Upcoming Korean Movie "4:00 PM" Commences Filming

Daydream Entertainment announced on March 7 that the movie 4:00 PM - starring Oh Dal Soo, Jang Young Nam, and Kim Hong Pa - has recently started filming.

4:00 PM is a suspense thriller about a married couple and how their peaceful and uneventful life turns into a nightmare due to a neighbour who visits them every day at 4:00 pm. It is based on the novel The Stranger Next Door by the prolific Belgian novelist Amelie Nothomb.

After last seen in Big Bet Season 2,  Oh Dal Soo will be seen as Jeong In, a philosophy professor who started living the rural life he had dreamed of after retirement. 

The beautiful Crash Course in Romance actress Jang Young Nam will play the role of Jeong In's wife Hyun Suk. 

And the veteran actor, who was also last seen in Big Bet Season 2, Kim Hong Pa will take up the role of Yuk Nam - the mysterious neighbour who visits the couple every day at 4 pm.

Producer and director Song Jung Woo, who produced A Friend in Need, The Soul-Mate, and Ordinary People; and directed The Nightmare is in charge of directing the movie.

Though the exact date is unknown, 4:00 PM is expected to release in the second half of 2023. So far, there is no word about the movie's premiere on OTT platforms.
