Netflix Unveils First Teaser Poster of Kdrama "Black Knight" Starring Kim Woo Bin!

Netflix released the first teaser poster of the upcoming action-adventure K-drama Black Knight. 

 Black Knight is a sci-fi action adventure that takes place in a dystopian world. 

The year is 2071. And the world couldn't be in a more desperate situation. Toxic air pollution has taken lives, leaving only 1% of the population to survive on what is now a wasteland. The society is controlled by a few elites, and Chunmyeong Group is among them who wield power and dominate the new world.  

The only way for people to survive is through parcels - containing necessities - delivered by delivery drivers, known as knights. 

Kim Woo Bin plays the role of an elite knight and a skilled fighter who goes by the name 5-8. He meets a refugee who wishes to become a knight. And together they confront the mighty Chunmyeong Group.  

The main poster shows a barren land, destroyed buildings in the background, a face mask, and a knight with a parcel in his hand, indicating the extreme conditions prevailing in the dystopian world. 

In January, the first look of Kim Woo Bin from the drama was also released. He is seen in a face mask and, in another still cut, standing on top of a truck in his trooper attire. 

Apart from Kim Woo Bin, Black Knight also casts Esom as Seol Ah - a military intelligence officer, Kang Yoo Seok as the refugee April, and Song Seung Heon as Ryu Seok -the only heir of Chunmyeong Group. 

The sci-fi drama is based on a webcomic Taekbaegisa by Lee Yoon Kyun. Cho Ui Seok is credited for directing and writing the screenplay of Black Knight. 

The K-drama is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2023. It will stream on Netflix.
