well..it seems like war here lol.
I really enjoyed the second and third part of the drama. Specially liked how they wrapped up Ziqiu's arc. I liked MingYue's journey as well, I found it compelling.
Perhaps for some it was boring or dragging. But it's a slice of life drama, it's obvious it won't be packed with exciting moments.
It really seems one man's trash is another man's treasure. You dislike Go Ahead, while imo is one of the best modern chinese dramas out there.
Not everybody has the sensibility to appreciate the psychological development of a character in a slice of life story. I often hear people saying it is boring. But I guess a lot of people are used to watch wattpad type dramas, with a lot of cliffangers every 5 minutes.
Unfortunatly, people today don't give dramas a chance to settle the story and develop the plot. This is how we got k-dramas (in another genre ) like "Queen Woo" : with a graphic intercourse, blood and fights in 10 episodes. Dramas want to entertain the audience.
Like you said : "It really seems one man's trash is another man's treasure."
As long as the story is good, I can enjoy the show.
