I'd like to think we have all been there before after completing a drama. Emptiness that swallows you up like a head cold. Nothing on your PTW list looks like it could ever compare to what you've finished, and you find yourself staring at the ceiling for answers. You probably juggle a few dramas after, complete one or two, and find yourself searching for those feelings again.

Personally, the two dramas that have left me feeling the most empty after completion were The Moon Embracing the Sun and Missing You. Both of these dramas were emotionally heavy and I found myself very attached to the characters.

I'd like to know what drama(s) has been the most difficult to replicate? Are you still searching?
My 4 favorites: "The King2hearts", "Bridal Mask", "A gentleman's dignity" and "Padam, Padam" moved me to the core. I'm very attatched to them, and I don't think they'll be replaced anytime soon... And I only added another one, but for another reason: "Good Doctor" because it was the first drama I watched airing, and when it was over I was left with an empty feeling and only one tought: "What am I going to do with my Mondays and Tuesdays now? What am I going to watch?"

I loved A Gentleman's Dignity so much. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy it because it's fairly unconventional (I am not in my 40s and did not think I could relate) but the bromance and Choi Yoon / Me Ah Ri were just too much for me not to love. I think I tiptoe between adding it to my 'favorites' list or not. It's really hard for me to decide on just 5.

I also really enjoyed Padam Padam because I think Han Ji Min is wonderful. King2Hearts is one of the dramas I would have enjoyed so much more if there wasn't the unnecessary death of one of my favorite characters - never forgive, never forget! I haven't seen Bridal Mask or Good Doctor so I can't comment on that. The Master's Sun was the first and only drama I have watched while airing and I am not sure if it helped or hurt my enjoyment of it, honestly. Waiting a week or so in-between cliffhangers typically frustrates me and sometimes I lose interest. That's how it was with Lost for me. I get frustrated and eventually give up - that's why I love to marathon shows, I don't enjoy being forced to stop when I have the time to spare.
Heartless City. I am a pretty big fan of Jun Ki. I was watching Two Weeks around that time and liking it. Then I happen to come across HC on the Bridal Mask recommendations. Well...now I'm not sure if Two Weeks became bad towards the end...or if HC did that to me. But I ended up not liking Two Weeks as much as I had before. I still like the drama. But it felt like cheap writing in comparison.
I've been dreading finishing Unstoppable High Kick since it really grew on me. With the crazy amount of short episodes, it was my go-to drama whenever I was bored. Adding to that, the budding teacher-student romance there was so sweet, adorable, addictive and just a little bit heartbreaking... A killer combination, really. Also making it bit worse is that I really liked all the characters in the family - and the pseudo-family. No unlikeable ones so there's not even a bit of that "ah, I'm glad it's finally over" -feeling. Nope. I could take another 100 episodes more, pleeeease? I suppose I should just kick off another sitcom right away so I won't have time to process this one too much. High Kick 2 & 3 are waiting, after all. Comedies aside, I'm feeling a bit of drama slump in the romance department after finishing I Hear Your Voice. I really feel I won't be finding such an ideal couple anymore. So, I'm doing my best watching other dramas, yet, a part of me just wants to rewatch IHYV again and again and again....

I'm not sure I have the attention span to watch something that is over 100 episodes..
I SERIOUSLY recommend "Bridal Mask" and "Good Doctor" if only for Joo Won's acting (and I say: "If only" because even if they are pure awesomeness you may think I'm biased). He's a genious, my favorite actor EVER (I swear, I constantly forget he's only ACTING).

About King2Hearts... I will only say that I've never cried as much with any other drama. I swear. I even cried when I rewatched it, eventough I knew that was going to happen. It's one of my favourites because it really moved me and *Spoiler in white* even if didn't want him to die, I don't think it was unnesesary... it was like a splash of reality. But the ending was not tragic (if it was, it wouldn't be one of my favs), just a little bittersweet. *END* AND it has my favorite female character EVER!! :P

I'm a huge fan of Ha Ji Won from both King2Hearts and Secret Garden, she's positively adorable and her emotional range is quite impressive. Even though I love both Ha Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi, I thought the secondary couple in this drama may have actually been sweeter. I don't know, I often have a thing for the secondary couples in dramas (The Princess' Man, That Winter The Wind Blows and King2Hearts come to mind.)
I can't seem to get over 'In Time With You'. I felt for Lee Da Ren, and ended up bawling buckets sometimes for the unrequited love he had for You Qing. He was her rock, and she didn't even realize it!!! He also made me so frustrated, plus the secondary stories were excellent, even though they weren't around as much as I would have hoped to see them. I was so so drained after this show, I couldn't even watchc anything else for almost a month!

Oh, I understand that! I often prefer secondary couples in dramas too. Especially when they include second male leads *COUGH*The master's sun*COUGH* :) But I learned that prefering them is kinda depressing 'cuz I always end up wanting more about their story, like a drama just for them, but that isn't going to happen so..

I'm not sure how I forgot my second favorite secondary couple! (behind Jung Jong and Kyung Hye in the Princess Man', I felt like crying for days.) Tae Yi Ryeong was perfect with Kang Woo and I typically hate her character archetype. She didn't come across as confrontational or snobby at all like most secondary females - she was amusing and very, very cute. A+
Gentleman's dignity... For sure it was a great drama that it didn't get off my mind for many and i was not able to concentrate on other dramas :P

I don't think there is another drama in the entire world like A Gentleman's Dignity. It's so unconventional, yet wonderfully constructed. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone that was on the fence about watching it like I was.
coffee prince. it's kind of hard to find something that captivated my attention like this one.
I'm still not able to find the same interest in a drama that I had with Bridal Mask. Most recently though, it's been Master's Sun. It was just so lighthearted and funny and I've been going through a difficult time so I miss the distraction.
