The South Korean broadcasting channel JTBC recently released still cuts of 2PM’s Lee Jun Ho from the upcoming romantic comedy King the Land.
King the Land is a story about a chaebol heir Gu Won (Lee Jun Ho), and an ordinary woman Cheon Sa Rang (Im Yoon Ah).
Gu Won lives a perfect life of a chaebol heir of King the Land (a VVIP business lounge). Looks, talent, wealth, grace and charm - there is nothing more he could ask for. But he has an interesting characteristic - he despises fake smiles. Despite having everything, there is one thing Gu Won seeks - his forgotten memories of his mother.
Then there is Cheon Sa Rang (Im Yoon Ah) in the picture. She is a cheerful woman who never lets a smile fade away from her face, which is also the quality her profession demands. She crosses paths with Gu Won and that leads to a bitter-sweet relationship between the duo.
In the recently-released still cuts, Lee Jun Ho is seen in different formal suits and gives a vibe of a hotshot magnate. Just like any other typical conscientious chaebol heir, Jun Ho also wears a serious expression and maintains a strong image of a successful businessman. And from the looks of it, he seems among those who tolerate no nonsense.
King the Land is directed by Im Hyun Wook and its screenplay is written by Choi Rom. The K-drama will release in the first half of 2023. It will be available to stream on Netflix.
