thank you :)
Since Then The moon has cycled Once since then Since then Dozens of pills have Coursed through my skin Since then Ounces of alcohol have Drenched my throat Since then Waves of salt have Flowed on my cheeks Since then Streams of pain have Conquered my heart Since then Millions of dreams have Pierced my soul Since then I am two halves Of a whole.
Another and Another Five

Popped another 5
Into mouth, into gut
Can’t function
Without it anymore.
Incessant beating
Pounding to the ears
To the jaw
To the head as a whole.
The whole world spinning
Both literally and literally
In circles as
Five make their way
Down the throat.
No relief, no gain
No escape at all
Spin, spin, spin, spin.
And in four hours
Five more will drown.
@yanchumicho

A tad tardy, but if you're lurking, let me the first to pay my compliments. (I'm referring to The shiny, silvery salt replays...) Very lyrical. Its music is impeccable. And if poetry was that and only that, it would be perfect. Don't misunderstand me though as what I really mean is that's its imperfection is preferable to perfection.

I don't know when I wrote this or why, but it strikes me as funny. I hope some of you do as well.

My Lady,
I do flatter myself
to presume I am the object
of My Lady's adoration.
No man deserves to be regaled
with such violent spasms of the
heart--be he the undisputed
king of the realm or the poor
schmuck who just broke the bank
in Vegas.
@KiaSoul

Thank you! I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you before. I just saw your comment. :)

Your poem is awesome as well. I love the last line. :)
I had to write a poem on gender and I thought I'd share :)

My gender
An expression of art
From a shelled-up prison
Locked closely within binaries of parts
A ritual of bareness
Wrapping one's naturistic form
Enveloped in questions of form
True-sighted vision
Exclaims shallow screams
Guilt ridden
Embracing of 'I'
Oneness sees the truth
Inner vision of essence
Coiling within membranic structure
Of thy love of 'I'
Sight can be blinded
When truth is misguided
Hibernating one's awareness
Self imprisonment
Awaken to metamorph
Parts are parts
Form is form
I is I
I am I
Venus nor Mars
I cannot be named
A blank is not a given
An embodiment of self
Selfish mortars by clouded eyesight
Stripped 'I'
Ripped away removable substance
That reveals nothing
But 'I'
I am I
A walking resemblance
Placed in concrete cosmos
Far from hidden
Fear-sighted to see
I am free
A sculpture
Walking upright
I am thee
No hidden barriers
Confrontation amiss
I am I
An equivalent
Next to you
I would do away with punctuation altogether. (The capitalization needs to go.)

Otherwise, it's good 'cause the protest is neither shrill nor strident.
Reflections ( took me 5 min to create it based on today's slow rainy day)

Look at your life. Charismatic.
Can you feel your heart? Problematic.
Your dreams are now - Stigmatic
Taking a next step is Automatic.
Life and Love are kind of Static
Marriage can be sometimes Homeopathic
We face death daily. Catastrophic
Family and friends are Sympathetic
I Just wish my life would be less Pathetic.

How can that be? (One day, I was sitting in the park, and look around at other people's faces... then I created this:)

How can a man love a woman without love?
How can a woman value a man without hate?
What brings us together at the end?
Tears, laughter,or joy?

How can a mother abandon a child?
How can a father forget his newborn?
What makes some people like that?
Hardship, or perhaps lack of love?

How can a teenager end his life?
How can a friend let you starve?
What comes out of life?
Pain or Relief of Cries.

Look at the people around you
How sad.
What happened to society,
when the life is like that???
If you could.... (another 5 min of my time that had to be used for something:))

If you had a magic wand.
What would come out of that?

If you had a bag of coins.
What would you do with that?

If you had unconditional love?
Would you jump up and down from joy?

If you had your health forever?
Wouldn't you be thankful to heavens?

If your parents were immortal?
Would you smile forever?

If you did not have to die?
Would you create paradise?

If you could change anything in your life?
Would you want to stay like that forever?

I would.
Stop!

Stop! I beg you!
Stop! I will make you!
Stop! Life goes faster each day.
Stop! Look at the love you can share.
Stop! Give me a smile
Stop! Pick me up when I fall now
Stop! Hug a friend and show them you care
Stop! Call your loved ones and cherish them
Stop! Embrace life the best way you can
Stop! Pray.
Stop! But wait, your life is just about to end
Did you do all those things to show me that you care?
If not, Stop! Life is still there.
To the unborn child.

Hello? Do you remember me?
I am your mom.
I cried and laugh for you all your life.

Hello? Do you miss me?
I am your dad.
We have gone fishing together in your life.

Hello? Can you see me?
I am your grandma.
Do you still taste cookies I made for you.

Hello? It's Grandpa
The one who carried and hug you.

Hello? It's your future family.
We are awaiting for you to do those things we say we do.
Wedding day.

Sincerity in my heart
Honestly in my eyes
Commitment in my voice
Purity in my soul
Ring on my finger shines bright
My forhead frauns
My wedding dress stained by your love
His clear note "yes I do"
Promise of forever and
A glass of toast

All this makes us married now.
Will you remember that in years to come or toss it as we grow?
