"Oasis" Leads Off With Strong Ratings, "Our Blooming Youth" Goes Through a Tough Week

The recently-released romance drama Oasis premiered with a viewership rating of 6.3%. It marks an impressive start for the KBS show. The drama casts Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Choo Young Woo as the leads. Hopefully, it will continue to rise in popularity among both domestic and international audiences.

Meanwhile, the period drama Our Blooming Youth hit its lowest rating of all time. The show garnered an average nationwide viewership of 3.28% for its 9th episode on March 6. The drama's previous episode observed a shred of improvement in ratings. But the numbers once again plunged to the lowest. Nevertheless, in contrast with the domestic audience, international viewers are taking a keen interest in the drama. The OTT platform Rakuten Viki recently reported that Our Blooming Youth is the most-watched K-drama by users in 21 countries.
