The Joseon Dynasty and Qing Dynasty were at war. After the Joseon Dynasty lost, a deal was made for a Princess of Joseon to wed the Prince of Qing. A woman was chosen by the royal family and given the title of Princess. She was then sent in a convoy to Qing.
