tvN released the first teaser for its upcoming space drama When the Stars Gossip.
tvN's upcoming weekend drama, When the Stars Gossip follows Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), a top astronaut and perfectionist who does not tolerate even a single mistake, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), who goes to the space station with a secret mission.
The teaser begins with chaos erupting among people as a massive meteor hurtles toward Earth. Earth is on the brink of destruction, and humanity's fate rests on a spaceship that launches into space.
Though the spaceship is also in danger, the brave decision of an astronaut ends the crisis.
As people cheer and embrace one another, a narration declaring, "An extraordinary space action drama to kick off the New Year 2025," builds anticipation. Meanwhile, a conversation between Gong Ryong, a space tourist, and Commander Eve Kim, catches attention.
Unfamiliar with space, Gong Ryong innocently asks, "If we go to space, can we too save Earth?" To this, Eve Kim gives a realistic yet humorous reply, "That'll be tough."
When Gong Ryong follows up with, "Then what are we supposed to do in space?" Eve Kim nonchalantly responds, "Ask the stars." This playful exchange raises curiosity about their daily lives in space.
The production team behind When the Stars Gossip shared, "We aimed to portray the ordinary lives of astronauts who call space their home. From eating and sleeping to experiencing love, friendship, and chasing dreams, we hope viewers will enjoy watching what unfolds in their daily lives."
