danny_ang:

yes, by kiss someone when she is sleep?

kiss her without her consent?

Those are romanticizing young adult with some weird sexual urge.

@ danny_ang
Lack of consent is not romantic at all. A lot of dramas, back in the days used to feature forced kisses. Today that would be labelled sexual harrassment.

It is a very archaic way of writing romance. Like in the 80's or 90's novels from harlequin collection.

if you are too young and watch dramas only for entertainment, leave Go Ahead and Chinese dramas- They are not for without-brain people.

This is the respect a Female Lead deserves while sleeping. Male Lead wants to kiss her, he gets close to her face, he stops, he looks at her and  says  : "Not allowed, Not allowed".

Then tucks her under the sheets and leaves.

Melody of Golden Age - episode 17 - runing time  : 35 minutes 00 to 36 minutes 10.

Forced kisses and harrassment are not romantic. Today, this is how romance is handled and this is beautiful.

That kissing scene while sleeping in "Go Ahead" is not romantic.

Can agree on this, but you missed one point. Go Ahead is not a romance AT ALL. They focus on traumas and relationships. Romance is realistic there, but it is NOT the focus as in Melody of Golden age ( which i loved a lot).
FbC is trash because they chose to do another cringe romance like the cringe Secretary kim, King the land, Business proposal. A drama without any depth.
How can you compare a drama for 2yo mentally ( FbC) to a drama for adult audience (go ahead)?
it's creepy and abnormal you don't realise that in 2024.

masterpiece

for first 10-12 episodes, maybe. But not for the rest episodes. The writer being inconsistent thorough adult timeline.

The rest 20-30 episodes is, well if it physical things better they throw it into incenerator.

People will only remember strong family bonding in 10 episodes as coping mechanism to sustain the traumatic romance of Ling Xiao and Jian Jian.

well..it seems like war here lol.

I really enjoyed the second and third part of the drama. Specially liked how they wrapped up Ziqiu's arc. I liked MingYue's journey as well, I found it compelling.

Perhaps for some it was boring or dragging. But it's a slice of life drama, it's obvious it won't be packed with exciting moments.

It really seems one man's trash is another man's treasure. You dislike Go Ahead, while imo is one of the best modern chinese dramas out there.

FbC is bad written withou any feelings, they are not even friends.
Probably you are a minor and Go ahead is not for you.
Go Ahead is a slice of life masterpiece, not a romance.

they are minors, they can't understand more than trashy romance with u*ly idols like in this case. It's useless talking to them because they are here to dirt their pants on the idols, not because of the plot.

Kammiya tried to cool down the situation because this is inconvenient for everyone.
But someone like you won't understand because landfill inside your head took all of the space.

Yes, it's inconvenient for FANS, since people here only for the cringe actor portraying Sanha can't even discuss the drama properly. You want to cool down the situation when people still thinks that the leads in go ahead are not handsome, and sorry Song weilong is way more handsome than both korean leads.
We are here to discuss and analyse a REMAKE, not a korean drama. But someone like you probably can't even understand it.

Not everybody has the sensibility to appreciate the psychological development of a character in a slice of life story. I often hear people saying it is boring. But I guess a lot of people are used to watch wattpad type dramas, with a lot of cliffangers every 5 minutes.

Unfortunatly, people today don't give dramas a chance to settle the story and develop the plot. This is how we got k-dramas (in another genre ) like "Queen Woo" : with a graphic intercourse, blood and fights in 10 episodes. Dramas want to entertain the audience.

Like you said : "It really seems one man's trash is another man's treasure."

As long as the story is good, I can enjoy the show.

That's exactly what i think.  I love cliffhangers in thrillers, BUT wattpad dramas are te things that gets me bored in 1 minutes.
Go Ahead's success is due to the fact that it's NOT a wattpad romance, but s slice of life where the romance is developed BUT it has the least importance in the whole world building and psychological development. People expecting romance should NOT watch not even remakes from slice of life dramas, because they will ruin the mood.

It there loop holes in the story? That would be a very serious problem. Or those inconsistencies come from the characters.

In Go ahead there is no loop holes, there is a 9 years time skip which makes characters more mature, but still dealings with their childhood traumas. Trauma is the key word for Go Ahead, showing that childhood traumas can be put aside while growing, but it's difficult or impossible to overcome them because they shape your adult self.

It's you, whom make us can't discuss drama properly.
