in america when they do that it's b/c the actress is HOT. in korea...well i'm still trying to figure out why they do it. kim tae hee i understand b/c people keep saying she CAN act when she can't, so that's like some kind of collective delusion, but how the chick that played mok dan got more work is beyond me.
has anyone else noticed most of these are female characters? i think that might be an east/west thing. The way females are expected to act in the east is different than the west so these characters chaff at certain western sensibilities.
