Kingdom actor Ju Ji Hoon is said to have suggested the styling for his character Joe Park, a tow truck driver, in Project Silence.
The K-movie has dropped stills featuring Ju Ji Hoon, his on-screen dog Jodi, and actor Ha Do Gwon.
Project Silence follows people stranded on the foggy Gonghang Bridge, which is on the verge of collapse. They struggle desperately to survive the unexpected dangers lurking around them.
Actor Ju Ji Hoon plays the character of Joe Park, a tow truck driver who rushes to the scene upon hearing news of the collision. It's said that Joe Park's hairstyle was the actor's idea.
Additionally, actor Ha Do Gwon is said to have done an 11-on-1 action sequence in the movie as Captain Kang, fighting 11 military lab dogs.
The lab dogs, brought to life with the help of VFX, were tirelessly tested by a stunt team on set to seamlessly integrate the action scenes. Martial arts director Lee Gon Moon mentioned, "Months of training and testing were conducted to materialize the movements of the fictional lab dogs into reality."
Project Silence also features Jodi, Joe Park's dog and companion. He is like family to Joe and goes wherever he goes. Apart from bravely struggling in Joe Park's bag on the bridge and evading the vicious dogs, Jodi is set to portray adorable teamwork with Joe Park.
Project Silence will premiere on July 12.
