Project S: Side by side is a sports drama just like racket boys. Both uses badminton as part of the plot of this show. They depict life as they build companionship with each other. It shows struggles of the characters in pursuit to be great players. Both can be heartwarming and inspires people as they watch these two dramas.
It’s super easy to get invested into this cast and their story. You’ll be paying attention to their games, cheering for the hilarious kids to win, and celebrating when they do. The actors all received special training from an expert coach for more than half a year in order for their performances as badminton players to be as realistic as possible, which only makes this series that much more worth the watch!
This drama is about a female figure skater, Lee Haru, who is hoping to make it big. Her life gets complicated when she reunites with her step-brother, Shin Hwal, after many years of being separated. While Haru is trying to make her dreams come true, she unintentionally brings together her skating coach, Choi Soo In, and Hwal together. Haru starts developing feelings for Hwal but things are complicated further as Soo In is her brother's estranged wife.

Racket Boys is a korean drama with badminton theme, while Rebound is a korean movie (and based on a true story) with basketball theme. Rebound’s plot focuses more on the basketball matches, the players, the coach, and their hard work to improve skills despite their condition and limitations. Racket Boys’ plot involves not only about the badminton skills and competitions, but also about families, friendships, dreams, and you’ll also have a good laugh.
Both about sports, follow the journey of a sports team and how they get better and succeed. Hot Stove League is a bit more technical and detailed regarding the sport business (since it follows a pro baseball team), meanwhile Racket Boys is a bit more laid back and light (it follows a middle school badminton team).
