I mean, I liked all the individual investigating stories and the interactions with vampire-lady, and I loved Lee Joon and all the "good guys" cast and characters. But I was utterly indifferent to the main story. YuJin/San never appealed much to me --he had more chemistry with the mob-heir police officer lady tbh-- and TaeJun was a horrible character with horribly written issues.
Overall, we are left with too many questions and plot holes, especially in combination with Vampire Prosecutor 1 & 2. Especially San's vampirism was barely discussed or noted. Which just feels like cheating, considering the series' title.

Say what you want about idol actors, I think Lee Joon is a versatile actor. Watch Heard it Through the Grapevine if you don't trust me. He didn't fail while playing Yoon San with the right amount of strength and vulnerability. Oh Jung Se was great as Yong Goo Hyung. I enjoy him in pretty much every drama I have seen of his. He has a way of making his characters believable. Han Gyeo Wool played by Lee Se Young didn't add that much to the story, but Se Young was a joy to watch.
The person that stole the show was Lee Chung Ah as Yo Na. I totally fell for her "bad girl" character. Her character development was well written. She was really good at looking stern but subtly softening her expression when needed.
The music was appropriate.
I might rewatch this if it is a long time before the next season.
I recommend the entire Vampire series. They are well written and acted. Just prepare yourself for the fact that the seasons aren't over and the story hasn't finished.

It is good you can really get into and the actors they were great. Job well done!!
Wish I could say the some for the writers... It started soo great but they ploped it a "little". The plot of this drama is amazing if they make a season 2 I would watch it because I was left with a mehh... Lee Joon did a great job and others too! If you are into the cute Kdramas you wont be that hyped as you are normaly. I'm not saying you wont like it... Know its not romance! Its ACTION!!
You won't be sorry, go watch it. There are as I said mehhs in it but the plot is good and the actors are great. They f* up a little if you ask me XD... But you wont be pissed about it... more "ahhhh"... It is just that they could do a lot better :(

This one was OK
This was only a 12 episode series so I was glad that whatever the plot was, it wasn't going to be a long drawn out plot. The issues I had was that there was too many loopholes in this series. They didn't delve into the detective receiving vampire like capabilities at all. There was no questions asked and none answered.
There were also episodes that literally put me to sleep. Those could've been the episodes where it explained the main characters skills more but it was like 'meh, he's a vampire let's move on', kind of thing.
It was an OK watch. Makes me not want to watch the other vampire drama that's out there. Can't remember the title but yeah, I will be staying away from that one.

Was it worth it: I’m still not sure.
What I liked the most: The individual cases were pretty interesting. I also loved Lee Se Young’s character (Han Gyeo Wool). She was a badass hacker. What’s not to love?
What I disliked the most: The vampire aspect, sadly, and the directing. Specifically, the order of events. The title is also misleading.
Moment Meter: 0/10 – There were none, essentially.
Other thoughts: At the beginning, I was very confused so I couldn’t get into it. There were GAPING plot holes and it too made no sense. Once the episodes only slightly revolved around the main characters and were mostly about the individual cases, it was a lot better. They filled most of those holes by the end of the drama, but until that point I was mostly annoyed at the confusing vampire-related parts. Like other reviewers, I had no emotion invested in the main story. PRO TIP: Vampires don’t seem to be a shocking thing in the universe that this drama takes place. They are mysterious creatures, but not unheard of. They don’t establish this during the drama, so you’re left to fend for your already-confused self. You’re welcome.
Conclusion: You really have to trudge your way through the first 3 or 4 episodes before things start making any sense, but after that it’s smooth sailing and, dare I say, actually pretty good.

I watched this a bit ago so I can’t remember much. This will be a short review. There are just a few questions from me. When was there ever a theory that you can be turned into a vampire by contaminated blood? What happened to the vampire aspect? They just focused on the detective part while just saying ‘oh yeah the mc can’t really die and was once hurt by sunlight but not anymore’ It was a quick watch to pass time, I wouldn’t really watch it again, and like a lot of k dramas the villain was a crazy woman with no objective except to get back together with her high school love who is now 80. Also, the show had no happy ending at all. Mc disappeared, a lot of people died, and it was all a setup for a season 2 that has never come. All in all if you need something to pass the time, it’s a quick watch, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you were looking for something focusing on vampires. Was this review helpful to you?

If you're expecting the main plot to be about his vampirism, maybe watch something else
Only mild spoilers ahead: As someone who only watches supernatural dramas most of the time, I actually really liked it. However, while the vampire theme is the main storyline, it's in the background for the majority of the show. He's a detective that has non-human abilities but he rarely struggles to come to terms with it like you would see in a lot of other vampire shows. Also, spoiler: he doesn't drink blood at all during the show and never once shows he wants to drink it (which is odd for a show about vampires, but it's fine). Also, the human characters don't seem that surprised about the existance of vampires like you think they would be. They find out and then don't really talk about it, which makes the pacing of the show a little weird. I think that they could have had another two episodes if they just added more to him becoming a vampire instead of basically skipping over it.Overall, a good show with a good stroyline, but not as vampire-focused as I had thought/hoped it would be.

Only lee Chung Ah was reason i watch this
we have lead male female and a third wheel but every episode should have lead male with every other woman like it is some romance novel but at end it just end like nothing ever happenedepisode 3 male lead is getting close to old friend like they are something then in next he is flirt with main villain
in next episode 5 he is show a love story with his new clint and actress then as ep end it become nothing
was director has any story or he was biased for male lead that every scene should be given to male lead
This show should only has One MAIN lead and all others are supporting cast
how did director manage screentime give all 55 min to one male lead and 5 min to other ?
........................................... Story there isn't any story
.............................................................. if your fan of any actor then you should watch there scene only
.....................................................................................DO NOT WATCH IF YOUR here FOR Story or something like that
6/10 is only given because it casted LEE CHUNG AH and i wanted to watch her, otherwise director get 0/10 for his directing skills
