Netflix confirms production of Kim Seon Ho and Go Youn Jung-led K-drama Can This Love Be Translated?.
The drama will also star the Japanese actor Fukushi Sota, Lee Yi Dam, and Choi Woo Sung.
Can This Love Be Translated? follows the story of multilingual interpreter Joo Ho Jin, who becomes the interpreter for global top star Cha Moo Hee.
The K-drama's screenwriters, the Hong sisters, Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran (Alchemy of Souls, Hotel del Luna), will be working with director Yoo Young Eun (Bloody Heart).
Kim Seon Ho (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Start-Up, Catch the Ghost) will play the role of multilingual interpreter Joo Ho Jin, who can speak English, Japanese, Italian, etc.
Go Youn Jung (Death's Game, Moving, Alchemy of Souls) will portray the lively and charming top star Cha Moo Hee.
Fukushi Sota (Kaiji: Final Game, As the Gods Will) will make his K-drama debut with Can This Love Be Translated?.
Actors Lee Yi Dam (Daily Dose of Sunshine, Black Knight) and Choi Woo Sung (Chief Detective 1958, My Roommate Is a Gumiho, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, The King: Eternal Monarch) are also expected to give passionate performances.
