A second year high school student, Morino Hotaru has spent the last few years crushing on her classmate, Otaka Ren. Unable to find the courage to confess her feelings, Hotaru has become something of an expert in unrequited love. Difficult as it seems, Hotaru sets out to free herself from the last, lingering attachments to her mortal life. With time running out, she must hurry, but saying goodbye is hard and saying “I love you” feels nearly impossible!
