Revolver, starring Jeon Do Yeon, Ji Chang Wook, and Im Ji Yeon, dropped its second trailer on July 15.
Revolver tells the story of Soo Young, a former police officer who takes the fall for someone else's crimes and ends up in prison in exchange for a handsome compensation, only to be betrayed. Upon her release, she charges forward with the sole purpose of reclaiming what she thinks is rightfully hers.
The trailer captures Soo Young's journey as she relentlessly charges toward her objective and the people she encounters along the way. A former detective, Soo Young was imprisoned two years ago after taking the fall for someone else's crime. On her release day, instead of receiving the promised reward in exchange for her imprisonment, she meets Yoon Sun (Im Ji Yeon), whom she has never seen before, and senses that something is wrong.
Soo Young traces back her memories and meets people — CEO Cho (Jung Man Shik), who took part in the corruption; her former junior Detective Shin Dong Ho (Kim Joon Han); and Director Kim (Kim Jong Soo), who seems to know everything — to gather clues.
Ultimately, she comes face to face with Andy (Ji Chang Wook), the one who broke the promise.
Wronged and infuriated, Soo Young fights determinedly to take what belongs to her.
Revolver will premiere on August 7. Watch the trailer here.
