Yutaro asks Daigo to accept his marriage proposal on the condition that he lives in Tokyo. Meiko strongly opposes Yutaro's as she knows about his dream of making Osaka a safe city. Daigo gets even more angry and says, "I don't care if she gets married." Yutaro advises Meiko not to leave the house, and not to lose her happy family. Meiko considers Daigo's situation, who works in the hot weather, and makes ice-cold miso soup "Gawagawa." Meiko tells her father, "In Osaka, I will do my best for my new family and convey my best wishes to make me happy".
