what I would think of this one based off the trailer but it completely surpassed my expectations.I loved that the story didn't go where I thought it would. I honestly thought it was going to revolve around Tess or Pakorn's love child and Talay and Puen left having to raise the kid. And that's certainly the initial impression. But then there's the twist that he is actually Tup's nephew and he and Tou had the brilliant idea of having the kid pretend to be Talay and Puen's son to help them reconnect since work has been pulling them apart. And then there's an added twist when it comes out that Puen is on in it and a further twist when Talay overhears Puen, Tup, and Tou's conversation and puts the pieces together. He and Jigsaw plotting together was the cutest thing ever. Though I would have loved to know how Tup convinced his sister to let him kidnap her kid for who knows how long.
Again, everything about this special was so wholesome. I appreciated that Talay and Puen recognized that there was a problem and actively sought to fix it. Focusing too much on work and neglecting a partner is a fairly common issue, I feel, and I liked that it was addressed. It was realistic. Especially after being together for 5 years, I think you can start to take each other for granted and lose focus of the relationship. I loved the creativity of the calendar and giving each day of the month a theme of sorts. It's simple but it made them think of each other and spend time with each other. And it's something that anyone could implement. If I ever find myself in a relationship, it is definitely something I would love to do. And then when Jigsaw landed in their laps, they pretty much took it in stride. They worked together to take care of him and even when he went missing at the zoo, they really didn't blame each other. Things weren't blown out of proportion, they each took responsibility for the fact that they got distracted and apologized to Jigsaw for neglecting him. Seriously, their relationship was such a breath of fresh air.
I was impressed with the character growth of Talay and Puen. It's nothing astronomic, but it's there and with such a limited time frame, it was well done. I appreciated that they communicated with each other and had an actually healthy relationship. It felt like they were both on the same footing and they just really complemented each other. One of my complaints with the drama was regarding the time jump and not feeling like there was any development between them. Five years have passed since their journey to the other universe here and it actually felt more like time had passed. So kudos there. I loved getting to see more of Tup and Tou in this universe. They added a good dose of entertainment. I also liked the fact that they were friends equally with Talay and Puen. We see them interacting a bit more with Puen, but it's obviously a strong friendship all around and brings back memories of their friendship in the other universe.
The acting was pretty solid. I thought both Jimmy and Sea did a good job. There weren't any real emotional scenes here which is where I felt they both struggled in the drama. Their chemistry leans a bit more towards buddy than romantic, but I also found that to be realistic. Again, the characters have been together for five years, so a more relaxed chemistry made sense and I thought they did it well. I love Neo. He was so adorably nerdy looking from his looks to his very behaviour. He's one of those actors that seems able to take on just about any role and it's funny to see him in this role after just seeing him in The Eclipse last week as a totally different character. Aou is also a good actor. I've seen him in multiple roles and he's definitely not one of those one note actors. He brings something different to each character. And Chun was the cutest kid. Seriously, so adorable and he did a great job in his role as Jigsaw. His chemistry with Jimmy and Sea was fantastic. I loved their little family, short lived as it was.
Production was also pretty solid. I liked that they continued the theme from the drama of naming each episode after a color that coincided with what was going on in that episode. The cinematography was good, especially there at the end, some of those shots were just stunning. The music was good. I didn't quite like Jimmy and Sea's new song as well as their songs in the drama which I love, but I still very much enjoyed it.
This was an excellent follow-up to the drama. I really did enjoy every moment of it and any complaints I might have are miniscule. I loved the relationships both romantic and platonic, the family dynamic between Talay, Puen, and Jigsaw, the realistic challenges faced, and the way that the characters interacted. This is one that I may come back to in the future.

Faded Pink to Multi color of love and emotions
These two episodes were an incredible addition to where they have left the series. Jimmy and Sea's chemistry is the same as always, magical. Jigsaw was the biggest surprise Puen and Talay got their surprise day. Puen and Talay are amazing papas for Jigsaw. I was smiling throughout the series. It was entertaining and cute. Part two was a visual delight filled with cute moments between Puen, Talay and Jigsaw. The entire cast was incredible. I didn't expect that Tup and Tou were the ones to bring Jigsaw into Puen-Talay's life to solve the issue in their relationship. Talay and Jigsaw utterly surprised Puen, Tup and Tou with their prank. I loved every aspect of this series. Was this review helpful to you?

Puen and Talay remain as Puen and Talay, and that's really good.
The plot it's amazing. When you think about their personality, the fact that work is taking so much of them makes sense. They are who they are. And that's exactly why it's good and well constructed, Puen and Talay remain as Puen and Talay. It's an special, but the characters didn't do something that doesn't look like them! The child is very, very, VERY CUTE too. Everything makes sense in their relationship. The acting remains good and their chemistry it's still on point! But what I loved, it's the OST. It's a very good song, I like it very much (in the main series I didn't care for the soundtrack, expect for City, but it was forgettable).
Compared with the others Our Skyy, it's great! One of the bests, because it's exactly what the fans wanted to see after the end, them as a couple. I would hate if, Idk, they make them go back to another universe, I would be mad as hell. Thank god that was not this type of chaos.
