Director Yoo Jae Sun's film Sleep won the Discovery Award for best debut feature at the Raindance Film Festival in the UK.

On June 27, it was announced that the K-movie film Sleep had been selected as the winner of the Discovery Award for best debut feature. The festival stated, "The acting skills of Lee Sun Kyun and Jung Yu Mi brought out the authenticity and tension of the film, and the film was praised for using the fresh subject of incorporating sleep as a theme in a Korean horror movie."

Sleep tells the story of Hyun Soo (Lee Sun Kyun) and Soo Jin (Jung Yu Mi), a blissful couple whose life is turned upside-down by Hyun Soo's peculiar behavior after he falls asleep.

Released on September 6, 2023, Sleep marks director Yoo Jae Sun's feature debut and was invited to the 76th Cannes Film Festival Critics' Week. The K-movie also clinched the Grand Prix at the Festival International du Film Fantastique de Gerardmer, and the Emerging Raven award, granted to up-and-coming directors, at the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF).
