New Comedy K-Drama "My Sweet Mobster" Gets a Promising Start, "Connection" Goes Steady

JTBC's rom-com My Sweet Mobster started off with 2.29% (episode 1) and 2.18% (episode 2), decent premiere viewership for the Wednesday-Thursday drama. 

My Sweet Mobster tells the story of Seo Ji Hwan (Uhm Tae Goo), a former gangster trying to live a crime-free life while also offering a fresh start to ex-convicts, and Go Eun Ha (Han Sun Hwa), a lovely kids' content creator. The K-drama also stars Kwon Yool, Kim Hyun Jin, Yang Hyun Min, and Lee Yoo Joon, among others.

Episode 3 of My Sweet Mobster will air on June 19 (Wednesday). The K-drama is available to stream on Viki. 

The SBS crime thriller Connection scored 9.4% (nationwide) and 9.8% (metropolitan) for episode 7, close to its previous episode's viewership of 9.4% (nationwide) and 10% (metropolitan). However, the K-drama managed to surpass its previous Friday episode's viewership of 8.5% (nationwide and metropolitan). Connection is halfway through its run.
