New K-Movie "Beautiful Audrey" Confirmed for Release This Fall

The K-movie Beautiful Audrey has confirmed its release for fall and unveiled its main poster.

Beautiful Audrey is a film that looks back on the true meaning of family by depicting the hardships faced by a mother and son who seem ordinary but are very special to each other. It also focuses on the deep love of a mother who sacrifices for her child.  

Mi Yeon and her son Ki Hoon enjoy a modest and happy life running a small noodle shop in their hometown. However, their family faces hardship when Mi Yeon unexpectedly falls ill, and they reunite with Ji Eun, who estranged herself from her family to fulfill her desire to become a successful idol.

Having given each other more pain than love, the siblings' conflicts now deepen even further due to their mother's illness. By depicting the hardships the family experiences, the K-movie reflects the true meaning of family, especially in today's society, where personal identity and individual success often outweigh familial bonds.

Veteran actress Kim Jung Nan (Queen of Tears, Reborn Rich, Snowdrop, Mouse, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Crash Landing on You, SKY Castle, Who Are You: School 2015) plays Oh Mi Yeon, a mother who self-sacrifices to protect her child. 

Making his big-screen debut, Weak Hero Class 1 actor Park Ji Hoon portrays Kang Ki Hoon, a good and devoted son who will do anything for his mother.  

Rookie actress Kim Bo Young plays Kang Ji Eun, who turns her back on her family for her dreams of becoming an idol.  

The ensemble cast also includes Lee Pil Mo, Jang Shin Young, Kim Ki Doo, Ha Shi Eun, and Jeon Young Mi, among others.
