Yes, we need season 2, but with all main cast back. Don't mind to wait long, as long as we can see happy endings for XE and YWY as written in the novel. But with all comments about how the production team cheated the cast and cut many scenes, I think it's a slim chance ZLY and LGX will be back in season 2 (I cry a river and an ocean T_T). I'm so glad I can heal my broken heart thanks to SueLee's posts and slowly forgetting the unsatisfied drama ending.

I also want to know what happened to Yuan Xan. After i knew about happy ending for XingYue, I really pity Yuan Xan. He's all alone, i mean alone! Xinger was the last person that he has left and now she left him too. :-(

@Sey: YX didn't end up alone, he married Liang princess and held a wedding party that lasted 2 weeks (I think, I remember his wedding lasted several days)...YX basically pursued power since he married for political reason to gain more allies to help him in his conquests.

2 weeks? must be a grand wedding? I understand that he loves Xinger too, but his hate consumes his conscience that getting power is more important than his own happiness.. Poor guy, married for political reason, will he eventually forget xinger and fall for Liang princess?

I need to be cleared on something. So Chu Qiao (in the novel) IS A TIME TRAVELER? instead of being the leader of the group her mother left? Then what about her martial arts and all? Please answer my question on who Chu Qiao really is, (her past)?(Drama vs Novel)

Yes the leader of that spy sect her mother left is an element added for the drama, that’s the difference in Chu Qiao’s background between drama and novel.  In the novel she is a spy for the government in the modern world who time traveled to ancient world, it’s been a while since I read the novel but if my memories served me right she died in modern world at age 27-28.
